The insulin-like growth factor(IGF)axis plays important roles in cancer development and *** type 1 IGF receptor(IGF-1R)is a key member in the IGF axis and has long been recognized for its oncogenic role in multiple cancer *** we review the occurrence of IGF-1R aberrations and activation mechanisms in cancers,which justify the development of anti-IGF-1R *** describe the therapeutic agents available for IGF-1R inhibition,with focuses on the recent or ongoing pre-clinical and clinical *** include antisense oligonucleotide,tyrosine kinase inhibitors and monoclonal antibodies which may be conjugated with cytotoxic ***,simultaneous targeting of IGF-1R and several other oncogenic vulnerabilities has shown early promise,highlighting the potential benefits of combination ***,we discuss the challenges in targeting IGF-1R so far and new concepts to improve therapeutic efficacy such as blockage of the nuclear translocationofIGF-1R.

Polynaphthoxazines-clay nanocomposites were prepared from 1, 5-dihydroxynaphthalene, aniline, formaldehyde and different proportion montmorillonite(MMT) by in-situ reaction in ethanol. Dynamic TGA showed that nanocomposites have delayed decomposition temperatures when compared with pristine polynaphthoxazine indicating the enhancement in the thermal stability.

A fire control system of artillery includes a photo-tracker, a computing subsystem and a servomechanism. The photo-tracker outputs moving characteristics of the target during the tracking process, and basing upon this, the computing subsystem makes the computation and outputs shooting elements, and the servo-mechanism controls this piece of artillery to point to the foregoing position of its target in terms of the latter elements.

The hydrolysis rate of Go-bearing ferrous chloride at elevated temperature and the conditions of separation of Co from Fe have been investigated. The hydrolysis process is comprised of the interfacial chemical reaction and the intra-grain diffusion. At the stage under the control of the interfacial chemical reaction, the apparent rate constant k equals to 198.79exp(-80.57/RT). The effects of the temperature, the partial pressure ratio of water vapor and the reaction time on the Co recovery and the separation of Co from Fe are examined. The optimum hydrolysis conditions are determined.

During the etherification of 1,2-O-isopropylidene-4,6-di-O-benzyl myo-inositol, the specific regioselectivity on 3- or 8-hydroxyl group was showed to be determined by the nature of the O-alkylating agents used. As demonstrated by MM and MNDO calculation, the regioselectivity of the reaction mentioned can be rationalized by steric and/or electronic effect.

In the theoretical study of numerical solution of stiff ODEs, it usually assumes that the righthand function f(y) satisfy one-side Lipschitz condition less than or equal to v(1)parallel to y - z parallel to(2),f : Omega subset of or equal to C-m --> C-m, or another related one-side Lipschitz condition [F(Y) - F(Z), Y - Z](D) less than or equal to v'parallel to Y - Z parallel to(D)(2), F : Omega(s) subset of or equal to C-ms --> C-ms, this paper demonstrates that the difference of the two sets of all functions satisfying the above two conditions respectively is at most that v' - v' only is constant independent of stiffness of function f.
