The Panzhihua intrusion in southwest china is part of the Emeishan Large Igneous Province and host of a large Fe-Ti-V ore *** emplacement of the main intrusion,multiple generations of mafic dykes invaded carbonate wall rocks,producing a large contact *** measured the oxygen-isotope composition of the intrusions,their constituent minerals,and samples of the country *** and plagioclase from Panzhihua intrusion haveδ18O values that are consistent with magmatic equilibrium, and formed from magmas withδ18O values that were 1-2‰higher than expected in a mantle-derived *** unmetamorphosed country rock has highδ18O values,ranging from 13.2‰（sandstone） to 24.6-28.6‰（dolomite）.The skarns and marbles from the aureole have lowerδ18O andδ13c values than their protolith suggesting interaction with fluids that were in exchange equilibrium with the adjacent mafic magmas and especially the numerous mafic dykes that intruded the *** would explain the alteration ofδ18O of the dykes which have significantly higher values than expected for a mantle-derived *** on the exactδ18O values assumed for the magma and contaminant, the amount of assimilation required to produce the elevatedδ18O value of the Panzhihua intrusion was between 8 and 13.7 wt.%,assuming simple *** exact mechanism of contamination is unclear but may involve a combination of assimilation of bulk country rock,mixing with a melt of the country rock and exchange with cO2-rich fluid derived from decarbonation of the marls and *** mechanisms,particularly the latter,were probably involved in the formation of the Fe-Ti-V ores.

To find novel functional beverages from folk teas, 33 species of frequently used non-camellia tea(plants other than camellia) were collected and compared with camellia tea(green tea, pu-erh tea and black tea) for the first time. Data are reported here on the quantities of 20 free amino acids(FAAs) and three purine alkaloids(measured by UHPLc), total polyphenols(measured by Folin-ciocalteu assay), and antioxidant activity(DPPH). The total amounts of FAAs in non-camellia tea(0.62–18.99 mg/g) are generally less than that of camellia tea(16.55–24.99 mg/g). However, for certain FAAs, the quantities were much higher in some non-camellia teas, such as γ-aminobutyric acid in teas from Ampelopsis grossedentata, Isodon serra and Hibiscus sabdariffa. Interestingly, theanine was detected in tea from Potentilla fruticosa(1.16±0.81 mg/g). Furthermore, the content of polyphenols in teas from A. grossedentata, Acer tataricum subsp. ginnala are significantly higher than those from camellia tea;teas from I. serra, Pistacia chinensis and A. tataricum subsp. ginnala have remarkable antioxidant activities similar to the activities from green tea(44.23 μg/m L). Purine alkaloids(caffeine, theobromine and theophylline) were not detected in non-camellia teas. The investigation suggest some non-camellia teas may be great functional natural products with potential for prevention of chronic diseases and aging,by providing with abundant polyphenols, antioxidants and specific FAAs.

＜正＞Though neurofuzzy networks can approximate a nonlinear system with arbitrary accuracy, good generalization results are obtained only if the structure of the network is suitably chosen. It is therefore important that there are reliable techniques to select the ’best’ structure of the network. The Support Vector Neurofuzzy Network （SVNFN） derived here from the Support Vector Regression （SVR） has the special feature that its structure is selected for the error bound specified by the user, similar to that of the SVR. As the output of the network is linear in its weights, the weights can be estimated by the linear least squares method. Important properties of the SVNFNs, such as bounded modelling error and unbiased estimate of the dynamics of the system are also derived. To illustrate the performance of the SVNFN, it is applied to model a nonlinear system.

Background: Postpartum inflammation is a natural and necessary response;however, a dysfunctional inflammatory response can be detrimental to animal productivity. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug(meloxicam) on ewe postpartum inflammatory response, ewe plasma polyunsaturated fatty acid and oxylipid concentrations, and lamb ***: After lambing, 36 Hampshire and Hampshire × Suffolk ewes were sequentially assigned within type of birth to control(n = 17) or meloxicam orally administered on d 1 and 4 of lactation(MEL;90 mg, n = 19). Milk and blood samples were collected on d 1(prior to treatment) and d 4. Milk glucose-6-phosphate was not affected by MEL. Plasma haptoglobin(Hp) concentrations were less for MEL ewes;control ewes with greater d 1 Hp concentrations had elevated Hp on d 4, but this was not the case for MEL-treated ewes. Treatment with MEL increased plasma arachidonic acid concentration by more than 4-fold in ewes rearing singles but decreased concentrations of 9,10-dihydroxyoctadecenoic acid, prostaglandin F2α, 8-iso-prostaglandin E2, and 8,9-dihydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid. Nine oxylipids in plasma had interactions of treatment with d 1 Hp concentration,all of which revealed positive associations between d 1 Hp and d 4 oxylipid concentrations for cON, but neutral or negative relationships for MEL. MEL decreased 13-hydroxyoctadecadienoic acid:13-oxooctadecadienoic acid ratio and tended to increase 9-hydroxyoctadecadienoic acid:9-oxooctadecadienoic acid ratio(both dependent on d 1 values), indicating progressive metabolism of linoleic acid-derived oxylipids occurred by enzymatic oxidation after MEL treatment. Ferns and lycophytes have remarkably large ***,little is known about how their genome size evolved in fern *** explore the origins and evolution of chromosome numbers and genome size in ferns,we used flow cytometry to measure the genomes of 240 species(255 samples)of extant ferns and lycophytes comprising 27 families and 72 genera,of which 228 species(242 samples)represent new *** analyzed correlations among genome size,spore size,chromosomal features,phylogeny,and habitat type preference within a phylogenetic *** also applied ANOVA and multinomial logistic regression analysis to preference of habitat type and genome *** the phylogeny,we conducted ancestral character reconstruction for habitat types and tested whether genome size changes simultaneously with shifts in habitat *** found that 2 c values had weak phylogenetic signal,whereas the base number of chromosomes(x)had a strong phylogenetic ***,our analyses revealed a positive correlation between genome size and chromosome traits,indicating that the base number of chromosomes(x),chromosome size,and polyploidization may be primary contributors to genome expansion in ferns and *** sizes in different habitat types varied significantly and were significantly correlated with habitat types;specifically,multinomial logistic regression indicated that species with larger 2 c values were more likely to be *** habitat is inferred to be ancestral for both extant ferns and lycophytes,whereas transitions to other habitat types occurred as the major clades *** in habitat types appear be followed by periods of genomic *** on these results,we inferred that habitat type changes and multiple whole-genome duplications have contributed to the formation of large genomes of ferns and their allies during their evolutionary history.

cohesive scientific evidence from molecular, animal, and human investigations supports the hypothesis that constitutive overexpression of cyclooxygenase-2(cOX-2) is a ubiquitous driver of mammary carcinogenesis, and reciprocally, that cOX-2 blockade has strong potential for breast cancer prevention and therapy. Key findings include the following:(1) cOX-2 is constitutively expressed throughout breast cancer development and expression intensifies with stage at detection, cancer progression and metastasis;(2) essential features of mammary carcinogenesis(mutagenesis, mitogenesis, angiogenesis, reduced apoptosis, metastasis and immunosuppression) are linked to cOX-2-driven prostaglandin E2(PGE-2) biosynthesis;(3) upregulation of cOX-2 and PGE-2 expression induces transcription of cYP-19 and aromatase-catalyzed estrogen biosynthesis which stimulates unbridled mitogenesis;(4) extrahe-patic cYP-1B1 in mammary adipose tissue converts paracrine estrogen to carcinogenic quinones with mutagenic impact; and(5) agents that inhibit cOX-2 reduce the risk of breast cancer in women without disease and reduce recurrence risk and mortality in women with breast cancer. Recent sharp increases in global breast cancer incidence and mortality are likely driven by chronic inflammation of mammary adipose and upregulation of cOX-2 associated with the obesity pandemic. The totality of evidence clearly supports the supposition that mammary carcinogenesis often evolves as a progressive series of highly specific cellular and molecular changes in response to induction of constitutive overexpression of cOX-2 and the prostaglandin cascade in the "inflammogenesis of breast cancer".

AIM To investigate the incidence of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis(SBP) in pre-transplant patients and its effect on post transplant mortality and graft failure. METHODS We conducted a retrospective cohort study of patient records from the organ procurement and transplant network data set. Patients were identified by the presence of SBP pre-transplant. Univariate post-transplant survival models were constructed using the Kaplan-Meier technique and multivariate models were constructed using the cox proportional hazards model. Variables that affected post-transplant graft survival were identified in the SBP population. RESULTS Forty-seven thousand eight hundred and eighty patient records were included in the analysis for both groups, and 1966(4.11%) patients were identified in the data set as having pre-transplant SBP. Patients that had pre-transplant SBP had higher rates of graft loss from recurrent hepatitis c virus(HcV)(3.6% vs 2.0%, P ctions leading to graft loss(1.9% vs 1.3%, P = 0.02), primary non-function(4.3% vs 3.0%, P chronic rejection(1.1% vs 0.7%, P = 0.04). Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed a statistically significant difference in all-cause survival in patients with a history of SBP vs those without(P ctiveof mortality due to recurrent HcV(HR = 1.11, 95%cI: 1.02-1.21, P cV patients prior to the advent of directing acting anti-viral agents had a higher incidence of pre-transplant SBP than other patients on the liver transplant wait list. SBP history pre-transplant resulted in a higher rate of graft loss due to recurrent HcV infection and chronic rejection.

The detection of wheat heads in plant images is an important task for estimating pertinent wheat traits including head population density and head characteristics such as health,size,maturity stage,and the presence of *** studies have developed methods for wheat head detection from high-resolution RGB imagery based on machine learning ***,these methods have generally been calibrated and validated on limited *** variability in observational conditions,genotypic differences,development stages,and head orientation makes wheat head detection a challenge for computer ***,possible blurring due to motion or wind and overlap between heads for dense populations make this task even more *** a joint international collaborative effort,we have built a large,diverse,and well-labelled dataset of wheat images,called the Global Wheat Head Detection(GWHD)*** contains 4700 high-resolution RGB images and 190000 labelled wheat heads collected from several countries around the world at different growth stages with a wide range of *** for image acquisition,associating minimum metadata to respect FAIR principles,and consistent head labelling methods are proposed when developing new head detection *** GWHD dataset is publicly available at http://***/and aimed at developing and benchmarking methods for wheat head detection.
