Hematopoiesis is a finely tuned process that generates all blood cell types through self-renewal and differentiation, which is crucial for maintaining homeostasis. Acute infections can prompt a hematopoietic response known as emergency myelopoiesis. In this study, using a Candida albicans (C. albicans) infection model, we demonstrated for the first time that disruption of Fhl2 led to increased fungal burden,heightened inflammatory response and reduced survival rates. Impaired myeloid hematopoiesis and immune cell production were evident, as proved by the decreased numbers of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and granulocytes in the bone marrow of Fhl2-deficient mice. In conclusion, FHL2 regulated emergency myelopoiesis in response to C. albicans, affecting the host’s defense against pathogens.

Carbon nanosheets with a tunable mesopore size, large pore volume, and good electronic conductivity are synthesized via a solution-chemistry approach. In this synthesis, diaminohexane and graphene oxide （GO） are used as the structural directing agents, and a silica colloid is used as a mesopores template. Diaminohexane plays a crucial role in bridging silica colloid particles and GO, as well as initiating the polymerization of benzoxazine on the surfaces of both the GO and silica, resulting in the formation of a hybrid nanosheet polymer. The carbon nanosheets have graphene embedded in them and have several spherical mesopores with a pore volume up to 3.5 cm^3·g^-1 on their surfaces. These nuerous accessible mesopores in the carbon layers can act as reservoirs to host a high loading of active charge-storage materials with good dispersion and a uniform particle size. Compared with active materials with wide particle-size distributions, the unique proposed configuration with confined and uniform particles exhibits superior electrochemical performance during lithiation and delithiation, espedaUy during long cycles and at high rates.

This paper reports the modeling method and outcomes of mechanical performance and damage evolution of single-lap bolted composite interference-fit joints under extreme *** anisotropic continuum damage model involving thermal effects is established on continuum damage mechanics which integrates the shear nonlinearity constitutive relations characterized by Romberg-Osgood *** temperature-induced modification of thermal strains and material properties is incorporated in stress-strain analysis,extended 3 D failure criteria and exponential damage evolution *** proposed model is calibrated and employed to simulate behavior of composite joints in interference fitting,bolt preloading,thermal and bearing loading processes,during which the influence of interference-fit sizes,preload levels,laminate layups and service temperatures is thoroughly *** predicated interfacial behavior,bearing response and failure modes are in good agreement with experimental *** numerical model is even capable of reflecting some non-intuitive experimental findings such as residual stress relaxation and matrix softening at elevated temperatures.

Database applications that manage and utilize massive data must address the issues of element comparisons, the core operations in index accessing, metric computations and metric comparisons, and the core operations in result ranking. In the cloud era, to avoid private information leakage, encrypted data are subcontracted, and resolutions for the problems that arise in three operations over ciphertexts are urgently required. Indeed, it is possible to handle element comparison through order preserving encryption/encoding(OPE) or metric computation through homomorphic encryption(HE) directly over ciphertexts. Unfortunately,the simultaneous achievement of both goals(i.e., metric computation and comparison) by directly combining OPE and HE remains intractable. In this work, an improved OPE, named h OPE, is proposed to support homomorphic operations over ciphertexts in addition to comparisons. Based on h OPE, Ah OPE and Ph OPE are designed to support homomorphic addition and product, respectively. Both schemes are proved to be indistinguishable under operated and ordered chosen-plaintext attack(IND-O2CPA) secure when the adopted HE algorithm provides indistinguishable under ordered chosen-plaintext attack(IND-OCPA secure). h OPE is a general construction that supports arbitrary HE algorithms and achieves consistent security. We deploy Ah OPE and Ph OPE in practice with a trusted/untrusted third party and compare the result with the state-of-the-art methods. The results show that our presented algorithms need few interactions and fill the gap between OPE and HE.

A large number of surplus glycerol from the biodiesel production can be used as renewable feedstock to produce glycerol carbonate. In this paper, a series of guanidine-based ionic liquids were synthesized to catalyze the transesterification of glycerol and dimethyl carbonate. The tunable basicity and the anion–cation cooperative effect were responsible for the obtained results. The [TMG][TFE] showed the best activity turnover frequency(TOF)of 1754.0 h^(-1), glycerol(GL) conversion of 91.8%, glycerol carbonate(GC) selectivity of 95.5%) at 80 °C with 0.1 mol% catalyst for 30 min. The reaction mechanism of the transesterification was also proposed.

The entangled orbital angular momentum(OAM)photons propagating across a weakly turbulent atmosphere are ***,the paper uses the single-phase screen model based on the Kolmogorov theory of turbulence,and focuses on the influence of the backward scattering on OAM *** results indicate that backward scattering plays an important role in the analysis of OAM entanglement evolution in the turbulent *** cannot be negligible especially for higher-order OAM ***,when OAM mode is greater than 4,entangled photon pairs composed of higher OAM modes are not more robust in turbulence within the weak scintillation *** results will be useful in future investigations of OAM-based optical wave propagation through turbulent atmosphere.

The Electron Cyclotron Resonance(ECR)ion source is a critical device for producing highly charged ion beams in various *** the charge-state distribution of the ion beams is essential,but the manual analysis is labor-intensive and prone to inaccuracies due to impurity *** automatic spectrum recognition system based on intelligent algorithms was proposed for rapid and accurate chargestate analysis of ECR ion *** system employs an adaptive window-length Savitzky-Golay(SG)filtering algorithm,an improved automatic multiscale peak detection(AMPD)algorithm,and a greedy matching algorithm based on the relative distance to accurately match different peaks in the spectra with the corresponding charge-state ion ***,a user-friendly operator interface was developed for ease of *** testing on the online ECR ion source platform demonstrates that the system achieves high accuracy,with an average root mean square error of less than 0.1 A for identifying charge-state spectra of ECR ion ***,the system minimizes the stand-ard deviation of the first-order derivative of the smoothed signal to 81.1846 *** results indicate the capability of the designed system to identify ion beam spectra with mass numbers less than Xe,including Xe *** proposed automatic spectrum recognition system represents a significant advancement in ECR ion source analysis,offering a rapid and accurate approach for charge-state analysis while enhancing supply *** exceptional performance and successful imple-mentation of the proposed system on multiple ECR ion source platforms at IMPCAS highlight its potential for widespread adoption in ECR ion source research and applications.
