Microglia-mediated neuroinflammation is considered a pathological feature of Parkinson's *** receptor expressed on myeloid cell-1(TREM-1)can amplify the inherent immune response,and crucially,regulate *** this study,we found marked elevation of serum soluble TREM-1 in patients with Parkinson's disease that positively correlated with Parkinson's disease severity and *** a mouse model of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine-induced Parkinson's disease,we found that microglial TREM-1 expression also increased in the substantia ***,TREM-1 knockout alleviated dyskinesia in a mouse model of Parkinson's disease and reduced dopaminergic neuronal ***,TREM-1 knockout attenuated the neuroinflammatory response,dopaminergic neuronal injury,and neutrophil ***,we established an in vitro 1-methyl-4-phenyl-pyridine-induced BV2 microglia model of Parkinson's disease and treated the cells with the TREM-1 inhibitory peptide *** found that LP17 treatment reduced apoptosis of dopaminergic neurons and neutrophil ***,inhibition of neutrophil TREM-1 activation diminished dopaminergic neuronal apoptosis induced by ***-1 can activate the downstream CARD9/NF-κB proinflammatory pathway via interaction with *** findings suggest that TREM-1 may play a key role in mediating the damage to dopaminergic neurons in Parkinson's disease by regulating the interaction between microglia and peripheral neutrophils.

A Composite Elastomer with Photo-responsive Shape Memory and Programmable Hygroscopic Actuation Functionalities

Developing hydroscopic actuators with simultaneous high elasticity,shape programmability and tunable actuating behaviors are highly desired but still *** this study,we propose an orthogonal composite design to develop such a *** developed composite elastomer comprises carboxyl group-grafted polystyrene-block-poly(ethylene-co-butylene)-block-polystyrene(SEBS-g-COOH)as the elastic substrate,and a synthesized azobenzene derivative as the functional filler(Azo12).By surface treatment using acidic and base solutions,the carboxyl groups on the surface can reversibly transform into carboxylate groups,which render the composite tunable hygroscopic actuating *** another aspect,the added filler undergoes trans-to-cis isomerization when exposed to UV light irradiation,leading to liquefaction of the crystalline aggregates formed by Azo12 *** liquefied Azo12 molecules can autonomously resotre their trans form and reform the crystalline *** reversible change in crystralline structure is utilized to realize the shape memory property,and 5 wt%of Azo12addition is adequate for the composite to exhibit photo-responsive shape memory behavior without compromising much of the *** regualtion of external geometry by shape memory effect is effective in altering the actuating *** proposed method can be extend to designing different composites with the demonstrated functionalities.

Force model in electrostatic atomization minimum quantity lubrication milling GH4169 and performance evaluation

The nickel-based high-temperature alloy GH4169 is the material of choice for manufacturing critical components in aeroengines,and electrostatic atomization minimum quantity lubrication(EMQL)milling represents a fundamental machining process for ***,the effects of electric field parameters,jet parameters,nozzle position,and milling parameters on milling performance remain unclear,which constrains the broad application of EMQL in aerospace *** study evaluated the milling performance of EMQL on nickel-based alloys using soybean oil as the lubrication *** revealed that compared with conventional pneumatic atomization MQL milling,EMQL reduced the milling force by 15.2%-15.9%,lowered the surface roughness by 30.9%-54.2%,decreased the average roughness spacing by 47.4%-58.3%,and decreased the coefficient of friction and the specific energy of cutting by 55%and 19.6%,*** optimization experiments using orthogonal arrays demonstrated that air pressure most significantly affected the milling force and specific energy of cutting,with a contribution rate of 22%,whereas voltage had the greatest effect on workpiece surface roughness,contributing 36.71%.Considering the workpiece surface morphology and the potential impact of droplet drift on environmental and health safety,the optimal parameter combination identified were a flow rate of 80 mL/h,an air pressure of 0.1 MPa,a voltage of 30 kV,a nozzle incidence angle of 35°,an elevation angle of 30°,and a target distance of 40 *** research aimed to provide technical insights for improving the surface integrity of aerospace materials that are difficult to machine during cutting operations.

Melamine formaldehyde foam(MFF)generates many poisonous chemicals through the traditional recycling methods for organic resin ***,a high MFF degradation ratio of ca.97 wt.%was achieved under the mild conditions(160℃)in a NaOH–H2O system with ammelide and ammeline as the main degradation *** alkaline solvent had an obvious corrosion effect for MFF,as indicated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The reaction process and products distribution were studied by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and ^(13)C nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR).Besides,the MFF degradation products that have the similar chemical structures and bonding performances to those of melamine can be directly used as the raw material for synthesis of melamine urea-formaldehyde resins(MUFs).Moreover,the degradation system demonstrated here showed the high degradation efﬁciency after reusing for 7 *** degradation process generated few harmful pollutants and no pre-or post-treatments were required,which proves its feasibility in the safe removal or recovery of waste MFF.

Microscopic and spectroscopic analysis of atmospheric iron-containing single particles in Lhasa,Tibet

Preventive effect of kiwi berry(Actinidia arguta)on loperamide-induced constipation

Shikimic acid accelerates phase change and flowering in Chinese jujube

The juvenile-to-adult phase change with first flowering as the indicator plays a crucial role in the lifecycle of fruit trees. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying phase change in fruit trees remain largely unknown. Shikimic acid (ShA) pathway is a main metabolic pathway closely related to the synthesis of hormones and many important secondary metabolites participating in plant phase change. So,whether ShA regulates phase change in plants is worth clarifying. Here, the distinct morphological characteristics and the underlying mechanisms of phase change in jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill.), an important fruit tree native to China with nutritious fruit and outstanding tolerance abiotic stresses, were clarified. A combined transcriptome and metabolome analysis found that ShA is positively involved in jujube(Yuhong’×Xing 16’) phase change. The genes in the upstream of ShA synthesis pathway (ZjDAHPS, ZjDHQS and ZjSDH), the contents of ShA and the downstream secondary metabolites like phenols were significantly upregulated in the phase change period. Further, the treatment of spraying exogenous ShA verified that ShA at a very low concentration (60 mg·L^(-1)) can substantially speed up the phase change and flowering of jujube and other tested plants including Arabidopsis, tomato and wheat. The exogenous ShA (60 mg·L^(-1)) treatment in jujube seedlings could increase the accumulation of endogenous ShA, enhance leaf photosynthesis and the synthesis of phenols especially flavonoids and phenolic acids, and promote the expression of genes (ZjCOs, ZjNFYs and ZjPHYs) involved in flowering pathway. Basing on above results, we put forward a propose for the underlying mechanism of ShA regulating phase change, and a hypothesis that ShA could be considered a phytohormone-like substance because it is endogenous, ubiquitous, movable and highly efficient at very low concentrations. Multi-Sensor Fusion Adaptive Estimation for Nonlinear Under-observed System with Multiplicative Noise

The adaptive fusion estimation problem was studied for the multi-sensor nonlinear under-observed systems with multiplicative noise. A one-step predictor with state update equations was designed for the virtual state with virtual noise first of all. An extended incremental Kalman filter(EIKF) was then proposed for the nonlinear under-observed systems. Furthermore, an adaptive filtering method was given for optimization. The fusion adaptive incremental Kalman filter weighted by scalar was finally proposed. The comparison analysis was made to verify the optimization of the state estimation using adaptive filtering method in the filtering process.
