Due to its inherent characteristics of flexible mobility,unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) is exploited as a cost-efficient mobile platform to assist remote data collection in the 5 th generation or beyond the 5 th generation(5 G/B5 G) wireless *** with static terrestrial base stations,the line-of-sight(LoS) link between UAVs and ground nodes are stronger due to their flexibility in three-dimensional(3 D) *** to the fact that flexible mobility of UAVs requires high propulsion power,the limited on-board energy constrains the performance of UAV-assisted data *** is worth noting that UAVs can be categorized into rotary-wing UAVs and fixed-wing UAVs,either has its own characteristics in propulsion energy *** this article,a comprehensive review of state-of-art studies on trajectory design schemes for rotary-wing UAVs,as well as aerodynamic-aware attitude control strategies for fixed-wing UAVs was ***,two case studies for energy-efficient data collection using rotary-wing UAVs and fixed-wing UAVs were presented,*** specifically,an age-energy aware data collection scheme was demonstrated for rotary-wing UAVs to optimize the timeliness of collected ***,an aerodynamic-aware attitude control strategy for fixed-wing UAVs was also demonstrated under data collection requirements.

Considering the significant importance in both ecological and environmental fields, converting nitrogen oxide(NO_(x), especially NO) into value-added NH3or harmless N2lies in the core of research over the past decades. Exploring catalyst for related gas molecular activation and highly efficient reaction systems operated under low temperature or even mild conditions are the key issues. Enormous efforts have been devoted to NO removal by utilizing various driving forces, such as thermal, electrical or solar energy,which shine light on the way to achieve satisfying conversion efficiency. Herein, we will review the stateof-the-art catalysts for NO removal driven by the above-mentioned energies, including a comprehensive introduction and discussion on the pathway and mechanism of each reaction, and the recent achievements of catalysts on each aspect. Particularly, the progress of NO removal by environmentally friendly photocatalysis and electrocatalysis methods will be highlighted. The challenges and opportunities in the future research on the current topic will be discussed as well.

Spatial-temporal characteristics of drought detected from meteorological data with high resolution in Shaanxi Province, China

The spatial pattern of meteorological factors cannot be accurately simulated by using observations from meteorological stations(OMS) that are distributed sparsely in complex terrain. It is expected that the spatial-temporal characteristics of drought in regions with complex terrain can be better represented by meteorological data with the high spatial-temporal resolution and accuracy. In this study, Standard Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index(SPEI) calculated with meteorological factors extracted from ITPCAS(China Meteorological Forcing Dataset produced by the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences) was applied to identify the spatial-temporal characteristics of drought in Shaanxi Province of China, during the period of 1979–2016. Drought areas detected by SPEI calculated with data from ITPCAS(SPEI-ITPCAS) on the seasonal scale were validated by historical drought records from the Chinese Meteorological Disaster Canon-Shaanxi, and compared with drought areas detected by SPEI calculated with data from OMS(SPEI-OMS). Drought intensity, trend and temporal ranges for mutations of SPEI-ITPCAS were analyzed by using the cumulative drought intensity(CDI) index and the Mann-Kendall test. The results indicated that drought areas detected from SPEI-ITPCAS were closer to the historical drought records than those detected from SPEI-OMS. Severe and exceptional drought events with SPEI-ITPCAS lower than –1.0 occurred most frequently in summer, followed by spring. There was a general drying trend in spring and summer in Shaanxi Province and a significant wetting trend in autumn and winter in northern Shaanxi Province. On seasonal and annual scales, the regional and temporal ranges for mutations of SPEI-ITPCAS were different and most mutations occurred before the year 1990 in most regions of Shaanxi Province. The results reflect the response of different regions of Shaanxi Province to climate change, which will help to manage regional water resources

Invasive exotic species pose a growing threat to the economy,public health,and ecological integrity of nations worldwide. Explaining and predicting the spatial distribution of invasive exotic species is of great importance to prevention and early warning efforts. We are investigating the potential distribution of invasive exotic species,the environmental factors that influence these distributions,and the ability to predict them using statistical and information-theoretic approaches. For some species,detailed presence/absence occurrence data are available,allowing the use of a variety of standard statistical techniques. However,for most species,absence data are not available. Presented with the challenge of developing a model based on presence-only information,we developed an improved logistic regres-sion approach using Information Theory and Frequency Statistics to produce a relative suitability map. This paper generated a variety of distributions of ragweed(Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.) from logistic regression models applied to herbarium specimen location data and a suite of GIS layers including climatic,topographic,and land cover information. Our logistic regression model was based on Akaike's Information Criterion(AIC) from a suite of ecologically reasonable predictor variables. Based on the results we provided a new Frequency Statistical method to compartmentalize habitat-suitability in the native range. Finally,we used the model and the compartmentalized criterion developed in native ranges to “project” a potential distribution onto the exotic ranges to build habitat-suitability maps.

At present,the flow table of the SDN switch is stored in the costly Ternary Content Addressable Memory(TCAM)*** to the cost problem,the number of flow tables that the SDN switch can store is extremely limited,which is far less than the number of traffic,so it is prone to overflow problem,and leads to network *** has become a bottleneck in restricting the processing capacity of the data center,and will become a weak point focused by *** this paper,we propose an algorithm for the Alarm Switch Remove(ASR)that fully loads the flow table space in SDN,and further put forward an integrated load balancing scheme in ***,we use Mininet to verify that the scheme can ease the SDN switch flow table overflow problem and increase network throughput.

Androgenetic alopecia(AGA)is a chronic and progressive form of hair loss characterized by vascular degeneration in the perifollicular microenvironment,leading to cell apoptosis and eventual loss of hair follicles(HFs).Traditional therapeutic formulations,such as Minoxidil(MXD)tincture,have limitations in reshaping the perifollicular microenvironment and exhibit limited ***,we report a multi-synergistic therapeutic platform for high-performance hair regeneration *** platform combines microneedle(MN)patches loaded with MXD-encapsulated nanostructured lipid carriers(MXD-NLC-MNs)and cold atmospheric plasma(CAP).The MNs’mechanical strength enables efficient transdermal delivery of MXD to the targeted dermal papilla cells,promoting cell ***,in collaboration with MXD,the mechanical stimulation exerted by MN application synergistically upregulates the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor,leading to ***,the transient microchannels in the skin created by MNs facilitate the transdermal delivery of CAPgenerated nitric oxide(NO)to the sites of HF lesions,whereby the synergistic interaction between MXD and NO boosts perifollicular ***,the perifollicular microenvironment can be effectively reshaped to accelerate hair regeneration in AGA murine *** multi-synergistic combination therapy strategy would hold great promise for effectively treating AGA and promoting hair regrowth.

BACKGROUND One of the most common complications following surgery for midshaft clavicle fracture is nonunion/delayed *** shock wave therapy(ESWT)is an alternative to promote new bone formation without surgical *** date,no literature has reported low-intensity ESWT(LI-ESWT)in delayed union of midshaft clavicle *** SUMMARY We reported a 66-year-old Chinese amateur cyclist with clavicle delayed union treated with 10 sessions of LI-ESWT(radial,0.057 mJ/mm^(2),3 Hz,3000 shocks).No anesthetics were applied,and no side effects *** the 4 mo and 7 mo follow-ups,the patient achieved clinical and radiographical recovery,*** In conclusion,our findings indicated that LI-ESWT could be a good option for treating midshaft clavicular delayed union.

Chemical warfare agents represent a severe threat to mankind and their efficient decontamination is a global ***,traditional disposal strategies have limitations,including high energy consumption,use of aggressive reagents and generation of toxic ***,inspired by the compartmentalized architecture and detoxification mechanism of bacterial microcompartments,we constructed oil-in-water Pickering emulsion droplets stabilized by hydrogen-bonded organic framework immobilized cascade enzymes for decontaminating mustard gas simulant(2-chloroethyl ethyl sulfide,CEES)under sweet *** exemplified droplet systems were developed with two-enzyme(glucose oxidase/chloroperoxidase)and threeenzyme(invertase/glucose oxidase/chloroperoxidase)cascades,both achieving over 6-fold enhancement in decontamination efficiency compared with free enzymes and>99% selectivity towards non-toxic *** found that the favored mass transfer of sugars and CEES from their respective phases to approach the cascade enzymes located at the droplet surface and the facilitated substrate channeling between proximally immobilized enzymes were key factors in augmenting the decontamination *** importantly,the robustness of immobilized enzymes enabled easy reproduction of both the droplet formation and detoxification performance over 10 cycles,following long-term storage and in far-field locations.
