Petrogenesis of the Dengying Formation Dolomite in Northeast Sichuan Basin,SW China:Constraints from Carbon-Oxygen Isotopic and Trace Elemental Data

The widespread dolomite of the Sinian Dengying Formation in the Sichuan Basin(China)serves as one of the most important oil and gas reservoir rocks of the *** WT1,as an exploration well,is recently drilled in the Kaijiang County,northeastern Sichuan Basin(SW China),and it drills through the Dengying Formation dolomite at the depth interval of 7500–7580 *** this study,samples are systematically collected from the cores of that interval,followed by new analyses of carbon-oxygen isotope,major elements,trace elements,rare earth elements(REEs)and *** Dengying Formation dolomites of Well WT1 haveδ13C values of 0.37‰to 2.91‰andδ18O values of-5.72‰to-2.73‰,indicating that the dolomitization fluid is derived from contemporary seawater in the near-surface environment,rather than the burial *** on the REE patterns of EPMA-based in-situ data,we recognized the seawater-sourced components,the mixedsourced components and the terrigenous-sourced components,indicating the marine origin of the dolomite with detrital contamination and diagenetic ***,high Al,Th,and Zr contents indicate significant detrital contamination derived from clay and quartz minerals,and high Sr/Ba and Sr/Cu ratios imply a relatively dry depositional environment with extremely high seawater salinity,intensive evaporation,and strong influences of terrigenous sediment.

城市旅游背景下,街道是游客情感体验的空间载体,但街道及景观特征对游客情感的影响机制尚不明确。该文基于具身理论,以“身体—环境—情感”融合互动为逻辑线索,通过一项2(游览方式:模拟、实地)×3(街道类型:历史、商业、公园)现场随机实验,探究城市旅游街道场景中的游客情感体验。结果发现:(1)城市街道游览能引起游客愉悦度、唤醒度和皮肤电导水平(SCL)在时间层面的变化;(2)游客在历史街道、公园街道和商业街道实地游览后愉悦度、唤醒度均高于模拟游览;(3)单一的城市街道景观客观特征不能引起游客愉悦度、唤醒度和SCL变化,而公园街道、历史街道景观感知特征与游客愉悦度、唤醒度、SCL变化存在相关性。

Nonlinear Coupled Dynamics Analysis of A Truss Spar Platform

Accurate prediction of the offshore structure motion response and associate mooring line tension is important in both technical applications and scientific research. In our study, a truss spar platform, operated in Gulf of Mexico, is numerically simulated and analyzed by an in-house numerical code ＇COUPLE＇. Both the platform motion responses and associated mooring line tension are calculated and investigated through a time domain nonlinear coupled dynamic analysis. Satisfactory agreement between the simulation and corresponding field measurements is in general reached, indicating that the numerical code can be used to conduct the time-domain analysis of a truss spar interacting with its mooting and riser system. Based on the comparison between linear and nonlinear results, the relative importance of nonlinearity in predicting the platform motion response and mooring line tensions is assessed and presented. Through the coupled and quasi-static analysis, the importance of the dynamic coupling effect between the platform hull and the mooting/riser system in predicting the mooting line tension and platform motions is quantified. These results may provide essential information pertaining to facilitate the numerical simulation and design of the large scale offshore structures.

Penile metastasis from colon cancer with BRAFV600E mutation treated with BRAF/MEK-targeted therapy plus cetuximab: A case report

BACKGROUND The incidence of colon cancer has been progressively increasing over time, whereas penile metastasis of colon cancer has remained exceedingly uncommon. Since the prognosis for colon cancer with BRAFV600E mutation is relatively unfavorable, further exploration and investigation are still required to develop treatment strategies for such rare cases. CASE SUMMARY About one year after surgery and chemotherapy, a 50-year-old patient with sigmoid colon cancer developed a mass at the base of the patient’s penis, accompanied by severe tenderness and pain during urination. With disease progression, multiple metastatic nodules also emerged in other regions of the penis, including the coronal sulcus. The nodules located in the coronal sulcus were excised for histopathological examination. The histopathological findings revealed that the nodules were metastases originating from the sigmoid colon cancer, with a BRAF V600E mutation detected. This prompted a modification of the therapy regimen of cetuximab, dabrafenib and trametinib, which effectively held back the progression of penile metastasis in the patient. CONCLUSION Combining the BRAF/MEK-targeted therapy with cetuximab demonstrates a favorable therapeutic response in BRAFV600E-mutated colon cancer with penile metastasis. © The Author(s) 2025. Terahertz wave generation from ring-Airy beam induced plasmas and remote detection by terahertz-radiation- enhanced-emission-of-fluorescence: a review

With the increasing demands for remote spectroscopy in many fields ranging from homeland security to environmental monitoring, terahertz (THz) spectroscopy has drawn a significant amount of attention because of its capability to acquire chemical spectral signatures non-invasively. However, advanced THz remote sensing techniques are obstructed by quite a few factors, such as THz waves being strongly absorbed by water vapor in the ambient air, difficulty to generate intense broadband coherent THz source remotely, and hard to transmit THz waveform information remotely without losing the signal to noise ratio, etc. In this review, after introducing different THz air-photonics techniques to overcome the difficulties of THz remote sensing, we focus mainly on theoretical and experimental methods to improve THz generation and detection performance for the purpose of remote sensing through tailoring the generation and detection media, air-plasma. For the THz generation part, auto-focusing ring-Airy beam was introduced to enhance the THz wave generation yield from two-color laser induced air plasma. By artificially modulated exotic wave packets, it is exhibited that abruptly auto-focusing beam induced air-plasma can give an up to 5.3-time-enhanced THz wave pulse energy compared to normal Gaussian beam induced plasma under the same conditions. At the same time, a red shift on the THz emission spectrum is also observed. A simulation using an interference model to qualitatively describe these behaviors has be developed. For the THz detection part, the results of THz remote sensing at 30 m using THz-radiation-enhanced-emission- of-fluorescence (THz-REEF) technique are demonstrated, which greatly improved from the 10 m demonstration last reported. The THz-REEF technique in the counter-propagation geometry was explored, which is proved to be more practical for stand-off detections than co-propagation geometry.
