For a polymer/polymer dismissible blend with two crystallizable components,the crystallization behavior of different components and the reciprocal influences between different crystals are interesting and important,but did not investigate in *** this study,the L-poly(lactic acid)/polypropylene(PLLA/PP)blends with different weight ratios were prepared by melt mixing and the crystallization behavior of the blends were *** showed that the crystalline structures of PLLA and PP were not altered by the *** the crystallization of PLLA,both the diffusion of chain segments and crystallization rate were enhanced under the existence of PP *** the crystallization of PP,its crystallization rate was depressed under the existence of amorphous PLLA molecular *** the PP crystallized from the existence of PLLA crystals,although the diffusion rate of PP was reduced by PLLA crystals,the nucleation positions were obviously enhanced,which accelerated the formation of PP *** investigation would supply more basic data for the application of PLLA/PP blend.

Performance of double-arch tunnels under internal BLEVE

Double-arch tunnels,as one of the popular forms of tunnels,might be exposed to boiling liquid expanding vapour explosions(BLEVEs)associated with transported liquified petroleum gas(LPG),which could cause damage to the tunnel and even catastrophic collapse of the tunnel in extreme ***,very limited study has investigated the performance of double-arch tunnels when exposed to internal BLEVEs and in most analyses of tunnel responses to accidental *** TNT-equivalence method was used to approximate the explosion load,which may lead to inaccurate tunnel response *** study numerically investigates the response of typical double-arch tunnels to an internal BLEVE resulting from the instantaneous rupture of a 20 m^(3) LPG *** of various factors,including in-situ stresses,BLEVE locations,and lining configurations on tunnel responses are *** results show that the double-arch tunnels at their early-operation ages are more vulnerable to severe damage when exposed to the BLEVE due to the low action of in-situ stress of rock mass on the response of early-age *** is also found that directing the LPG tank to different driving lanes inside tunnels can affect the BLEVE-induced tunnel response more significantly than varying the configurations of tunnel ***,installing section-steel arches in the mid-wall can effectively improve the blast resistance of the double-arch tunnels against the internal *** addition,the prediction models based on multi-variate nonlinear regressions and machine learning methods are developed to predict the BLEVE-induced damage levels of the double-arch tunnels without and with section-steel arches.

The data-driven transient stability assessment(TSA)of power systems can predict online real-time prediction by learning the temporal features before and after ***,the accuracy of the assessment is limited by the quality of the data and has weak *** on this,this paper proposes a method for TSA of power systems based on an improved extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)***,the gradient detection method is employed to remove noise interference while maintaining the original time series *** this basis,a focal loss function is introduced to guide the training of theXGBoostmodel,enhancing the deep exploration of minority class samples to improve the accuracy of the model ***,to improve the generalization ability of the evaluation model,a transfer learning method based on model parameters and sample augmentation is *** simulation analysis on the IEEE 39-bus system demonstrates that the proposed method,compared to the traditional machine learning-based transient stability assessment approach,achieves an average improvement of 2.16%in evaluation ***,under scenarios involving changes in topology structure and operating conditions,the accuracy is enhanced by 3.65%and 3.11%,***,the model updating efficiency is enhanced by 14–15 times,indicating the model’s transferable and adaptive capabilities across multiple scenarios.

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)emerge as the most promising photovoltaics(PV)for their high performance and potential convenient cost-effective production routes comparing to the sophomore PV *** printed PSCs with simplified device architecture and fabrication procedures could further enhance the competitive strength of PSC *** this work,we present an in-situ defect passivation(ISDP)assisted full-printing of high performance formamidine-lead bromide(FAPbBr_(3))*** three rapid printing steps are involved for electron transporting layer(ETL),perovskite and carbon to form a complete solar cell on the low-cost fluorine-doped tin oxide(FTO)***-chain polymer monomethyl ether polyethylene glycol is particularly utilized as the ISDP passivator,leading to conformal coating on the rough FTO and defect passivation for both ETL and perovskite during printing.A high efficiency of 10.85%(certified 10.14%)and a high V_(oc)up to 1.57 V are achieved for the printed *** unencapsulated PSCs maintain above 90%of the initial efficiency after continuously heating at 85℃for 1000 h and over 80%of the efficiency after the maximum power point tracking for 3500 *** fully printed semitransparent PSCs with carbon grids(CGs)show average visible light transmittance over 33%and an efficiency of 8.81%.

In Fe-based amorphous-/nanocrystalline ribbons,the uniformization and refinement of a-Fe grains are key aspects for optimizing their soft magnetic and mechanical ***,the Fe–P–C–B nanocrystalline alloy system was selected for *** produced as-spun ribbons with pre-existing nanocrystals through melt-quenching and then obtained a well-distributed a-Fe nanocrystalline structure through annealing below the first crystallization onset temperature （633 K）resulting in excellent magnetic properties (saturation magnetization of 1.65 T and coercivity of 1.6 A·m-1)ultra-wide annealing temperature window （from 613 to 733 K）,and extremely high annealing stability （up to 480 min at 633 K）.Furthermore,we propose a new in situ two-step mechanism for the uniformization of a-Fe nanocrystals,which is separately induced by the decomposition of the Au–P clusters and the pre-existing a-Fe nanocrystals during *** work underscores the crucial significance of micro-alloying via metastable clusters primarily influenced by metal-phosphide interactions in the process of refining a-Fe ***,i introduces a new principle for optimizing the comprehensive properties of Fe-based amorphous/nanocrystalline alloys.

The potential for reducing greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions and energy consumption in wastewater treatment can be realized through intelligent control,with machine learning(ML)and multimodality emerging as a promising ***,we introduce an ML technique based on multimodal strategies,focusing specifically on intelligent aeration control in wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs).The generalization of the multimodal strategy is demonstrated on eight ML *** results demonstrate that this multimodal strategy significantly enhances model indicators for ML in environmental science and the efficiency of aeration control,exhibiting exceptional performance and *** random forest with visual models achieves the highest accuracy in forecasting aeration quantity in multimodal models,with a mean absolute percentage error of 4.4%and a coefficient of determination of *** testing in a full-scale plant reveals that the multimodal model can reduce operation costs by 19.8%compared to traditional fuzzy control *** potential application of these strategies in critical water science domains is *** foster accessibility and promote widespread adoption,the multimodal ML models are freely available on GitHub,thereby eliminating technical barriers and encouraging the application of artificial intelligence in urban wastewater treatment.

Silicon suboxide(SiO_(x),x≈1)is promising in serving as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries with high capacity,but it has a low initial Coulombic efficiency(ICE)due to the irreversible formation of lithium silicates during the first *** this work,we modify SiO_(x) by solid-phase Mg doping reaction using low-cost Mg powder as a reducing *** show that Mg reduces SiO_(2) in SiO_(x) to Si and forms MgSiO_(3) or Mg_(2)SiO_(4).The MgSiO_(3) or Mg_(2)SiO_(4) are mainly distributed on the surface of SiO_(x),which suppresses the irreversible lithium-ion loss and enhances the ICE of SiO_(x).However,the formation of MgSiO_(3) or Mg_(2)SiO_(4) also sacrifices the capacity of SiO_(x).Therefore,by controlling the reaction process between Mg and SiO_(x),we can tune the phase composition,proportion,and morphology of the Mg-doped SiO_(x) and manipulate the *** obtain samples with a capacity of 1226 mAh g^(–1) and an ICE of 84.12%,which show significant improvement over carbon-coated SiO_(x) without Mg *** the synergistical modification of both Mg doping and prelithiation,the capacity of SiO_(x) is further increased to 1477 mAh g^(–1) with a minimal compromise in the ICE(83.77%).

This study focused on producing metal matrix composite(MMC)coatings on Ti–6Al–4V alloy through laser surface alloying using a novel combination of Inconel 625 and SiC precursor *** ratios of alloying powders were examined to evaluate surface properties such as microhardness,wear resistance,and friction coefficient,along with analyzing the phase composition and microstructure of the *** in situ synthesized MMC coatings exhibited the presence ofα-Ti,NiTi,NiTi_(2),and TiC ***,Ti_(5)Si_(3)andα-Ti/Ti_(5)Si_(3)eutectic structures were observed when the SiC content exceeded 20%.In comparison to the titanium substrate,the MMC coating significantly enhanced microhardness by over threefold and reduced wear by 95%.However,it was crucial to carefully select the appropriate combination of alloying powders to avoid a substantial decrease in friction performance and excessive formation of *** a comparative analysis of experimental results,the optimal precursor material composition was identified as 85%Inconel 625 and 15%*** study demonstrated the effective utilization of Inconel 625 and SiC alloying materials to enhance the surface properties of titanium alloys,thereby expanding their application in challenging environments.

β-Glucan Improves Protective Qi Status in Adults with Protective Qi Deficiency——A Randomized,Placebo-Controlled,and Double-Blinded Trial

Objective:To test the hypothesis thatβ-glucan enhances protective qi(PQi),an important Chinese medicine(CM)concept which stipulates that a protective force circulates throughout the body surface and works as the first line of defense against"external pernicious influences".Methods:A total of 138 participants with PQi deficiency(PQD)were randomized to receiveβ-glucan(200 mg daily)or placebo for 12 ***’PQi status was assessed every 2 weeks via conventional diagnosis and a standardized protocol from which a PQD severity and risk score was *** of participants’immune and general health status were also monitored,including upper respiratory tract infection(URTI),saliva secretory Ig A(s Ig A),and self-reported measures of physical and mental health(PROMIS).Results:PQi status was not significantly different between theβ-glucan and placebo treatment groups at baseline but improved significantly in theβ-glucan(***)group in a time-dependent *** intergroup differences[95%confidence interval(CI)]in severity score(scale:1-5),risk score(scale:0-1),and proportion of PQD participants(%)at finish line was 0.49(0.35-0.62),0.48(0.35-0.61),and 0.36(0.25-0.47),***,β-glucan improved URTI symptom(scale:1-9)and PROMIS physical(scale:16.2-67.7)and mental(scale:21.2-67.6)scores by a magnitude(95%CI)of 1.0(0.21-1.86),5.7(2.33-9.07),and 3.0(-0.37-6.37),respectively,over ***:β-Glucan ameliorates PQi in PQD *** using stringent evidence-based methodologies,our study demonstrated that Western medicine-derived remedies,such asβ-glucan,can be employed to advance CM therapeutics.(Clinical *** registry:NCT03782974)

The deuterodifluoromethyl group CF_(2)D combines the structural features of CF_(3) and CD_(3) groups,finding wide applications in diverse pharmaceutical *** this work,the electrochemical monodeuterodefluorination of Ar-CF_(3) to Ar-CF_(2)D is achieved with an unreported deuterium atom transfer-coupled electron transfer pathway using D_(2)O as the only D source for the first time.A series of Ar-CF_(3) substances,including commercial pharmaceuticals,were converted to corresponding CF_(2)D products in up to 91% yield and 97% D-incorporation.A variety of functional groups,including pyridine,pyrrole,furan,thiophene,borate,thio ether,amine,amide,sulfonamide,and halide,are well tolerated in this protocol.t-BuOLi was an essential reagent to achieve chemoselective mono-defluorination.
