Non-liner wave equation inversion,wavelet analysis and artificial neural networks were used to obtain stratum parameters and the distribution of thin coal seams.The lithology of the water-bearing/resisting layer in the Quaternary system was also predicted.The implementation process included calculating the well log parameters,stratum contrasting the seismic data and the well logs,and extracting,studying and predicting seismic attributes.Seismic inversion parameters,including the layer velocity and wave impedance,were calculated and effectively used for prediction and analysis.Prior knowledge and seismic interpretation were used to remedy a dearth of seismic data during the inversion procedure.This enhanced the stability of the inversion method.Non-linear seismic inversion and artificial neural networks were used to interpret coal seismic lithology and to study the water-bearing/resisting layer in the Quaternary system.Interpretation of the 1～2 m thin coal seams,and also of the water-bearing/resisting layer in the Quaternary system,is provided.The upper mining limit can be lifted from 60 m to 45 m.The predictions show that this method can provide reliable data useful for thin coal seam exploitation and for lifting the upper mining limit,which is one of the principles of green mining.

We applied the reflectivity method and the constrained sparse spike inverse modeling(CSSI) method to the interpretation of coal field lithologic seismic data.After introducing the principles of these two methods we discuss some parameters of a geological model involving possible gas enriched areas or intruded igneous rock.The geological model was constructed and a 60 Hz seismic response profile was obtained looking for igneous rock intrusion and coked areas of the coal seam using the reflectivity method.Starting from synthesized logging data from two wells and a synthesized seismic wavelet we calibrated the model to show accurate strata.Finally,we predicted the lithology within a 10 m igneous rock area,a 3 m coal seam area,and a coked area using the CSSI technique.The results show that the CSSI technique can identify hard to recognize lithologic features that normal profil-ing methods might miss.It can quantitatively analyze and evaluate the intrusive area,the coked area,and the gas-enriched area.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)are widely used due to their effectiveness in treating various tumors.Immune-related adverse events(irAEs)are defined as adverse effects resulting from ICI treatment.Gastrointestinal irAEs are a common type of irAEs characterized by intestinal side effects,such as diarrhea and colitis,which may lead to the cessation of ICIs.Although irAE gastritis is rarely reported,it may lead to serious complications such as gastrorrhagia.Furthermore,irAE gastritis is often difficult to identify early due to its diverse symptoms.Although steroid hormones and immunosuppressants are commonly used to reverse irAEs,the best regimen and dosage for irAE gastritis remains uncertain.In addition,the risk of recurrence of irAE gastritis after the reuse of ICIs should be considered.In this editorial,strategies such as early identification,pathological diagnosis,mana-gement interventions,and immunotherapy rechallenge are discussed to enable clinicians to better manage irAE gastritis and improve the prognosis of these patients.

A numerical model for simulating the dambreak problems was presented. The model was based on a high-resolution semi-discrete central-upwind difference scheme. In order to reduce spurious oscillation, the uniformly non-oscillatory limiter was employed. A third-order total variation diminishing Runge-Kutta method is used for time integration. The main feature of the presented method is its simplicity. It requires no Riemann solvers, no flux splitting and no flux limiter. It is explicit and does not require dimensional splitting for two dimensions. The Simpson quadrature rule was employed to compute the source term. To verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method, the 1D dambreak, circular dam-break and partial dam-break problems were simulated. The results are shown to be in good agreement with analytical solution and numerical results obtained by other methods.

In this study,we reconstruct theγ-photon energy spectrum,which is in good agreement with the experimental data of ^(86)Kr+^(12)C at E/A=44 Me V within the framework of the modified EQMD model.The directed and elliptic flows of free protons and direct photons were investigated by considering theα-clustering structure of ^(12)C.Compared with free protons,direct photon flows provide clearer information about the early stage of a nuclear reaction.The difference in the collective flows between different configurations of ^(12)C is observed in this study.This indicates that the collective flows of direct photons are sensitive to the initial configuration.Therefore,theγbremsstrahlung process might be taken as an alternative probe to investigate theα-clustering structure in a light nucleus from heavy-ion collisions within the Fermienergy region.

In this work,we give some criteria of the weakly compact sets and a representation theorem of Riesz's type in Musielak sequence spaces using the ideas and techniques of sequence spaces and Musielak function.Finally,as an immediate consequence of the criteria considered in this paper,the criteria of the weakly compact sets of Orlicz sequence spaces are deduced.

A numerical two-dimensional shallow water method was based on method for solving the equations was presented. This the third-order genuinely multidimensional semi-discrete central scheme for spatial discretization and the optimal third-order Strong Stability Preserving （SSP） Runge-Kutta method for time integration. The third-order compact Central Weighted Essentially Non-Oscillatory （CWENO） reconstruction was adopted to guarantee the non-oscillatory behavior of the presented scheme and improve the resolution. Two kinds of source terms were considered in this work. They were evaluated using different approaches. The resulting scheme does not require Riemann solvers or characteristic decomposition, hence it retains all the attractive features of central schemes such as simplicity and high resolution. To evaluate the performance of the presented scheme, several numerical examples were tested. The results demonstrate that our method is efficient, stable and robust.

Using the efficient,space-saving,and flexible supercritical carbon dioxide(sCO_(2)) Brayton cycle is a promising approach for improving the performance of nuclear-powered ships.The purpose of this paper is to design and compare sCO_(2) cycle power systems suitable for nuclear-powered ships.Considering the characteristics of nuclear-powered ships,this paper uses different indicators to comprehensively evaluate the efficiency,cost,volume,and partial load performance of several nuclear-powered sCO_(2) cycles.Four load-following strategies are also designed and compared.The results show that the partial cooling cycle is most suitable for nuclear-powered ships because it offers both high thermal efficiency and low volume and cost,and can maintain relatively high thermal efficiency at partial loads.Additionally,the new load-following strategy that adjusts the turbine speed can keep the compressor away from the surge line,making the cycle more flexible and efficient compared to traditional inventory and turbine bypass strategies.

Background This study investigated the relationship between the height of osteotomy and the correction of the kyphotic angle during posterior closing wedge osteotmy with instrumentation and the spinal osteotomy with cage inserting into the intervertebral gap and closing posteriorly by a single posterior approach in thoracolumbar kyphosis, and using this relationship as the basis of the preoperative design. Methods From April 1996 to June 2007, 30 thoracolumbar kyphosis patients with complete medical records and clear X-ray photograms have undergone operation. Of these 30 cases, 16 cases underwent posterior closing wedge osteotmy with instrumentation while the height of the osteotomy and the correction of the angle have been measured; 14 cases underwent spinal osteotomy with cage inserting into the intervertebral gap and closing posteriorly by a single posterior approach while the height of the osteotomy, the height and the place of the cage and the correction of the angle were also measured. A simple geometrical model was simulated to calculate the relationship between the height of the oeteotomy and the correction of the angle and these results are finally compared with the data coming from the actual measuring by the Wilcoxon statistic method. Results The distribution of data from the 16 cases by posterior closing wedge osteotomy with instrumentation was as such： 9 male and 7 female, the mean age was 49.2 years （range 38--70）, the kyphosis improved from an average of 30° （range 15°--45°） preoperatively to 4° （range -26°--30°） postoperatively, the kyphosis was corrected on average 2.5-0 per 1 mm in the height of the osteotomy. The results from the simple geometrical model were that the mean of the correction of the angle per 1 mm was 2.2°. As a result, there was no significant difference （P 〉0.05） when comparing the measurement collected with the result simulated from the geometric model.
