Edge-aware Feature Aggregation Network for Polyp Segmentation

Precise polyp segmentation is vital for the early diagnosis and prevention of colorectal cancer(CRC)in clinical ***,due to scale variation and blurry polyp boundaries,it is still a challenging task to achieve satisfactory segmentation performance with different scales and *** this study,we present a novel edge-aware feature aggregation network(EFA-Net)for polyp segmentation,which can fully make use of cross-level and multi-scale features to enhance the performance of polyp ***,we first present an edge-aware guidance module(EGM)to combine the low-level features with the high-level features to learn an edge-enhanced feature,which is incorporated into each decoder unit using a layer-by-layer ***,a scale-aware convolution module(SCM)is proposed to learn scale-aware features by using dilated convolutions with different ratios,in order to effectively deal with scale ***,a cross-level fusion module(CFM)is proposed to effectively integrate the cross-level features,which can exploit the local and global contextual ***,the outputs of CFMs are adaptively weighted by using the learned edge-aware feature,which are then used to produce multiple side-out segmentation *** results on five widely adopted colonoscopy datasets show that our EFA-Net outperforms state-of-the-art polyp segmentation methods in terms of generalization and *** implementation code and segmentation maps will be publicly at https://***/taozh2017/EFANet.

Hydrogen bond-induced conduction loss for enhanced electromagnetic attenuation in deep eutectic gel absorbers

Gels and conductive polymer composites,including hydrogen bonds(HBs),have emerged as promising materials for electro-magnetic wave(EMW)absorption across various ***,the relationship between conduction loss in EMW-absorbing materials and charge transfer in HB remains to be fully *** this study,we developed a series of deep eutectic gels to fine-tune the quantity of HB by adjusting the molar ratio of choline chloride(ChCl)and ethylene glycol(EG).Owing to the unique properties of deep eutectic gels,the effects of magnetic loss and polarization loss on EMW attenuation can be *** results indicate that the quantity of HB initially increases and then decreases with the introduction of EG,with HB-induced conductive loss following similar *** a ChCl and EG molar ratio of 2.4,the gel labeled G22-CE2.4 exhibited the best EMW absorption performance,characterized by an effective absorption bandwidth of 8.50 GHz and a thickness of 2.54 *** superior performance is attributed to the synergistic ef-fects of excellent conductive loss and impedance matching generated by the optimal number of *** work elucidates the role of HB in dielectric loss for the first time and provides valuable insights into the optimal design of supramolecular polymer absorbers.

BACKGROUND Diabetic foot ulcers(DFUs)present a significant clinical challenge due to their high prevalence and profound impact on ***-assisted wound debridement(UAWD)has emerged as a potential therapeutic modality to improve healing outcomes in DFU *** To evaluate the efficacy of UAWD in treating DFUs on wound closure rates,treatment duration,and quality of life *** This systematic review and meta-analysis followed PRISMA guidelines,systematically searching PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,and the Cochrane Library with no date *** controlled trials(RCTs)that evaluated the efficacy of UAWD in DFU treatment were *** were independently extracted by two reviewers,with discrepancies resolved through consensus or third-party *** risk of bias was assessed using the Cochrane tool.χ2 and I2 statistics assessed heterogeneity,informing the use of fixed or random-effects models for meta-analysis,supplemented by sensitivity analysis and publication bias assessment through funnel plots and Egger's *** From 1255 articles,seven RCTs met the inclusion *** studies demonstrated that UAWD significantly reduced DFU healing time(standardized mean difference=-0.78,95%CI:-0.97 to-0.60,P<0.001)and increased healing rates(odds ratio=9.96,95%CI:5.99 to 16.56,P<0.001)compared to standard *** analysis confirmed the stability of these results,and no significant publication bias was *** UAWD is a promising adjunctive treatment for DFUs,significantly reducing healing times and increasing healing *** findings advocate for the integration of UAWD into standard DFU care protocols.

Generic singularities for 2D pressureless flows

In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem for pressureless gases in two space dimensions with the generic smooth initial data(density and velocity). These equations give rise to singular curves, where the mass has a positive density with respect to the 1-dimensional Hausdorff measure. We observe that the system of equations describing these singular curves is not hyperbolic. For analytic data, local solutions are constructed by using a version of the Cauchy-Kovalevskaya theorem. We then study the interaction of two singular curves in the generic position. Finally, for a generic initial velocity field, we investigate the asymptotic structure of the smooth solution up to the first time when a singularity is formed.

基于家庭内部议价能力与社会规范两种解释,探究夫妻间住房产权归属与家庭教育投资的关系。利用CFPS数据实证发现,通过女性劳动参与和家庭收入两种机制,女性拥有住房产权促进了家庭教育投资绝对数额增加。异质性分析显示,伴随女性受教育水平提升与受教育水平性别差距缩小,住房产权对家庭教育投资的影响得以增强,另外二者间影响仅在男孩子代与独生子女样本中表现明显。进一步分析显示,相较于女性独有产权,夫妻共享住房产权对家庭教育投资的影响更大。

血清ALB、CRP、GLB对复发性糖尿病足溃疡的预测价值

目的探讨血清白蛋白(albumin,ALB)、C反应蛋白(C-reactive protein,CRP)、球蛋白(globulin,GLB)对复发性糖尿病足溃疡(diabetic foot ulcers,DFU)的预测价值。方法选取2020年1月至2023年11月武汉市第三医院收治的DFU患者101例为研究对象,根据患者是否为复发性DFU将其分为复发组(59例)和对照组(42例)。比较两组患者的临床资料,采用Logistic回归分析DFU复发的影响因素;绘制受试者操作特征曲线分析血清ALB、CRP及GLB对复发性DFU的预测价值。结果复发组患者的体质量指数、血红蛋白、ALB均显著低于对照组,CRP、GLB、前白蛋白和肌酐水平均显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。Logistic回归分析结果显示,ALB是患者DFU复发的独立保护因素(P<0.05),CRP、GLB均是DFU复发的独立危险因素(P<0.05)。ALB、CRP、GLB预测DFU复发的曲线下面积(area under the curve,AUC)分别为0.782(95%CI:0.691~0.874)、0.824(95%CI:0.742~0.906)、0.686(95%CI:0.582~0.790),三项联合预测复发性DFU的AUC为0.849(95%CI:0.775~0.922)。结论复发性DFU患者的血清ALB水平降低,CRP、GLB水平升高;ALB、CRP及GLB均对复发性DFU具有一定的预测价值,三项联合的预测价值更高。

为了获得纳秒脉冲电压作用下环保型绝缘气体的逃逸束流特性,对洁净空气、SF_(6)和C_(4)F_(7)N/CO_(2)混合气体中逃逸电子的产生规律进行研究。通过搭建逃逸电子收集平台,检测在不同气压的纯净空气、SF_(6)和C_(4)F_(7)N/CO_(2)混合气体条件下,施加不同幅值的纳秒脉冲电压时产生逃逸电子的电荷量。结果表明:纳秒脉冲作用下低能电子会加速转变为逃逸电子,纳秒脉冲电压幅值越高,气体压强越低,绝缘气体产生的逃逸电子电荷量越大。洁净空气对逃逸电子产生的抑制效果相对较弱,SF_(6)和C_(4)F_(7)N/CO_(2)混合气体对逃逸电子产生有明显的抑制效果,随气压升高,C_(4)F_(7)N/CO_(2)混合气体相对于SF_(6)对逃逸电子产生的抑制效果更加明显。

We investigate the vacuum in nonisentropic gas dynamics in one space vari- able, with the most general equation of states allowed by thermodynamics. We recall physical constraints on the equations of state and give explicit and easily checkable conditions under which vacuums occur in the solution of the Riemann problem. We then present a class of models for which the Riemann problem admits unique global solutions without vacuums.

Inhibiting segregation enabled outstanding combination of mechanical and corrosion properties in precipitation-strengthened aluminum alloys

Segregation of solutes to grain boundary(GB)is the dominant restriction on enhancement of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance during aging in precipitation-strengthened aluminum ***,we innovatively introduce the cyclic deformation by the vibration during aging to eliminate the GB segre-gation,resulting in the formation of the narrow precipitate-free zone(PFZ)widths near the GB,as well as the fine and discontinuous grain boundary precipitations(GBPs).Compared with the traditional peak-aging,the 2014 aluminum alloy treated by thermal cooperative vibration aging(TCVA)exhibits a superb combination of impact toughness and corrosion resistance,and retains the strength and *** ad-dition,the atomic simulations show that TCVA generates numerous vacancies near the GB,but does not change the dislocation density with the increase of cycle *** results indicate that the vacancy significantly promotes the nucleation and growth of precipitates in the vicinity of GB,resulting in the narrow PFZs and fine discontinuous *** present work provides the fundamental knowledge and method to inhibit the equilibrium segregation of solutes to GB during aging,and further realizes the precipitation-strengthened aluminum alloys with excellent mechanical and corrosion properties.
