The investigation concentrates on friction stir welded(FSW)Al-Cu-Li alloy concerning its local microstructural evolution and mechanical *** grain features were characterized by electron back scattered diffraction(EBSD)technology,while precipitate characterization was conducted by using transmission electron microscopy(TEM)aligned along[011]Al and[001]Al zone *** mechanical properties are evaluated through micro-hardness and tensile *** can be found that nugget zones exhibit finely equiaxed grains evolved through complete dynamic recrystallization(DRX),primarily occurring in continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX)and discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRX).In the thermal-mechanically affected zone(TMAZ),numerous sub-structured grains,exhibiting an elongated morphology,were created due to partial DRX,signifying the dominance of CDRX,DDRX,and geometric dynamic recrystallization(GDRX)in this region.T_(1)completely dissolves in the nugget zone(nZ)leading to the formation of Guinier-Preston zones and increase ofδ′,β′and S′.Conversely,T_(1)partially solubilizes in TMAZ,the lowest hardness zone(LHZ)and heat affected zone(HAZ),and the residual T_(1)undergoes marked coarsening,revealing various T_(1)*** solubilization and coarsening of T_(1)are primary contributors to the degradation of hardness and strength.θ′primarily dissolves and coarsens in nZ and TMAZ,whilst this precipitate largely coarsens in HAZ and LHZ.σ,TB,grain boundary phases(GBPs)and precipitate-free zone(PFZ)are newly generated during FSW.σexists in the TMAZ,LHZ and HAZ,whereas TB nucleates in *** and PFZ mostly develop in LHZ and HAZ,which can cause strain localization during tensile deformation,potentially leading to LHZ joint fracture.

With morphological features resembling hepatocellular carcinoma,hepatoid adenocarcinoma of the lung(HAL)is a rare and aggressive subtype of lung cancer with a 5-year survival of only 8%.1 Most HAL patients present increased serum alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)levels that are commonly related to poor *** insights into HAL have come from case series or reports,and TP53 is frequently mutated in *** heterogeneity of HAL complicates the *** no established standard,the management of HAL is modeled on that of classical lung adenocarcinoma,although with dismal outcomes.2 Herein,we reported the effective management of a stage IIIb HAL patient with perioperative chemoimmunotherapy and curative-intent *** patient remained disease-free and minimal residual disease(MRD)-negative for more than one year after surgery.

Role of inflammatory lipid and fatty acid metabolic abnormalities induced by plastic additives exposure in childhood asthma

Lipid metabolism play an essential role in occurrence and development of asthma,and it can be disturbed by phthalate esters(PAEs)and organophosphate fame retardants(OPFRs).As a chronic infammatory respiratory disease,the occurrence risk of childhood asthma is increased by PAEs and OPFRs exposure,but it remains not entirely clear how PAEs and OPFRs contribute the onset and progress of the *** have profiled the serum levels of PAEs and OPFRs congeners by liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry,and its relationships with the dysregulation of lipid metabolism in asthmatic,bronchitic(acute infammation)and healthy(non-infammation)*** PAEs and nine OPFRs congeners were found in the serum of children(1–5 years old)from Shenzhen,and their total median levels were 615.16 ng/m L and 17.06 ng/m L,***,the serum levels of mono-methyl phthalate(MMP),tri-propyl phosphate(TPP)and tri-n-butyl phosphate(TnBP)were significant higher in asthmatic children than in healthy and bronchitic children as ***-one characteristic lipids and fatty acids of asthma were screened by machine-learning random forest model based on serum lipidome data,and the alterations of infammatory characteristic lipids and fatty acids including palmitic acids,12,13-Di HODE,14,21-Di HDHA,prostaglandin D2 and Lyso PA(18:2)showed significant correlated with high serum levels of MMP,TPP and *** results imply PAEs and OPFRs promote the occurrence of childhood asthma via disrupting infammatory lipid and fatty acid metabolism,and provide a novel sight for better understanding the effects of plastic additives on childhood asthma.

Surface reconstruction yields real active species in electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction(OER)conditions;however,rationally regulating reconstruction in a targeted manner for constructing highly active OER electrocatalysts remains a formidable ***,an electrochemical activation strategy with selective etching was utilized to guide the reconstruction process of a hybrid cobalt-molybdenum oxide(CoMoO_(4)/Co_(3)O_(4)@CC)in a favorable direction to improve the OER *** in-situ Raman and multiple ex-situ characterization tools demonstrate that controlled surface reconstruction can be easily achieved through Mo etching,with the formation of a dynamically stable amorphous-crystalline *** calculations together with experimental results reveal that the synergistic effects between amorphous CoOOH and crystalline Co_(3)O_(4) are crucial in enhancing the catalytic ***,the reconstructed CoMoO_(4)/Co_(3)O_(4)@CC exhibits a low overpotential of 250 mV to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2) in 1 M KOH,and more importantly it can be practiced in electrolytic water splitting and rechargeable zinc-air batteries devices,achieving ultra-long stability for over 500 and 1200 h,*** work provides a promising route for the construction of high-performance electrocatalysts.

Background:Hypertension and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(nAFLD)share several pathophysiologic risk factors,and the exact relationship between the two remains *** study aims to provide evidence concerning the relationship between hypertension and nAFLD by analyzing data from the national Health and nutrition Examination Survey(nHAnES)2017-2018 and Mendelian randomization(MR)***:Weighted multivariable-adjusted logistic regression was applied to assess the relationship between hypertension and nAFLD risk by using data from the nHAnES ***,a two-sample MR study was performed using the genome-wide association study(GWAS)summary statistics to identify the causal association between hypertension,systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),and *** primary inverse variance weighted(IVW)and other supplementary MR approaches were conducted to verify the causal association between hypertension and *** analyses were adopted to confirm the robustness of the ***:A total of 3144 participants were enrolled for our observational study in *** multivariable-adjusted logistic regression analysis suggested that hypertension was positively related to nAFLD risk(odds ratio[OR]=1.677;95%confidence interval[CI],1.159-2.423).SBP≥130 mmHg and DBP≥80 mmHg were also significantly positively correlated with ***,hypertension was independently connected with liver steatosis(β=7.836[95%CI,2.334-13.338]).The results of MR analysis also supported a causal association between hypertension(OR=7.203[95%CI,2.297-22.587])and *** results were observed for the causal exploration between SBP(OR=1.024[95%CI,1.003-1.046]),DBP(OR=1.047[95%CI,1.005-1.090]),and *** sensitive analysis further confirmed the robustness and reliability of these findings(all P>0.05).Conclusion:Hypertension was associated with an increased risk of nAFLD.

Prostate cancer(PCa)is the second most common malignancy among men *** Fu-Zheng-Yi-Liu(FZYL)Formula has been widely utilized in the treatment of *** study investigates whether the FZYL Formula can inhibit PCa by tar-geting the TAMs/CCL5 *** conducted in vitro co-cultures and in vivo co-injections of PCa cells and TAMs to mimic their *** showed that the FZYL Formula significantly reduced the proliferation,colony formation,subpopulations of PCSCs,and sphere-formation efficacy of PCa cells,even in the presence of TAM ***,the Formula markedly decreased the migration,invasion,and epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)of PCa cells induced by *** FZYL Formula also reversed M2 phenotype polarization in TAMs and dose-dependently reduced their CCL5 expression and secretion,with minimal cytotoxicity *** studies confirmed that the TAMs/CCL5 axis is a critical target of the FZYL Formula,as the addition of exogen-ous CCL5 partially reversed the formula’s inhibitory effects on PCSCs self-renewal in the co-culture ***,the Formula also significantly inhibited the growth of PCa xenografts,bone metastasis,and PCSCs activity in vivo by targeting the TAMs/CCL5 ***,this study not only elucidates the immunomodulatory mechanism of the FZYL Formula in PCa therapy but also highlights the TAMs/CCL5 axis as a promising therapeutic target.

Transcription factor OsWRKY11 induces rice heading at low concentrations but inhibits rice heading at high concentrations

The heading date of rice is a crucial agronomic characteristic that influences its adaptability to different regions and its productivity *** the involvement of WRKY transcription factors in various biological processes related to development,the precise mechanisms through which these transcription factors regulate the heading date in rice have not been well *** present study identified OsWRKY11 as a WRKY transcription factor which exhibits a pivotal function in the regulation of the heading date in rice through a comprehensive screening of a clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)-CRISPR-associated nuclease 9 mutant library that specifically targets the WRKY genes in *** heading date of oswrky11 mutant plants and OsWRKY11-overexpressing plants was delayed compared with that of the wild-type plants under short-day and long-day *** investigation revealed that OsWRKY11 exerts dual effects on transcriptional promotion and suppression through direct and indirect DnA binding,*** normal conditions,OsWRKY11 facilitates flowering by directly inducing the expression of OsMADS14 and *** presence of elevated levels of OsWRKY11 protein promote formation of a ternary protein complex involving OsWRKY11,Heading date 1(Hd1),and Days to heading date 8(DTH8),and this complex then suppresses the expression of Ehd1,which leads to a delay in the heading *** investigation revealed that a mild drought condition resulted in a modest increase in OsWRKY11 expression,promoting ***,under severe drought conditions,a significant upregulation of OsWRKY11 led to the suppression of Ehd1 expression,ultimately causing a delay in heading *** findings uncover a previously unacknowledged mechanism through which the transcription factor OsWRKY11 exerts a dual impact on the heading date by directly and indirectly binding to the promoters of target genes.

The exfoliation of bulk 2H-molybdenum disulfide(2H-MoS_(2))into few-layer nanosheets with 1T-phase and controlled layers represents a daunting challenge towards the device applications of MoS_(2).Conventional ion intercalation assisted exfoliation needs the use of hazardous n-butyllithium and/or elaborate control of the intercalation potential to avoid the decomposition of the MoS_(2).This work reports a facile strategy by intercalating Li ions electrochemically with ether-based electrolyte into the van der Waals(vdW)channels of MoS_(2),which successfully avoids the decomposition of MoS_(2)at low *** co-intercalation of Li+and the ether solvent into MoS_(2)makes a first-order phase transformation,forming a superlattice phase,which preserves the layered structure and hence enables the exfoliation of bulk 2H-MoS_(2)into bilayer nanosheets with *** with the pristine 2H-MoS_(2),the bilayer 1T-MoS_(2)nanosheets exhibit better electrocatalytic performance for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).This facile method should be easily extended to the exfoliation of various transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs).
