To meet the emerging demands for thermal protection materials for hypersonic aircraft,developing porous ultrahigh-temperature ceramics with both robust mechanical properties and superior thermal insulation performance is a critical ***,we report novel porous(Ta_(0.2.Nb_(0.2.Ti_(0.2.Zr_(0.2.Hf_(0.2.)C high-entropy carbide(PHEC)ceramics fabricated by a self-foaming method using commercially available metal chloride and furfuryl alcohol(FA)as *** PHEC ceramics are constructed of microspheres with a size of 2.m,leading to a high porosity of 91.3.and an interconnected *** microspheres consist of high-entropy carbide grains(2. nm),resulting in abundant interfaces and nanosized pores in the PHEC *** to its unique hierarchical structure,the prepared PHEC ceramics have outstanding compressive strength(2..1±2.MPa)and exceptionally low thermal conductivity(κ_(T),0.04. AIM:To evaluate scleral buckling(SB)surgery using a noncontact wide-field viewing system and 2.-gauge intraocular illumination for the treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in silicone oil(SO)-filled ***:Totally 9 patients(9 eyes)with retinal detachment in SO-filled eyes were retrospectively *** patients underwent non-contact wide-field viewing system-assisted buckling surgery with 2.-gauge intraocular *** was removed at an appropriate time based on *** patients were followed up for at least 3.o after SO *** reattachment,complications,visual acuity and intraocular pressure(IOP)before and after surgery were ***:Patients were followed up for a mean of 8.2.mo(3.2.mo)after SO *** patients had retinal *** the final follow-up,visual acuity showed improvement for 8 patients,and no change for 1 *** IOP was high in 3.patients before surgery,but it stabilized after treatment;it was not affected in the other *** of the patients had infections,hemorrhage,anterior ischemia,or any other ***:This new non-contact wide-field viewing system-assisted SB surgery with 2.-gauge intraocular illumination is effective and safe for retinal detachment in SO-filled eyes.

Temporal lobe epilepsy is a multifactorial neurological dysfunction syndrome that is refractory,resistant to antiepileptic drugs,and has a high recurrence *** pathogenesis of temporal lobe epilepsy is complex and is not fully *** calcium dynamics have been implicated in temporal lobe ***,the effect of fluctuating calcium activity in CA1 pyramidal neurons on temporal lobe epilepsy is unknown,and no longitudinal studies have investigated calcium activity in pyramidal neurons in the hippocampal CA1 and primary motor cortex M1 of freely moving *** this study,we used a multichannel fiber photometry system to continuously record calcium signals in CA1 and M1 during the temporal lobe epilepsy *** found that calcium signals varied according to the grade of temporal lobe epilepsy *** particular,cortical spreading depression,which has recently been frequently used to represent the continuously and substantially increased calcium signals,was found to correspond to complex and severe behavioral characteristics of temporal lobe epilepsy ranging from gradeⅡto gradeⅤ.However,vigorous calcium oscillations and highly synchronized calcium signals in CA1 and M1 were strongly related to convulsive motor *** inhibition of pyramidal neurons in CA1 significantly attenuated the amplitudes of the calcium signals corresponding to gradeⅠ*** addition,the latency of cortical spreading depression was prolonged,and the above-mentioned abnormal calcium signals in CA1 and M1 were also significantly ***,it was possible to rescue the altered intracellular calcium *** simultaneous analysis of calcium signals and epileptic behaviors,we found that the progression of temporal lobe epilepsy was alleviated when specific calcium signals were reduced,and that the end-point behaviors of temporal lobe epilepsy were *** results indicate that the calcium dynamic between CA1 and M1 may reflect sp

Owing to uncontrolled and uneven electrodeposition and side reactions,Zn metal anodes inevitably suffer from issues such as dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution reactions,and surface *** paper proposes an efficient strategy to address these critical issues for realizing long-life and high-capacity aqueous zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors （ZHSCs） by incorporating low-concentration (0.05 mol·L-1) redox RbI electrolyte ***,rubidium cations have the ability to influence the negative Zn electrode surface via an electrostatic shielding mechanism,effectively protecting the electrode and minimizing undesired side *** an aqueous solution,iodide anions actively solvate Zn2.ions by stabilizing and modulating the solvation shell surrounding Zn2..Moreover,the presence of iodide ions promotes the uniform deposition of Zn2.species by selective adsorption onto the electrode *** synergistic effect of the electrostatic shielding and halogen ions enables the realization of aqueous symmetric Zn||Zn cells with a substantial cycle life of more than 2.00 h Additionally,when applied to commercial activated carbon（AC）,the proposed strategy facilitates the development of aqueous ZHSCs,exhibiting high specific capacitances(14..8 F·g-1at 4.A·g-1) and ultra-long cycling stability.

High-efficiency and low-cost knowledge sharing can improve the decision-making ability of autonomous vehicles by mining knowledge from the Internet of Vehicles(IoVs).However,it is challenging to ensure high efficiency of local data learning models while preventing privacy leakage in a high mobility *** order to protect data privacy and improve data learning efficiency in knowledge sharing,we propose an asynchronous federated broad learning(FBL)framework that integrates broad learning(BL)into federated learning(FL).In FBL,we design a broad fully connected model(BFCM)as a local model for training client *** enhance the wireless channel quality for knowledge sharing and reduce the communication and computation cost of participating clients,we construct a joint resource allocation and reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)configuration optimization framework for *** problem is decoupled into two convex *** to improve the resource scheduling efficiency in FBL,a double Davidon–Fletcher–Powell(DDFP)algorithm is presented to solve the time slot allocation and RIS configuration *** on the results of resource scheduling,we design a reward-allocation algorithm based on federated incentive learning(FIL)in FBL to compensate clients for their *** simulation results show that the proposed FBL framework achieves better performance than the comparison models in terms of efficiency,accuracy,and cost for knowledge sharing in the IoV.
