Solid-state lithium-metal batteries(SLMBs)have been regarded as one of the most promising next-generation devices because of their potential high safety,high energy density,and simple packing procedure.However,the practical applications of SLMBs are restricted by a series of static and dynamic interfacial issues,including poor interfacial contact,(electro-)chemical incompatibility,dynamic Li dendrite penetration,etc.In recent years,considerable attempts have been made to obtain mechanistic insight into interfacial failures and to develop possible strategies towards excellent interfacial properties for SLMBs.The static and dynamic failure mechanisms at interfaces between solid electrolytes(SEs)and electrodes are comprehensively summarized,and design strategies involving interfacial modification,electrode/SE engineering,and the monolithic construction of SLMBs are discussed in detail.Finally,possible research methodologies such as theoretical calcu-lations,advanced characterization techniques,and versatile design strategies are provided to tackle these interfacial problems.

Leech-Centipede Granules Suppress EndMT to Improve Erectile Dysfunction in Rats with Diabetes Mellitus via TGF-β/Smad Pathway

Objective:To investigate whether Leech-Centipede(LC) Granules can improve erectile function in rats with diabetes mellitus-associated erectile dysfunction(DMED) through endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition(EndMT) inhibition.Methods:Components of LC Granules were identified via ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography.Thirty male Sprague Dawley rats were injected with streptozotocin and fed continuously for 8weeks to establish the DMED rat model.Rats with erectile dysfunction symptoms diagnosed using apomorphine were divided into DMED and low-,medium-,and high-doses LC groups(n=6 in each).The negative control(NC, n=6) and DMED groups were given 5 mL of deionized water via intragastric gavage,and the low-,mediumand the high-doses LC groups were administered LC at 1.6,3.2,and 6.4 g/kg,respectively,via intragastric gavage for 4 weeks.The intracavernous pressure(ICP),mean arterial pressure(MAP),and nitric oxide(NO) levels in cavernous tissue were measured for each group.Quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and Western blot were used to detect mRNA and protein expressions of endothelial and mesenchymal markers.Immunofluorescence staining was used to observe α-SMA, and Masson’s trichrome staining was performed to determine the myofiber/collagen ratio.Results:A total of 474 active components were identified.After treatment,the ICP/MAP value and NO level were significantly higher in the medium-and high-dose LC groups than in the DMED group(P0.05).α-SMA expression was significantly higher in the DMED group and was reduced in all LC intervention groups(P>0.05).The myofiber/collagen ratio in the LC groups was higher than that in the DMED group but lo

Kinetics Study on Reaction of Atenolol with Singlet Oxygen by Directly Monitoring the^(1)O_(2)Phosphorescence

The pharmaceuti-cally active com-pound atenolol,a kind of β-blockers,may result in ad-verse effects both for human health and ecosystems if it is excreted to the surface water resources.To e ectively remove atenolol in the environ-ment,both direct and indirect photodegradation,driven by sunlight play an important role.Among indirect photodegradation,singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2)),as a pivotal reactive species,is likely to determine the fates of atenolol.Nevertheless,the kinetic information on the re-action of atenolol with singlet oxygen has not been well investigated and the reaction rate constant is still ambiguous.Herein,the reaction rate constant of atenolol with singlet oxy-gen is investigated directly through observing the decay of the^(1)O_(2)phosphorescence at 1270 nm.It is determined that the reaction rate constant between atenolol and^(1)O_(2)is 7.0×10^(5)(mol/L)^(-1)·s^(-1)in D2O,8.0×10^(6)(mol/L)^(-1)·s^(-1)in acetonitrile,and 8.4×10^(5)(mol/L)^(-1)·s^(-1)in EtOH,respectively.Furthermore,the solvent effects on the title reaction were also inves-tigated.It is revealed that the solvents with strong polarity and weak hydrogen donating ability are suitable to achieve high rate constant values.These kinetics information on the reaction of atenolol with singlet oxygen may provide fundamental knowledge to the indirect photodegradation of β-blockers.

Multistable mechanical metamaterials are a type of mechanical metamaterials with special features,such as reusability,energy storage and absorption capabilities,rapid deformation,and amplified output forces.These metamaterials are usually realized by series and/or parallel of bistable units.They can exhibit multiple stable configurations under external loads and can be switched reversely among each other,thereby realizing the reusability of mechanical metamaterials and offering broad engineering applications.This paper reviews the latest research progress in the design strategy,manufacture and application of multistable mechanical metamaterials.We divide bistable structures into three categories based on their basic element types and provide the criterion of their bistability.Various manufacturing techniques to fabricate these multistable mechanical metamaterials are introduced,including mold casting,cutting,folding and three-dimensional/4D printing.Furthermore,the prospects of multistable mechanical metamaterials for applications in soft driving,mechanical computing,energy absorption and wave controlling are discussed.Finally,this paper highlights possible challenges and opportunities for future investigations.The review aims to provide insights into the research and development of multistable mechanical metamaterials.

The term Jingluo,translated as meridian or channel,is a core component of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and has played a fundamental role in guiding the clinical practice of acupuncture for thousands of years.However,the essence of the meridian remains elusive and is a source of both confusion and debate for researchers.In this study,a“4 D”systemic view on the essence of the meridian,namely substantial,functional,chronological,and cultural dimensions,was proposed based on a review of the ancient medical classics,recent research developments,and results from clinical practice.Previous studies have primarily focused on the substantial dimension of the meridian system,with scant interpretation about its functional domain.Neither systemic data nor evaluations have been adequately documented.Additionally,a limited but increasing number of studies have focused on the chronological and cultural dimensions.More investigations that embody the holistic concept of TCM and integrate the systemic modes and advanced techniques with dominant diseases of TCM need to be performed to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the essence of meridians.The goal of this study is to yield useful information in understanding the essence of meridians and provide a reference and perspective for further research.

Manufacturability and mechanical reliability study for heterogeneous integration system in display(HiSID)

In this paper,the system on display panel(SoDP)architecture,the primary stage of heterogeneous integration system in display(HiSID),is introduced for the first time.In this architecture,the driving components of display,which are supposed to be on the display flexible print circuit(FPC)in traditional architecture,are innovatively integrated onto the backside of display panel.Through the SoDP architecture,the simulated impact strain in the panel fan-out region can decrease about 30%compared to the traditional architecture,and SoDP provides more the 10 mm extra space in the in-plane Y-direction for holding a larger battery.Also,the SoDP is compatible with the current organic laser emitted diode(OLED)and system in package(SiP)processes.Besides the primary stage,this paper also presents a comprehensive and extensive analysis on the challenges of the manufacturability for the advanced stage of HiSID from four key technologies perspectives:device miniaturization,massive manufacturing,driving technology,and advanced heterogeneous integration.

背景:人工神经网络(ANN)是以数学模型模拟神经元活动的信息处理系统,因其强大的自我学习能力和非线性信息分析能力而应用于疾病诊断,尤其适用于复杂的系统性疾病。本研究旨在借助ANN建立脂肪性肝病(FLD)的预测模型。方法:本研究纳入在浙江大学医学院附属第一医院进行体检的共7,396对性别和年龄匹配的受试者,并将体检报告中的各项检查指标作为可能的输入变量进行ANN模型的训练。采用ROC曲线下面积(AUROC)评估该模型对FLD的预测能力,其他评估指标包括准确性、敏感性、特异性、Cohen’s k系数、Brier评分和Hosmer-Lemeshow检验等。本研究还使用本组数据重新训练了其他FLD诊断模型,包括脂肪肝指数(FLI)和肝脂肪变性指数(HSI),并与本研究建立的ANN模型进行比较。结果:经训练,最终纳入8个变量(年龄、性别、体质指数、丙氨酸氨基转移酶、天冬氨酸氨基转移酶、尿酸、甘油三酯、空腹血糖)作为ANN诊断模型的输入节点,输出区间在0-1之间(1为存在FLD,0为不存在FLD)。取0.51作为截点值,在验证队列中,ANN模型预测FLD的AUROC为0.908(95%CI:0.901-0.915),显著高于FLI模型(0.881,95%CI:0.872-0.891;P<0.05)和HSI模型(0.885,95%CI:0.877-0.893;P<0.05)。与FLI模型和HSI模型相比,本研究建立的ANN模型呈现更高的预测准确性,与超声检查结果的一致性更好,校正能力也更强。结论:本研究建立的ANN模型对FLD具有良好的预测及诊断能力,我们期待ANN模型能在未来的临床和流行病学研究中得到广泛应用。

Primary hepatic follicular dendritic cell sarcoma: A case report

BACKGROUND Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma(FDCS) is an uncommon type of tumor with low incidence. To date,no standard treatment for the disease has been established.Surgery remains the main treatment. Adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy are optional approaches. Metastatic cases require multidisciplinary collaborative treatments. However,the choice of chemotherapeutic drugs is controversial.CASE SUMMARY A 66-year-old Chinese woman presented to our hospital complaining of intermittent pain of right upper quadrant. An enhanced computed tomography(CT) scan of the abdomen revealed hepatocellular carcinoma. Subsequently,the patient underwent a radical partial hepatectomy. Primary FDCS of the liver was diagnosed pathologically. Except for regular follow-up examinations,the patient did not receive adjuvant chemotherapy or radiotherapy. However,fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/CT(PET/CT) confirmed lymph node metastases in the space of ligamentum hepatogastricum and pancreatic head,as well as the portacaval space. The patient was given systemic chemotherapy with gemcitabine and docetaxel for she was unsuitable for surgery. Satisfactorily,the metastatic lymph nodes were significantly reduced to clinical complete remission after eight cycles of chemotherapy. Then,strengthened radiotherapy was followed when the patient rejected the opportunity of surgery. Eventually,the carcinoma got better control and the patient was free of progression.CONCLUSION This case highlights the importance of making suitable chemotherapy regimens for the rare tumor. The combination of gemcitabine,docetaxel,and consolidated radiotherapy may offer a new promising option for the treatment of metastatic hepatic FDCS in the future.

近年来,随着行政执法体制改革的重心由横向集中向纵向下放转变,各地政府均在探索下放行政执法权。目前已有近一半省份发布了行政执法权下放清单,不少市县区政府及其职能部门也在大规模下放行政执法权。当前轰轰烈烈的行政执法权下放活动隐藏着不容忽视的法治风险。下放依据不足、下放主体不适格、下放方式混乱、下放内容抵触上位法是行政执法权下放地方实践面临的共性问题。对此,全国人大常委会应适时修法为执法权下放提供充分的法律依据,国务院应强化行政执法权下放的顶层设计,对行政执法权下放的基本事项作出框架性规定,地方人大常委会则应加强对行政执法权下放决定的备案审查,确保行政执法权下放在法治轨道上运行。

Stromal cell-derived factor-1α regulates chondrogenic differentiation via activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway in mesenchymal stem cells

BACKGROUND Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have been applied to treat degenerative articular diseases,and stromal cell-derived factor-1α(SDF-1α)may enhance their therapeutic efficacy.However,the regulatory effects of SDF-1αon cartilage differentiation remain largely unknown.Identifying the specific regulatory effects of SDF-1αon MSCs will provide a useful target for the treatment of degenerative articular diseases.AIM To explore the role and mechanism of SDF-1αin cartilage differentiation of MSCs and primary chondrocytes.METHODS The expression level of C-X-C chemokine receptor 4(CXCR4)in MSCs was assessed by immunofluorescence.MSCs treated with SDF-1αwere stained for alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and with Alcian blue to observe differentiation.Western blot analysis was used to examine the expression of SRY-box transcription factor 9,aggrecan,collagen II,runt-related transcription factor 2,collagen X,and matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)13 in untreated MSCs,of aggrecan,collagen II,collagen X,and MMP13 in SDF-1α-treated primary chondrocytes,of glycogen synthase kinase 3β(GSK3β)p-GSK3βandβ-catenin expression in SDF-1α-treated MSCs,and of aggrecan,collagen X,and MMP13 in SDF-1α-treated MSCs in the presence or absence of ICG-001(SDF-1αinhibitor).RESULTS Immunofluorescence showed CXCR4 expression in the membranes of MSCs.ALP stain was intensified in MSCs treated with SDF-1αfor 14 d.The SDF-1αtreatment promoted expression of collagen X and MMP13 during cartilage differentiation,whereas it had no effect on the expression of collagen II or aggrecan nor on the formation of cartilage matrix in MSCs.Further,those SDF-1α-mediated effects on MSCs were validated in primary chondrocytes.SDF-1αpromoted the expression of p-GSK3βandβ-catenin in MSCs.And,finally,inhibition of this pathway by ICG-001(5μmol/L)neutralized the SDF-1α-mediated up-regulation of collagen X and MMP13 expression in MSCs.CONCLUSION SDF-1αmay promote hypertrophic cartilage differentiation in MSCs by activating the Wnt/β-catenin pathway.These findings provide further eviden
