In recent times,the impact of typhoon disasters on integrated energy active distribution networks(IEADNs)has received increasing attention,particularly,in terms of effective cascading fault path prediction and enhanced fault recovery *** this study,we propose a modified ORNL-PSerc-Alaska(OPA)model based on optimal power flow(OPF)calculation to forecast IEADN cascading fault *** first established the topology and operational model of the IEADNs,and the typical fault scenario was chosen according to the component fault probability and information *** modified OPA model consisted of two layers:An upper-layer model to determine the cascading fault location and a lower-layer model to calculate the OPF by using Yalmip and CPLEX and provide the data to update the upper-layer *** approach was validated via the modified IEEE 33-node distribution system and two real *** results showed that the fault trend forecasted by the novel OPA model corresponded well with the development and movement of the typhoon above the *** proposed model also increased the load recovery rate by>24%compared to the traditional OPA model.

The epithelial mesenchymal transition(EMT)plays significant roles in the progression of cancer and fibrotic ***,this process is reversible,resulting in mesenchymal epithelial transition(MET),which plays an important role in cancer *** is a lack of methods to trace and target EMT cells using synthetic biology circuits,which makes it difficult to study the cell fate or develop targeted *** this study,we introduced responsive EMT sensing circuits,which sense the EMT using specific promoters that respond to transcription factors typical of EMT activation(EMT-TFs).The transcriptional strength of EMT-sensing promoters decreased more than 13-fold in response to the overexpression of the ***,the NOT gate circuits were built by placing the tetR transcription repressor under the control of EMT sensing promoters and expressed an output signal using the constitutive CMV promoter modified with tetO sites This circuit is named EMT sensing and responding *** the EMT transcription factors was present,we observed a 5.8-fold signal increase in the ***,we successfully distinguished mesenchymal breast cancer cells from epithelial cancer cells and repressed the proliferation of EMT tumor cells using our *** EMT sensing and responding circuits are promising tools for the identification of EMT cells,which is crucial for EMT-related disease therapy and investigating the mechanisms underlying the reversible EMT process.

Radical-involved allylation reactions have emerged as a powerful platform for construction of carbon-carbon and carbonheteroatom bonds, facilitating the strategic incorporation of diverse allyl moieties. Nevertheless, this burgeoning field still faces ongoing challenges, including limitations of radical precursors and coupling partners, and difficulties in achieving enantiocontrol. herein, we report for the first time a highly enantioselective radical allylation involving β-keto esters with vinyl cyclopropanes utilizing a synergistic dual photoredox/nickel catalysis under visible light irradiation. The mild and redox-neutral catalytic protocol demonstrates an extensive substrate compatibility and good functional tolerance, providing access to enantioenriched β-keto esters featuring quaternary α-stereocenter with good yields and high enantioselectivities. Preliminary mechanistic studies have uncovered that the success of the reaction hinges on the dual roles of nickel catalyst, including in situ formation of photoredox sensitive substrate/Ni complex and the ensuing asymmetric radical addition step.

Electrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction(ECR)offers an attractive approach to realizing carbon neutrality and producing valuable chemicals and fuels using CO_(2)as the ***,the lack of cost-effective electrocatalysts with better performances has seriously hindered its ***,a one-step co-electrodeposition method was used to introduce Zn,a metal with weak^(*)CO binding energy,into Cu to form Cu/Zn intermetallic catalysts(Cu/Zn IMCs).It was shown that,using an H-cell,the high Faradaic efficiency of C_(2+)hydrocarbons/alcohols()could be achieved in ECR by adjusting the surface metal components and the applied *** suitable conditions,FEC_(2+)and current density could be as high as 75%and 40 mA/cm^(2),*** with the Cu catalyst,the Cu/Zn IMCs have a lower interfacial charge transfer resistance and a larger electrochemically active surface area(ECSA),which accelerate the ***,the^(*)CO formed on Zn sites can move to Cu sites due to its weak binding with*CO,and thus enhance the C–C coupling on the Cu surface to form C_(2+)products.

Unilateral motor impairment can disrupt the coordination between the joints,impeding the patient’s normal *** assist such patients to walk normally and naturally,an adaptive control algorithm based on inter-joint coordination was proposed in this work for lower-limb *** control strategy can generate the reference trajectory of the affected leg in real time based on a motion coordination model between the joints,and adopt an adaptive controller with virtual windows to track the reference *** Short-Term Memory(LSTM)network was also adopted to establish the coordination model between the joints of both lower limbs,which was optimized by preprocessing angle information and adding gait phase *** the adaptive controller,the virtual windows were symmetrically distributed around the reference trajectory,and its width was adjusted according to the gait phase of the auxiliary *** addition,the impedance parameters of the controller were updated online to match the motion capacity of the affected leg based on the spatiotemporal symmetry factors between the bilateral *** LSTM coordination model demonstrated good accuracy and generality in the gait database of seven individuals,with an average root mean square error of 3.5 and 4.1 for the hip and knee joint angle estimation,*** further evaluate the control algorithm,four healthy subjects walked wearing the exoskeleton while additional weights were added around the ankle joint to simulate an asymmetric *** the experimental results,it was shown that the algorithm improved the gait symmetry of the subjects to a normal level while exhibiting great adaptability to different subjects.

High-power O-mode radio waves can excite artificial instabilities in the F region,according to experiments conducted at the European Incoherent Scatter science Association(EISCAT)heating *** main instabilities include the parametric decay instability(PDI),oscillating two-stream instability(OTSI),and thermal parametric instability(TPI).The PDI and OTSI not only compete with each other,but also compete with the TPI,leading to a two-stage overshoot phenomenon:a miniovershoot occurs on a millisecond time scale after pump-on,followed by the main *** gain insight into the miniovershoot via a generalized Zakharov model,whereas the main overshoot can be observed as an enhanced plasma line overshoot phenomenon in incoherent scatter radar *** can also observe that the zero-frequency ion line exists only in the initial heating period after a cold start and that the upshifted and downshifted ion lines behave irregularly in the *** simulation results show that competition between the PDI and OTSI leads to an initial peak,which we named the *** following processes,namely ion density caviton generation,and collapse and cascade in the development of the PDI,contribute to the miniovershoot phenomenon.

Small-scale measurements of the radon exhalation rate using the flow-through and closed-loop methods were conducted on the surface of a uranium tailing pond to better understand the differences between the two *** abnormal radon exhalation behavior was observed,leading to computational fluid dynamics(CFD)-based simulations in which dynamic radon migration in a porous medium and accumulation chamber was *** on the in-situ experimental and numerical simulation results,variations in the radon exhalation rate subject to permeability,flow rate,and insertion depth were quantified and *** in-situ radon exhalation rates measured using the flow-through method were higher than those measured using the closed-loop method,which could be explained by the negative pressure difference between the inside and outside of the chamber during the *** consistency of the variations in the radon exhalation rate between the experiments and simulations suggests the reliability of CFD-based techniques in obtaining the dynamic evolution of transient radon exhalation rates for diffusion and convection at the porous medium-air *** synergistic effects of the three factors(insertion depth,flow rate,and permeability)on the negative pressure difference and measured exhalation rate were quantified,and multivariate regression models were established,with positive correlations in most cases;the exhalation rate decreased with increasing insertion depth at a permeability of 1×10^(−11) m^(2).CFD-based simulations can provide theoretical guidance for improving the flow-through method and thus achieve accurate measurements.

A full-parameter constrained parsimonious subspace identification method that incorporates the steady-state a priori infor-mation of the system is proposed to model the DC-DC converters.A parsimonious model with fewer parameters is used to represent the system,and then an optimal weighted methods is used to estimate the system parameters matrices by taking into account both dynamical data and steady-state *** with traditional data-driven methods for DC-DC convert-ers,the subspace-based method can simultaneously estimate model structure and parameter with appropriate computational ***,compared with the traditional full-parameter constrained subspace approach,the proposed algorithm can accurately estimate the system parameters with a smaller *** experimental results on a DC-DC synchronous buck converter verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.
