An Effective Approach for the Preparation of High Performance Thermal Conductive Polymer Composites Containing Liquid Metal

The preparation of high-performance thermal conductive composites containing liquid metals(LM)has attracted significant ***,the stable dispersion of LM within polymer solution and effective property contribution of liquid metals remains significant challenges that need to be *** by the properties of the dendritic structure of the tree root system in grasping the soil,“shear-induced precipitation-interfacial reset-reprotonation”processing strategy is proposed to prepare nanocomposites based on aramid micron fibers(AMFs)with hierarchical dendritic *** to the combination of van der Waals force provided by hierarchical dendritic structure,electrostatic interaction between AMFs and LM,coordinative bonding of―NH to LM,together with interfacial re-setting and multi-step protonation,several features can be achieved through such strategy:conducive to the local filler network construction,improvement of interfacial interaction,improvement of the stability of filler dispersion in the solvent,and enhancement of mechanical and thermal properties of the *** resulting AMFsp H=4/LM films demonstrate a thermal conductivity of 10.98 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)at 70%filler content,improvement of 126.8%compared to ANFs/LM film;while maintaining a strength of~85.88 MPa,improvement of 77%compared to AMFs/LM *** also possess insulation properties,enable heat dissipation for high power *** work provides an effective strategy for the preparation of high performance polymer composites containing liquid metal.

Active tuning of anisotropic phonon polaritons in natural van der Waals crystals with negative permittivity substrates and its application in energy transport

Phonon polaritons(PhPs)exhibit directional in-plane propagation and ultralow losses in van der Waals(vdW)crystals,offering new possibilities for controlling the flow of light at the ***,these PhPs,including their directional propagation,are inherently determined by the anisotropic crystal structure of the host *** in-plane anisotropic PhPs can be manipulated by twisting engineering,such as twisting individual vdW slabs,dynamically adjusting their propagation presents a significant *** limited application of the twisted bilayer structure in bare films further restricts its *** this study,we present a technique in which anisotropic PhPs supported by bare biaxial vdW slabs can be actively tuned by modifying their local dielectric ***,we predict that the iso-frequency contour of PhPs can be reoriented to enable propagation along forbidden directions when the crystal is placed on a substrate with a moderate negative ***,we systematically investigate the impact of polaritonic coupling on near-field radiative heat transfer(NFRHT)between heterostructures integrated with different substrates that have negative *** main findings reveal that through the analysis of dispersion contour and photon transmission coefficient,the excitation and reorientation of the fundamental mode facilitate increased photon tunneling,thereby enhancing heat transfer between ***,the annihilation of the fundamental mode hinders heat ***,we find the enhancement or suppression of radiative energy transport depends on the relative magnitude of the slab thickness and the vacuum gap ***,the effect of negative permittivity substrates on NFRHT along the[001]crystalline direction ofα-MoO3.is *** spectral band where the excited fundamental mode resulting from the negative permittivity substrates is shifted to the first Reststrahlen Band(RB 1)ofα-MoO_(3. and

Meiotic recombination is essential for sexual reproduction and its regulation has been extensively studied in many ***,genome-wide recombination landscape has not been reported in ciliates and it remains unknown how it is affected by the unique features of ciliates:the synaptonemal complex(SC)-independent meiosis and the nuclear ***,we show the recombination landscape in the model ciliate Tetrahymena thermophila by analyzing single-nucleotide polymorphism datasets from 3. hybrid *** detect 1021 crossover(CO)events(3..8 per meiosis),corresponding to an overall CO rate of 9.9 cM/***,gene conversion by non-crossover is rare(1.03.per meiosis)and not biased towards G or C *** with the reported roles of SC in CO interference,we find no obvious sign of CO *** tends to occur within germ-soma common genomic regions and many of the 44 identified CO hotspots localize at the centromeric or subtelomeric *** ontology analyses show that CO hotspots are strongly associated with genes responding to environmental *** discuss these results with respect to how nuclear dimorphism has potentially driven the formation of the observed recombination landscape to facilitate environmental adaptation and the sharing of machinery among meiotic and somatic recombination.

Analysis of SF6 decomposed products by fibre-enhanced Raman spectroscopy for gas-insulated switchgear diagnosis

Sulphur hexafluoride(SF6)decomposed products analysis is highly critical in the earlystage fault diagnosis of gas-insulated switchgear(GIS).Spectrum technology outperforms traditional methods on non-invasiveness,no sample preparation,and no ***,the authors present an improved fibre-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(FERS)as a comprehensive analytical tool to detect a suite of SF_(6)decomposed products(SO_(2)F_(2),SOF_(2),SO_(2),H_(2)S,CF_(4),OCS,CO_(2),and CO).The FERS approach is combined with two iris diaphragms for spatial filtering and a rear-end reflector for additional Raman signal *** of detection down to 1×10^(−6)–8×10^(−6)are achieved for different SF6 decompositions,and quantification of an undefined multigas,sampled from an 800 kV GIS in service,is realised utilising SF6 as the internal standard gas and with a maximum error of 5.5%.The GIS is diagnosed according to the results and confirmed by an on-site *** authors foresee that this technique will provide a route for trace gas analysis in the power industry.

Noise‐tolerant matched filter scheme supplemented with neural dynamics algorithm for sea island extraction

Achieving high‐precision extraction of sea islands from high‐resolution satellite remote sensing images is crucial for effective resource development and sustainable ***,achieving such accuracy for sea island extraction presents significant challenges due to the presence of extensive background interference.A more widely applicable noise‐tolerant matched filter(NTMF)scheme is proposed for sea island extraction based on the MF *** NTMF scheme effectively suppresses the background interference,leading to more accurate and robust sea island *** further enhance the accuracy and robustness of the NTMF scheme,a neural dynamics algorithm is supplemented that adds an error integration feedback term to counter noise interference during internal computer operations in practical *** comparative experiments were conducted on various remote sensing images of sea islands under different noisy working conditions to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed neural dynamics algorithm‐assisted NTMF *** experiments confirm the ad-vantages of using the NTMF scheme for sea island extraction with the assistance of neural dynamics algorithm.

Optimizing FeCoNiCrTi high-entropy alloy with hydrogen pumping effect to boost de/hydrogenation performance of magnesium hydride

The exploration of efficient,long-lived and cost-effective transition metal catalysts is highly desirable for the practical hydrogen storage of magnesium hydride(MgH_(2)) in sustainable energy ***,FeCoNiCrTi high-entropy alloy(HEA) nanosheets were prepared via a facile wet chemical ball milling strategy and they were introduced into MgH_(2) to boost the hydrogen storage *** refined HEA exhibited superior catalytic activity on MgH_(2).In contrast to additive-free MgH_(2),the initial desorption temperature of the constructed MgH_(2)-HEA composite was reduced from 3.0.0 to 198.5℃ and a remarkable 51% reduction in the dehydrogenation activation energy was ***,the MgH_(2)-HEA composite only required one-twentieth time of that consumed by pure MgH_(2) to absorb 5.0 wt% of H_(2) at 225℃.The synergy between the "hydrogen pumping" effect of Mg_2Ni/Mg_2NiH_4 and Mg_2Co/Mg_2CoH_5 couples,as well as the good dispersion of Fe,Cr and Ti on the surface of MgH_(2) contributed to the enhanced de/hydrogenation performance of the MgH_(2)-HEA *** study furnishes important steering for the design and fabrication of multiple transition metal catalysts and may push the commercial application of magnesium-based hydrides one step forward.

The vast amount of data generated by large-scale open online course platforms provide a solid foundation for the analysis of learning behavior in the field of *** study utilizes the historical and final learning behavior data of over 3.0000 learners from 17 courses offered on the edX platform by Harvard University and the Massachusetts institute of Technology during the 2012-2013.academic *** have developed a spike neural network to predict learning outcomes,and analyzed the correlation between learning behavior and outcomes,aiming to identify key learning behaviors that significantly impact these *** goal is to monitor learning progress,provide targeted references for evaluating and improving learning effectiveness,and implement intervention measures *** results demonstrate that the prediction model based on online learning behavior using spiking neural network achieves an impressive accuracy of 99.80%.The learning behaviors that predominantly affect learning effectiveness are found to be students’academic performance and level of participation.

Precise immobilization of metal single atoms into a porphyrinic metal-organic framework for an efficient alkene hydrosilylation

Alkene hydrosilylation is one of the most concise and atom-economical methods to synthesize organosilicon ***,we reported the precise immobilization of metal single atoms(M-SAs;M=Ru,Rh,Ir,Pd,Pt,and Au)into a porphyrinic metalorganic framework(MOF)of PCN-222(PCN=porous coordination network),and then applied the resultant MOF composites of M-SAs@PCN-222 to alkene *** solvent-free conditions,Pt-SAs@PCN-222 displayed an especially high catalytic efficiency with the turnover frequency up to 119 s−1 and the maximum turnover number of 906,250 at room *** and theoretical studies revealed that there existed strong interactions between Pt-SAs@PCN-222 and the substrates,which helped to condense the substrates in the cavities of the porous *** density functional theory calculations and molecular dynamics simulations disclosed that PCN-222 could transfer electrons to Pt-SAs to enhance the silane oxidative addition and drive the reaction to proceed smoothly via Chalk–Harrod pathway.
