Diabetic nephropathy(DN)is a severe complication of diabetes,characterized by changes in kidney structure and function.The natural product rosmarinic acid(RA)has demonstrated therapeutic effects,including anti-inflammation and anti-oxidative-stress,in renal damage or dysfunction.In this study,we characterized the heterogeneity of the cellular response in kidneys to DN-induced injury and RA treatment at single cell levels.Our results demonstrated that RA significantly alleviated renal tubular epithelial injury,particularly in the proximal tubular S1 segment and on glomerular epithelial cells known as podocytes,while attenuating the inflammatory response of macrophages,oxidative stress,and cytotox-icity of natural killer cells.These findings provide a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms by which RA alleviates kidney damage,oxidative stress,and inflammation,offering valuable guidance for the clinical application of RA in the treatment of DN.

How precipitation and grazing influence the ecological functions of drought-prone grasslands on the northern slopes of the Tianshan Mountains, China?

Drought-prone grasslands provide a critical resource for the millions of people who are dependent on livestock for food security.However,this ecosystem is potentially vulnerable to climate change(e.g.,precipitation)and human activity(e.g.,grazing).Despite this,the influences of precipitation and grazing on ecological functions of drought-prone grasslands in the Tianshan Mountains remain relatively unexplored.Therefore,we conducted a systematic field investigation and a clipping experiment(simulating different intensities of grazing)in a drought-prone grassland on the northern slopes of the Tianshan Mountains in China to examine the influences of precipitation and grazing on aboveground biomass(AGB),soil volumetric water content(SVWC),and precipitation use efficiency(PUE)during the period of 2014–2017.We obtained the meteorological and SVWC data using an HL20 Bowen ratio system and a PR2 soil profile hydrometer,respectively.We found that AGB was clearly affected by both the amount and seasonal pattern of precipitation,and that PUE may be relatively low in years with either low or excessive precipitation.The PUE values were generally higher in the rapid growing season(April–July)than in the entire growing season(April–October).Overall,moderate grazing can promote plant growth under water stress conditions.The SVWC value was higher in the clipped plots than in the unclipped plots in the rapid growing season(April–July),but it was lower in the clipped plots than in the unclipped plots in the slow growing season(August–October).Our findings can enhance the understanding of the ecological effects of precipitation and grazing in drought-prone grasslands and provide data that will support the effective local grassland management.

急性肾损伤(acute kidney injury,AKI)是威胁健康的急重症,在临床工作中常见。AKI的发生往往延长患者康复时间并降低其长期生活质量。由于缺乏特定的治疗手段,早诊断并对症治疗是提高AKI患者预后的关键。血清镁浓度的变化与AKI的发生及预后存在一定关联,并在AKI的诊断及治疗中发挥重要作用。本文就镁的分布与稳态调节、血清镁与AKI的相关性及镁离子紊乱诱发AKI的可能机制进行介绍,并列举了镁补充剂在AKI防治中的应用实例,旨在加强临床医师对人体镁稳态的认识,及时纠正镁失衡以改善AKI患者的预后。

The fractal dimensions of turbulent round jets in steady crossflow has beenanalyzed by using planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) method. The relation betweenthe fractal dimension and the momentum ratio, the variation of the fractal dimension withthe elevation of jet and the dilution have been investigated. The comparison of the fractalcharacteristics between the multiple jets and the signal jet has been carried out.

This paper mainly replies to the discussion by Li et al （2009） on the calculation of the detachment depths in the Kuqa Depression. We think that viscous material flowing into or out of the cross section can affect the validity of the calculation method, yet the number of detachment levels does not bring any drawbacks to the calculation. In the Kuqa Depression, the salt flow influenced the structural deformation to some extent, and affected slightly the accuracy of the calculated depths of the true detachment levels. However, it does not mean that the calculation method loses effectiveness in the study area. Therefore, the calculation results are still relatively believable.

在新疆开展长时间序列的草地监测,分析草地生长的时空变化特征,有利于草地环境压力分析和草地生态健康预测。以NOAA-AVHRR NDVI为数据源,采用最大值合成、一元回归分析与相关性分析,分别在年际尺度和多个空间尺度(全疆、南北疆与各地区及其11种草地类型)上探讨了1981—2018年新疆草地归一化植被指数(NDVI)时空特征及其对气温、降水的响应。结果表明:(1)1981—2018年,新疆草地NDVI多年均值0.326,变化范围0.259—0.386,具有轻微年际波动特征;(2)北疆、南疆草地NDVI均表现为轻微增加趋势;全疆占草地总面积41%的区域NDVI呈显著增加趋势,9%为显著减少区域,北疆草地NDVI显著增加的面积是南疆的1.7倍;(3)由于垂直地带性及区域差异,新疆草地NDVI由山区向盆地的荒漠降低;北疆草地NDVI是南疆1.4倍,总体上北疆各地区草地NDVI高于南疆各地区;(4)草地类型植被NDVI对降水的显著响应高于气温,其中温性荒漠类、温性荒漠草原类与温性草原类草地NDVI对降水变化的响应明显高于其余草地类型,降水对草地NDVI的影响更为显著,表明降水引起的地表水分变化是草地植被生长的重要限制因子。

基于MOD17A3HGF NPP(Net primary productivity)与气温、降水量等数据,采用趋势分析与偏相关分析,在多个尺度(全疆、北疆与南疆、各地州市与11种草地类型)探讨了2000-2018年新疆天然草地NPP时空动态及其对气候变化的响应。结果表明:近20 a新疆草地NPP呈波动递增,多年均值为0.103 kg C·m^(-2),由准噶尔西部山地、伊犁河谷、天山、阿尔泰山向准噶尔盆地、塔里木盆地逐渐降低;北疆草地多年平均NPP(0.149 kg C·m^(-2))高于南疆(0.055 kg C·m^(-2)),北疆、南疆草地NPP均表现为增加趋势;各地、州、市草地NPP总体为增加,但年际变化分异明显;11种天然草地类型(除高寒荒漠类)NPP表现为递增趋势,但不同草地类型存在差异。2000年后,新疆气候暖湿化有利于草地植被生长,但降水年际变化增强导致草地NPP年际波动剧烈。研究结果为新疆天然草地碳收支评估提供基础数据,能够促进天然草地健康评价以及可持续利用。

基于NOAA-AVHRR NDVI数据,采用最大值合成法、回归分析法与相关分析法,探讨了1981~2020年昆仑山-阿尔金山草地归一化植被指数(NDVI)时空变化及其对气温、降水的响应。结果显示:1981~2020年,昆仑山-阿尔金山草地NDVI具有时序波动,在1989~1994年、1995~2000年与2006~2020年草地NDVI表现为显著增加。草地NDVI自西向东逐渐递减,多年均值为0.227(±0.037),相较于1981年(0.213),2020年(0.257)增加了0.044;过去40年,占昆仑山-阿尔金山草地总面积15.00%的草地NDVI呈显著增加,13.00%为显著减少。1981~2020年,昆仑山-阿尔金山气候变化以“暖湿化”(面积占比为48.02%)为主,草地NDVI与气温表现为正相关,与降水呈负相关,与气温、降水呈显著正相关的草地面积占比分别为18.00%、2.00%,呈显著负相关的面积占比分别为2.00%、11.00%。高寒草原类、温性荒漠类呈“暖湿化”的面积占比分别为18.06%、11.04%,相应的草地NDVI呈显著增加的面积占比分别为14.18%、16.82%;温性荒漠类对气温、降水呈显著正响应的面积占比分别为3.28%、0.60%;高寒草原类与气温呈显著正相关的面积占比为6.77%,与降水呈显著负相关的面积占比为4.94%。昆仑山北坡气温上升与适度的降水增加有利于草地植被生长,但降水的过度增加可能导致滑坡、泥石流,破坏草地生境,影响草地植被生长。

草地是重要的陆地生态系统类型,草地生态系统健康评价是干旱区草地健康研究的重要组成部分。新疆位于中亚干旱区,典型的"山盆"地形结构孕育的天然草地具有鲜明的垂直地带性,又因水热组合差异形成了丰富多样的草地类型,这使得新疆草地生态系统健康评价成为一项系统的复杂工作,急需构建适用于新疆的草地生态系统健康评价体系。本研究以新疆草地生态系统为研究对象,构建新疆草地生态系统健康评价总体框架,从数据来源与评价方法阐述了新疆草地生态系统健康评价体系。基于草地样方、生物气象与多源遥感数据建立草地生态系统基础数据库,针对草地健康评价方法,明确评价目标,确定评价区域与参照系统,进而筛选评价指标,最后通过选择评价方法开展草地健康评价,采用四分法将评价结果划分为健康、亚健康、警戒与崩溃。采用该体系在新疆和田地区民丰县开展草地生态系统健康评价,结果显示围栏内的温性荒漠类草地处于健康状态,围栏外的温性荒漠类草地为亚健康状态。通过构建新疆草地生态系统健康评价体系,能够为基层草原部门开展草地生态健康评价提供参考,促进草地可持续发展。
