Lysine-specific demethylase 4 A(KDM4A,also named JMJD2A,KIA0677,or JHDM3A)is a demethylase that can remove methyl groups from histones H3K9me2/3,H3K36me2/3,and H1.4K26me2/me3.Accumulating evidence suggests that KDM4A is not only involved in body homeostasis(such as cell proliferation,migration and differentiation,and tissue development)but also associated with multiple human diseases,especially cancers.Recently,an increasing number of studies have shown that pharmacological inhibition of KDM4A significantly attenuates tumor progression in vitro and in vivo in a range of solid tumors and acute myeloid leukemia.Although there are several reviews on the roles of the KDM4 subfamily in cancer development and therapy,all of them only briefly introduce the roles of KDM4A in cancer without systematically summarizing the specific mechanisms of KDM4A in various physiological and pathological processes,especially in tumorigenesis,which greatly limits advances in the understanding of the roles of KDM4A in a variety of cancers,discovering targeted selective KDM4A inhibitors,and exploring the adaptive profiles of KDM4A antagonists.Herein,we present the structure and functions of KDM4A,simply outline the functions of KDM4A in homeostasis and non-cancer diseases,summarize the role of KDM4A and its distinct target genes in the development of a variety of cancers,systematically classify KDM4A inhibitors,summarize the difficulties encountered in the research of KDM4A and the discovery of related drugs,and provide the corresponding solutions,which would contribute to understanding the recent research trends on KDM4A and advancing the progression of KDM4A as a drug target in cancer therapy.

Social dysfunction is a risk factor for several neuropsychiatric illnesses.Previous studies have shown that the lateral septum(LS)-related pathway plays a critical role in mediating social behaviors.Howeve r,the role of the connections between the LS and its downstream brain regions in social behavio rs remains unclea r.In this study,we conducted a three-chamber test using electrophysiological and chemogenetic approaches in mice to determine how LS projections to ventral CA1(vCA1)influence sociability.Our res ults showed that gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA)-e rgic neuro ns were activated following social experience,and that social behavio rs were enhanced by chemogenetic modulation of these neurons.Moreover,LS GABAergic neurons extended their functional neural connections via vCA1 glutamatergic pyramidal neurons,and regulating LSGABA→vCA1Gluneural projections affected social behaviors,which were impeded by suppressing LSprojecting vCA1 neuronal activity or inhibiting GABAAreceptors in vCA1.These findings support the hypothesis that LS inputs to the vCA1 can control social prefe rences and social novelty behaviors.These findings provide new insights rega rding the neural circuits that regulate sociability.

Single-atom Fe Embedded Co_(3)S_(4) for Efficient Electrocatalytic Oxygen Evolution Reaction

Constructing atomically dispersed active sites with densely exposed and dispersed double metal-Sx catalytic sites for favorable OER catalytic activity remains rare and challenging.Herein,we design and construct a Fe_(1)S_(x)@Co_(3)S_(4) electrocatalyst with Fe single atoms epitaxially confined in Co_(3)S_(4) nanosheets for catalyzing the sluggish alkaline oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Consequently,in ultralow concentration alkaline solutions(0.1 mol/L KOH),such a catalyst is highly active and robust for OER with low overpotentials of 300 and 333 mV at current densities of 10 and 30 mA/cm^(2),respectively,accompanying long-term stability without significant degradation even for 350 h.In addition,Fe_(1)S_(x)@Co_(3)S_(4) shows a turnover frequency(TOF)value of 0.18 s−1,nearly three times that of Co_(3)S_(4)(0.07 s−1),suggesting the higher atomic utilization of Fe single atoms.Mössbauer and in-situ Raman spectra confirm that the OER activity of Fe_(1)S_(x)@Co_(3)S_(4) origins from a thin catalytic layer of Co(Fe)OOH that interacts with trace-level Fe species in the electrolyte,creating dynamically stable active sites.Combined with experimental characterizations,it suggests that the most active S-coordinated dual-metal site configurations are 2S-bridged(Fe-Co)S4,in which Co-S and Fe-S moieties are shared with two S atoms,which can strongly regulate the adsorption energy of reaction intermediates,accelerating the OER reaction kinetics.

基于GNSS观测数据,采用球面最小二乘配置方法计算了新疆及邻区的应变率张量特征,在统计分析研究区域应变率分布以及1900—2022年M≥6.0地震分布之间的关系的基础上,研究了GNSS应变率特征对强震地点的指示意义。通过构建三维弹性块体模型反演得到的区内主要断裂的运动变形特征,结合震源机制解结果,对比分析了断裂运动变形特征与不同区域强震类型之间的关系。结果表明:天山西段—帕米尔地区、阿尔金断裂带邻近地区呈现第二应变率高值特征,其中帕米尔构造结附近高值特性最明显;最大剪应变率方向在南天山西段—帕米尔地区主要为NE-NEE向,反映了该区以倾滑变形为主的特征。研究区域的M≥6.0地震主要分布在应变率高值区及其边缘,特别是帕米尔构造结东部地区的强震集中非常明显。区内断裂运动性质具有明显的分类特征,除整体以挤压运动为主外,NE走向断裂带以左旋走滑运动为主,NW走向的断裂以右旋走滑运动为主。NE走向的柯坪、迈丹和那拉提断裂带与NW走向的克孜勒陶、塔拉斯—费尔干纳断裂带汇集的南天山西段和帕米尔西构造结东部地区强震密集分布,强震的震源机制类型与断层运动方式较为一致。

Analysis of the Motion and Deformation Characteristics along the Zhangjiakou-Bohai Fault

We have collected GPS data in the period of 1999-2007 from the Crustal Motion Observation Network of China along the Zhangjiakou-Bohai fault and its adjacent regions to study the characteristics of present-day crustal horizontal motion velocities in the research zone.Strain rate components are computed in the spheric coordinate system by the least square collocation method.According to the spatial distribution of the principal strain rate,dilation rate and maximum shear strain rate derived from GPS measurements,this paper analyses the deformation of the subordinary faults of the Zhangjiakou-Bohai fault.The principal compression strain rates are apparently greater than the principal extension strain rates.The larger shear strain rate is mainly in and around the Xianghe,Wenan and Tangshan areas in Hebei Province.According to the profiles across different segments of the Zhangjiakou-Bohai fault,the three segments glong the Zhangjiakou-Bohai fault show an obviously left-lateal strike-slip and compression characteristics.By analysis of the motion characteristics of the blocks,e.***.the Yanshan block,North China Plain block,Ordos block,and Ludong-Huanghai block in and around the North China region,this paper speculates that the dynamics of the motion styles of Zhangjiakou-Bohai fault may directly come from the relative movement between the Yanshan block and the North China plain block,and the ultimate dynamics may be the results of the collison between Indian plate and Eurasian plate,and the persistent northeastward extrusion of the Indian plate.

Horizontal Normal Force on Buried Rigid Pipelines in Fluctuant Liquefied Silty Soil

The submarine pipelines that are buried in the Yellow River subaqueous delta can be subject to fluctuant local-liquefied soil caused by storm wave action, possibly causing pipeline damage. An experimental investigation was carried out in a wave flume to study the horizontal normal force on buried rigid pipelines in fluctuant liquefied soil. In this experiment, the soil bed was made of silt from the Yellow River Delta, whereas a steel pipe served as pipeline. Under the experimental conditions, the normal force range on the pipeline in fluctuant liquefied soil was several times higher than that in stable soil, specifically on the side of the pipeline exposed to the wave direction. The resultant force of the horizontal normal forces on the buried pipeline grew by about one order of magnitude after soil liquefaction.

Crust Shortening of the Daliangshan Tectonic Zone in the Cenozoic Era and Its Implications

The Daliangshan tectonic zone is a rhombic area to the east of the Anninghe and Zemuhe fault zones in the middle segment of the Xianshuihe-Xiaojiang fault system along the southeast margin of the Qinghai-Xizang(Tibet)Plateau.Since the Cenozoic era,the neotectonic deformation in the Daliangshan tectonic zone has presented not only sinistral slip and reverse faulting along the Daliangshan fault zone,but also proximate SN-trending crust shortening.It is estimated that the average crust shortening in the Daliangshan tectonic zone is 10.9±1.6 km,with a shortening rate of 17.8±2.2% using the method of balanced cross-sections.The crust shortening from folding occurred mainly in the Miocene and the Pliocene periods,lasting no more than 8.6 Ma.Based on this,a crust shortening velocity of 1.3±0.2 mm/a can be estimated.Compared with the left offset along the Daliangshan fault zone,it is recognized that crust shortening by folding plays an important part in transferring crustal deformation southeastward along the Xianshuihe-Xiaojiang fault system.

AngioJet血栓清除与CDT在急性下肢深静脉血栓治疗中的效果对比

目的对比分析AngioJet血栓清除与导管接触性溶栓(catheterdirected thrombolysis,CDT)治疗在急性下肢深静脉血栓中的效果。方法回顾性分析三明市永安总医院血管外科2017年1月—2022年1月收治的76例急性下肢深静脉血栓患者的临床资料。其中34例应用AngioJet血栓清除,作为AngioJet组;42例应用CDT治疗,作为CDT组。对比分析2组患者的血栓清除率、溶栓时间、尿激酶用量、住院时间、术后并发症发生率、12个月随访维拉塔评分(Villalta score,Villalta)的差异。结果AngioJet组Ⅰ级清除0例,Ⅱ级清除8例,Ⅲ级清除26例,CDT组Ⅰ级清除5例,Ⅱ级清除14例,Ⅲ级清除23例,AngioJet组血栓清除率优于CDT组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);2组在溶栓时间、尿激酶用量、住院时间和术后血红蛋白尿发生率上比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论AngioJet血栓清除疗效优于CDT,能明显减少溶栓时间和尿激酶用量,缩短住院时间。

Preseismic deformation associated with the 2014 Ms7.3 Yutian earthquake derived from GPS data

Based on analysis of the GPS data during 1999-2007,2009-2011,and 2011-2013 mainly from the Crustal Motion Observation Network of China,we obtained the GPS horizontal velocity field,the GPS strain rate field,and the profiles across the southwestern segment of the Altyn Tagh Fault zone and its adjacent regions and identified the different characteristics of horizontal crustal deformation fields and profiles during different periods. The results show that,before the February 12,2014,Ms7. 3 Yutian earthquake,the laevorotation deformation along the southwestern segment of the Altyn Tagh Fault zone increased about 3. 3 mm /a during 2011-2013,relative to that in 2009-2011,and the GPS strain rate field distributed in the southeastern segment of the Altyn Tagh Fault during 2011-2013 increased obviously. These abnormal changes may be regarded as precursors to the Ms7. 3 Yutian earthquake.
