Background Grasslands in drylands are increasingly influenced by human activities and climate change, leading to alterations in albedo and radiative energy balance among others. Surface biophysical properties and their interactions change greatly following disturbances. However, our understanding of these processes and their climatic impacts remains limited. In this study, we used multi-year observations from satellites and eddy-covariance towers to investigate the response of albedo to variables closely associated with human disturbances, including vegetation greenness（EVI） and surface soil volumetric water content（VWC）, as well as snow cover and clearness index（Ta） for their potential *** EVI and VWC during the growing season were the primary factors influencing albedo. EVI and VWC were negatively correlated with albedo, with VWC's total direct and indirect impacts being slightly smaller than those of EVI. During the non-growing season, snow cover was the most influential factor on albedo. VWC and Ta negatively affected albedo throughout the year. We estimated the impact of variations in EVI and VWC on climate to be in the range of 0.004 to 0.1.3.kg CO2m-2yr-1.n *** This study indicates the significant impacts of climate change and human disturbances on vulnerable grassland ecosystems from the perspective of altered albedo. Changes in vegetation greenness and soil properties induced by climate change and human activities may have a substantial impact on albedo, which in turn feedback on climate change, indicating that future climate policies should take this factor into consideration.

The rapid synthesis of structurally complicated electron donors&acceptors still remains a major challenge in organic solar cells(OSC).In this work,we developed a highly efficient strategy to access long-chain oligomeric donor and acceptors for OSC applications.A series of cyclopentadithiophene(CPDT)and benzothiadiazole(BT)-basedπ-conjugated oligomers,i.e.,three oligomeric acceptors(BTDT)n-IC(n=1.3.and one long-chain oligomeric donor(BTDT)4-RD,are facilely synthesized by an atom-and step-economical,and labor-saving direct C—H arylation(DACH)reaction(i.e.,C—H/C—Br cross coupling).Note that(BTDT)4-RD involving five CPDT,four BT and two rhodamine(RD)building blocks is the longest oligomeric donor in the fullerene-free OSC devices ever *** dependence of the structure-property-performance correlation of(BTDT)n-IC(n=1.3.and(BTDT)4-RD on theπ-conjugation lengths is thoroughly investigated by opto-electrochemical measurements,bulk heterojunction(BHJ)OSC devices and ***(BTDT)1.IC:PBDB-T and(BTDT)4-RD:Y6 BHJs achieve power conversion efficiencies of 9.1.%and 4.51.,*** findings demonstrate that DACH reaction is a powerful tool to tune the opto-electronic properties and device performances by regulating the lengths ofπ-conjugated oligomers with varied numbers of repeating units.

Generally shortened 3.UTR due to alternative polyadenylation(APA)is widely observed in cancer,but its regulation mechanisms for cancer are not well ***,with profiling of APA in colorectal cancer tissues and poly(A)signal editing,we firstly identified that the shortened 3.UTR of CTNNIBP1.in colorectal cancer promotes cell proliferation and *** found that liquid-liquid phase separation(LLPS)of PABPN1.is reduced albeit with higher expression in cancer,and the reduction of LLPS leads to the shortened 3.UTR of CTNNBIP1.nd promotes cell proliferation and ***,the splicing factor SNRPD2 upregulated in colorectal cancer,can interact with glutamic-proline(EP)domain of PABPN1.and then disrupt LLPS of PABPN1.which attenuates the repression effect of PABPN1.on the proximal poly(A)*** results firstly reveal a new regulation mechanism of APA by disruption of LLPS of PABPN1.suggesting that regulation of APA by interfering LLPS of 3.end processing factor may have the potential as a new way for the treatment of cancer.

Chloride solid electrolytes(SEs)have attracted widespread attention due to their high room-temperature ionic conductivity and excellent cathode ***,the conventionally selected central metal elements(e.g.,In,Y and Ta)are usually rare and heavy,inevitably causing the high cost and high density of the obtained chloride ***,by choosing abundant and light Mg and Al as central metal elements,we develop a cheap and low density Li_(1.2)Mg_(0.95)Al_(0.3.Cl_(4)SE for high active material ratio in all solid state *** replacement of Mg^(2+)by Al^(3.)in the framework yields vacancies and lowers the non-lithium metal ions occupancy at Mg/Li co-occupied 1.d site,effectively relieving the blocking effects by Mg^(2+)in the pristine spinel Li_(2-2x)Mg_(1.x)Cl_(4).Thus,a significantly improved room-temperature conductivity of 3.08×1.^(-4)S·cm^(-1.is achieved,two orders of magnitude higher than that of Li_(1.2)Mg_(1.4)Cl_(4).More attractively,its low density of only 1.98 g·cm-3.enables low SE mass ratio in cathodes(only 1. wt.%)with still effective electrolyte/cathode contact and lithium-ion conduction *** charged to potential of 4.3. V,the asfabricated Li_(1.2)Mg_(0.95)Al_(0.3.Cl_(4)-based solid lithium battery with uncoated NCM523.cathode can be cycled for over 1.0 cycles with a capacity retention of 86.68%at room temperature.
