Targeting deubiquitinase OTUB1 protects vascular smooth muscle cells in atherosclerosis by modulating PDGFRβ

Atherosclerosis is a chronic artery disease that causes various types of cardiovascular *** smooth muscle cells(VSMCs),the main components of atherosclerotic plaque,switch from contractile to synthetic phenotypes during *** is crucial in regulating VSMC phenotypes in atherosclerosis,and it can be reversely regulated by ***,the specific effects of deubiquitinases on atherosclerosis have not been thoroughly *** this study,RNAi screening in human aortic smooth muscle cells was performed to explore the effects of OTU family deubiquitinases,which revealed that silencing OTUB1 inhibited PDGF-BB-stimulated VSMC phenotype *** in vivo studies using Apoe−/−mice revealed that knockdown of OTUB1 in VSMCs alleviated atherosclerosis plaque burden in the advanced stage and led to a stable plaque ***,VSMC proliferation and migration upon PDGF-BB stimulation could be inhibited by silencing OTUB1 in *** RNA-sequencing data indicated that knocking down OTUB1 influenced VSMC differentiation,adhesion,and *** spectrometry of ubiquitinated protein confirmed that proteins related to cell growth and migration were differentially ***,we found that OTUB1 recognized the K707 residue ubiquitylation of PDGFRβwith its catalytic triad,thereby reducing the K48-linked ubiquitylation of PDGFRβ.Inhibiting OTUB1 in VSMCs could promote PDGFRβdegradation via the ubiquitin–proteasome pathway,so it was beneficial in preventing VSMCs’phenotype *** findings revealed that knocking down OTUB1 ameliorated VSMCs’phenotype switch and atherosclerosis progression,indicating that OTUB1 could be a valuable translational therapeutic target in the future.

为了解决传统无线电收发系统硬件结构复杂、收发带宽小、灵活性及可扩展性差、功能单一等问题,提出了一种基于高性能捷变收发器ADRV9009及Kintex-7 FPGA的软件无线电收发系统的设计与实现方法。该高性能软件无线电收发系统主要由高带宽射频单元、数字信号处理单元以及外设单元三大部分构成,能够灵活配置发射接收频点、带宽等参数,具有良好的射频性能。与传统的软件无线电平台相比,具有体积小、灵活性及可扩展性强、应用场景丰富等特点,有望在移动通信、卫星通信等领域得到广泛应用。

Metasurface doublet-integrated bidirectional grating antenna enabling enhanced wavelength-tuned beam steering

We propose and demonstrate an optical phased-array-based bidirectional grating antenna(BDGA) in silicon nitride *** BDGA is integrated with a miniaturized all-dielectric metasurface doublet(MD) formed on a glass *** BDGA device,which takes advantage of alternately feeding light to its ports in opposite directions,is presumed to effectively provide a doubled wavelength-tuned steering efficiency compared to its unidirectional *** MD,which is based on vertically cascaded convex and concave metalenses comprising circular hydrogenated amorphous silicon nanopillars,is meticulously placed atop the BDGA chip to accept and deflect a beam emanating from the emission area,thereby boosting the beam-steering *** manufactured BDGA could achieve an enhanced beam-steering efficiency of 0.148 deg/nm as well as a stable spectral emission response in the wavelength range of 1530–1600 *** deploying a fabricated MD atop the silicon photonic BDGA chip,the steering efficiency was confirmed to be boosted by a factor of ~3.1,reaching 0.461 deg/nm,as intended.

SAR motion compensation based on the correction of residual attitude errors

As residual attitude errors are likely to affect the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging, this paper presents a SAR motioncompensation algorithm based on the correction of residual attitude errors. The existing methods all use the antenna stableplatform to correct the attitude errors, and then compensate the trajectory deviations in the following imaging process. Besidescompensating the trajectory deviations, the modified method of this paper also considers the influence of residual attitude er-rors on the SAR imaging, and can compensate both the trajectory deviations and the residual attitude errors. Compared withthe existing methods, the modified method in this paper can more precisely compensate the imperfect motion on the SAR im-aging, especially good for the SAR system with a small platform, near operating distance and a narrow antenna beam. Such asystem causes severe residual attitude errors and needs to consider the influence of antenna beam pointing errors on the imag-ing. The validity of the modified method presented by this paper is demonstrated by the result of the experiment.

An overview and perspective of identifying lunar craters

The spatiotemporal evolution of lunar impact craters is crucial for investigating lunar interior structure,internal and external dynamic processes,and interplanetary impact *** in lunar crater identification are reviewed based on topography and gravity data,and the features and mechanisms of topographic or buried craters are analyzed regarding morphology,gravity anomalies,gravity gradients,and the underlying crust-mantle interface *** on the compiled crater catalog,the early lunar impact flux and thermal evolution are further discussed according to the basin ages and their interior *** some ancient impact basins,the crater size-frequency distribution measurements revealed age discrepancies from previous studies,suggesting that the lunar late heavy bombardment event started at~3.95 *** degraded bulge structures of the crust-mantle interface beneath mare basins reveal that these basins formed on the lunar crust surface under high-temperature conditions and underwent prolonged relaxation compared to highland ***,we reveal that the up-to-date identification of lunar buried craters remains inaccurate and incomplete,preventing us from accurately reconstructing lunar and interplanetary impact ***,we propose that a gravity model constructed using localized orthogonal basis functions can be useful for identifying lunar craters.

A super-resolution algorithm for synthetic aperture radar based on modified spatially variant apodization

The existing spatially variant apodizations(SVAs) either cannot depress the sidelobes effectively or reduce the energy of the *** improve this,a modified SVA(MSVA) is put forward in this paper,which expands the traditional filter from 3-taps to 5-taps and sets relevant parameters according to different sampling rates to get the excellent result that satisfies constrained optimization theory.A modified super-SVA is also presented,which compares the result after the iteration with the original signal and makes the one whose amplitude is smaller as the initial value of the next *** method can eliminate the sidelobes produced by the intermediate operation,so that the following bandwidth extrapolation is more ***-MSVA is presented based on the modified SVA and modified super-SVA,which is suitable for any Nyquist sampling rate,can extrapolate the signal bandwidth many times through iteration with a commensurate improvement in resolution,as demonstrated by the result of the experiment.

Parallel Physics-Informed Neural Networks Method with Regularization Strategies for the Forward-Inverse Problems of the Variable Coefficient Modified KdV Equation

This paper mainly introduces the parallel physics-informed neural networks(PPINNs)method with regularization strategies to solve the data-driven forward-inverse problems of the variable coefficient modified Korteweg-de Vries(VC-MKdV)*** the forward problem of the VC-MKdV equation,the authors use the traditional PINN method to obtain satisfactory data-driven soliton solutions and provide a detailed analysis of the impact of network width and depth on solving accuracy and ***,the author finds that the traditional PINN method outperforms the one with locally adaptive activation functions in solving the data-driven forward problems of the VC-MKdV *** for the data-driven inverse problem of the VC-MKdV equation,the author introduces a parallel neural networks to separately train the solution function and coefficient function,successfully addressing the function discovery problem of the VC-MKdV *** further enhance the network’s generalization ability and noise robustness,the author incorporates two regularization strategies into the *** amount of numerical experimental data in this paper demonstrates that the PPINNs method can effectively address the function discovery problem of the VC-MKdV equation,and the inclusion of appropriate regularization strategies in the PPINNs can improves its performance.

Irrigation and fertilizer interaction is an efficient cultivation management strategy for facility ***,the effects of irrigation and fertilizer management on tomato growth and its physiological factors remain *** this study,two irrigation patterns(W1,conventional irrigation;W2,water-saving irrigation)and four fertilizer application patterns(CF,chemical fertilizer;BOF,biological organic fertilizer;NPK,nutrient compound fertilizer;BOF+NPK)were selected to observe the effects of their interaction on cherry tomato plant growth,leaf photosynthesis and fruit quality through pot *** results showed that W2 treatments promoted plant height growth compared to W1 under the same fertilizer ***,irrigation and fertilizer management had significant effects on net photosynthetic rate,intercellular oxidation concentration,stomatal conductance and transpiration rate at the first sequence flowering and fruiting *** maximum tomato plant height(99.0 cm)was achieved under the irrigation and fertilizer pattern of BOF and W2,along with the highest fruit yield of 1.98 kg/plant,which was approximately 31.1%higher than the minimum yield under the combined CF and W2 *** W2 treatments,the application of either NPK or BOF increased the soluble sugar content of *** structural equation models showed that the soil alkali hydrolyzed nitrogen could directly significantly affect the yield and soluble *** findings suggest that optimization of irrigation-fertilizer interactions positively regulates tomato growth,providing an efficient model for tomato irrigation and fertilizer management and a reference for sustainable development of facility agriculture.

Deep-reinforcement-learning-based UAV autonomous navigation and collision avoidance in unknown environments

In some military application scenarios,Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)need to perform missions with the assistance of on-board cameras when radar is not available and communication is interrupted,which brings challenges for UAV autonomous navigation and collision *** this paper,an improved deep-reinforcement-learning algorithm,Deep Q-Network with a Faster R-CNN model and a Data Deposit Mechanism(FRDDM-DQN),is proposed.A Faster R-CNN model(FR)is introduced and optimized to obtain the ability to extract obstacle information from images,and a new replay memory Data Deposit Mechanism(DDM)is designed to train an agent with a better *** training,a two-part training approach is used to reduce the time spent on training as well as retraining when the scenario *** order to verify the performance of the proposed method,a series of experiments,including training experiments,test experiments,and typical episodes experiments,is conducted in a 3D simulation *** results show that the agent trained by the proposed FRDDM-DQN has the ability to navigate autonomously and avoid collisions,and performs better compared to the FRDQN,FR-DDQN,FR-Dueling DQN,YOLO-based YDDM-DQN,and original FR outputbased FR-ODQN.
