Features of the physical environment associated with green tide in the southwestern Yellow Sea during spring

Massive green tides caused by Ulva prolifera in the Yellow Sea have occurred every summer since 2007 and have caused huge economic losses for local governments. The Subei （North liangsu Province, China） Shoal, with its large-scale Porphyra aquaculture, has been regarded as the most important source of U. prolifera for green tides. To reveal the physical mechanisms of floating and drifting algae in this area, the characteristics of the current, the temperature, the salinity and suspended particulate matter （SPM） in the southwestern Yellow Sea, especially in the Subei Shoal, were studied. The topography of the radial sand ridges in the Subei Shoal constrains the features of the currents and causes net longitudinal and latitudinal movements. The longitudinal net movement is a dominant dynamic factor that can bring U. prolifera into offshore waters. The amount of gas that is produced by algae during photosynthesis determines whether U. prolifera can float well on the sea surface after it is disposed into the water from Porphyra aquacultural apparatus. The Subei Shoal is characterized by a high turbidity, which can result in significant light attenuation and affect the photosynthesis together with the buoyancy of a U. prolifera in the water. According to satellite remote sensing data from 2012, the three-month-averaged surface SPM （April, May and June） in the Subei Shoal was 140 mg/dm^3, and the north of the Subei Shoal （the north of 34.5°N）, it was 11 mg/dm^3. According to the monthly averaged surface SPM in April, the transparency in the Subei Shoal was only 0.1 m, but it often exceeded 2.0 m outside of the Subei Shoal. The results explain why the floating ability of U. prolifera increases significantly once the green algae drifted outside the Subei Shoal.

Distribution,formation and evolution of sand ridges on the East China Sea shelf

Based on the integrated results of multiple data types including MBES (Multi-Beam Echo Sounding) and historical topography maps,the LSR (Linear Sand Ridges) on the ECS (East China Sea) shelf are identified,divided into subareas,and classified.The distribution of sand ridge crests is also established.The strikes of the LSR on the ECS shelf fall in a normal distribution with the center point being 155° azimuth with additional peak points at 125°,130°,140°,and 180° azimuth.The distribution of the ECS shelf sand ridges is congested in the central area,sparse in the south and north ends,divergent and bifurcated in the eastern area,and densely convergent in the western area.The LSR are divided into seven subzones according to the strikes and distribution of the sand ridges;estuary mouth ridges and open shelf sand ridges are identified and marked out.The high amplitude change of sea level resulting from the glacial-interglacial cycle is the main cause of the vast development of sand ridges on the ECS shelf.Abundant sediments on the shelf carried by the PYR (Paleo-Yangtze River) are the material source for the LSR formation,and the negative seafloor topography influences the strikes of LSR.Based on the effects of LSR distribution,change of sea level,and the simulation of ancient tidal currents,the evolution of the LSR on the ECS shelf is divided into four main stages:Stage Ⅰ before 14.5 ka BP,Stage Ⅱ between 12 and 14 ka BP,Stage Ⅲ from 1.5 to 9.5 ka BP,and Stage Ⅳ after 9 ka BP.

High-emitter identification for heavy-duty vehicles by temporal optimization LSTM and an adaptive dynamic threshold

Heavy-duty diesel vehicles are important sources of urban nitrogen oxides(NOx)in actual applications for environmental compliance,emitting more than 80%of NOx and more than 90%of particulate matter(PM)in total vehicle emissions.The detection and control of heavy-duty diesel emissions are critical for protecting public health.Currently,vehicles on the road must be regularly tested,every six months or once a year,to filter out high-emission mobile sources at vehicle inspection stations.However,it is difficult to effectively screen high-emission vehicles in time with a long interval between annual inspections,and the fixed threshold cannot adapt to the dynamic changes of vehicle driving conditions.An on-board diagnostic device(OBD)is installed inside the vehicle and can record the vehicle’s emission data in real time.In this paper,we propose a temporal optimization long short-term memory(LSTM)and adaptive dynamic threshold approach to identify heavy-duty high-emitters by using OBD data,which can continuously track and record the emission status in real time.First,a temporal optimization LSTM emission prediction model is established to solve the attention bias discrepancy problem on time steps that is caused by the large number of OBD data streams in practice.Then,the concentration prediction error sequence is detected and distinguished from the anomalous emission contexts using flexible criteria,calculated by an adaptive dynamic threshold with changing driving conditions.Finally,a similarity metric strategy for the time series is introduced to correct some pseudo anomalous results.Experiments on three real OBD time-series emission datasets demonstrate that our method can achieve high accuracy anomalous emission identification.

关系抽取是指从文本中识别2个实体的关系。现有研究利用数据分组处理取得了良好的效果,但由于组内数据之间交互较少,因此大多忽略了组内数据之间的关联。此外,部分方法定义了较多种类的标注信息,从而导致标注信息冗余。针对上述问题,提出一种文档上下文异构表示的句子级关系抽取方法。设计基于异构图网络的文档上下文信息模块,将组内数据中的词和关系建模为图上的节点,然后通过消息传递机制将组内信息进行交互,充分表征组内数据间的关联关系;设计基于异构图网络的关系信息模块用于捕捉关系信息,其与文档上下文信息模块中异构图网络参数共享,从而节约了计算资源;设计融合标记策略,引入一种逻辑上的虚拟标签减少标签种类,缓解标注信息冗余问题。实验结果表明,所构建模型在NYT和WebNLG数据集上的F1值分别为93.2%和94.7%,在复杂场景下的8个子任务中,取得了6个子任务的最优表现,验证了所提方法的有效性。

台湾海峡是我国最大的海峡,也是东海和南海进行物质和能量交换的主要通道。海峡内地形变化剧烈,海洋动力环境复杂,加上两侧众多山溪性河流携带大量泥沙流入海洋,是研究动力沉积作用的理想场所。目前,由于缺乏海峡整体的高分辨率地形以及相关实测水文数据,以整个台湾海峡为研究区域的动力沉积模拟尚不多见。本文基于高分辨率地形和相关水文数据,建立了台湾海峡水动力数值模型,耦合泥沙输运模块,模拟台湾海峡的动力沉积过程,并用现场观测资料对模型进行了验证。动力模拟结果表明,台湾海峡的潮流流场由南、北两个潮波控制,具有明显的时间和空间特征,潮流流速夏季大于冬季,海峡中部小于南北两侧,北侧小于南侧。基于冲淤模拟结果,将台湾海峡划分为淤积区、侵蚀区、冲淤平衡区三大类共计7个沉积分区,淤积区沉积速率最大可达5 cm/a,主要集中在台湾浅滩北部,侵蚀区冲刷速率为2~5 cm/a。结合模拟结果,本文建立了台湾海峡沉积输运模式与“源-汇”格局模式,阐述了台湾海峡冲淤变化的动力学机制和“源-汇”过程。

目的:观察中医养生疗法(五行音乐联合八段锦)对气郁化火型轻中度焦虑抑郁障碍的临床效果。方法:收集2018年8月至2019年11月就诊于北京地区三家中医医院的气郁化火型轻中度抑郁和焦虑障碍患者150例,根据患者治疗方案不同分为对照组(盐酸舍曲林片50mg1次/d+丹栀逍遥散加减)和治疗组(对照组治疗+五行音乐联合八段锦疗法),各75例,疗程为8周,分别于治疗前、治疗第4周、第8周评定汉密尔顿抑郁量表(HAMD)和汉密尔顿焦虑量表(HAMA)评分。结果:两组治疗前后HAMD、HAMA量表评分及有效率比较差异有统计学意义;两组治疗前后HAMD评分因子(焦虑/躯体化、认识障碍、阻滞、睡眠障碍)、HAMA评分因子(躯体性焦虑、精神性焦虑)下降程度比较差异均有统计学意义;治疗组轻度抑郁患者第8周HAMD评分较对照组显著下降(P<0.05)。结论:中医养生疗法(五行音乐联合八段锦)在改善轻度抑郁障碍方面有一定的疗效优势,具有一定的临床意义。

A viral protein orchestrates rice ethylene signaling to coordinate viral infection and insect vector-mediated transmission

Arthropod-borne viruses cause serious threats to human health and global agriculture by rapidly spreading via insect vectors. Southern rice black-streaked dwarf virus (SRBSDV) is the most damaging rice-infecting virus that is frequently transmitted by planthoppers. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying its propagation in the host plants and epidemics in the field are largely unknown. Here, we showed that the SRBSDV-encoded P6 protein is a key effector that regulates rice ethylene signaling to coordinate viral infection and transmission. In early SRBSDV infection, P6 interacts with OsRTH2 in the cytoplasm to activate ethylene signaling and enhance SRBSDV proliferation;this also repels the insect vector to reduce infestation. In late infection, P6 enters the nucleus, where it interacts with OsEIL2, a key transcription factor of ethylene signaling. The P6-OsEIL2 interaction suppresses ethylene signaling by preventing the dimerization of OsEIL2, thereby facilitating viral transmission by attracting the insect vector. Collectively, these findings reveal a novel molecular mechanism by which an arbovirus modulates the host defense system to promote viral infection and transmission.

Hypoxia is a disorder in which the tissues are not oxygenated adequately.The lack of oxygen may cause irreversible damage to the major organs such as the brain,heart and lungs.In severe cases,coma,seizures,and death may happen.In addition to the routine medication,acupuncture.treatment has been applied as a complementary treatment to counter hypoxia.In this paper,the optical fiber acupuncture needle was fabricated using the optical fiber imbedding into the metal capillary tube with needle tip,therefore made it easy to insert into the body for the laser treatment.The laser optical fiber needle treatment to the ST36 acupoint conducted with the laser.irradiation intra body.The normobaric hypoxia tolerance test results in mice show that the optical fber needle treatment to the ST36 acupoint with laser acupuncture appears to improve the tolerance to hypoxia.The mice treated with laser acupuncture expressed high level of IL-1βin serum.Our results suggest that laser optical fiber needle acupuncture may serve as a potential treatment for hypoxia.
