Surface functionalization of Cu-based catalysts has demonstrated promising potential for enhancing the electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)toward multi-carbon(C2+)products,primarily by suppressing the parasitic hydrogen evolution reaction and facilitating a localized CO_(2)/CO concentration at the *** upon this approach,we developed surface-functionalized catalysts with exceptional activity and selectivity for electrocatalytic CO_(2)RR to C_(2+)in a neutral *** CuO nanoparticles coated with hexaethynylbenzene organic molecules(HEB-CuO NPs),a remarkable C_(2+)Faradaic efficiency of nearly 90%was achieved at an unprecedented current density of 300 mA cm^(-2),and a high FE(>80%)was maintained at a wide range of current densities(100-600 mA cm^(-2))in neutral environments using a flow ***,in a membrane electrode assembly(MEA)electrolyzer,86.14%FEC2+was achieved at a partial current density of 387.6 mA cm^(-2)while maintaining continuous operation for over 50 h at a current density of 200 mA cm^(-2).In-situ spectroscopy studies and molecular dynamics simulations reveal that reducing the coverage of coordinated K⋅H2O water increased the probability of intermediate reactants(CO)interacting with the surface,thereby promoting efficient C-C coupling and enhancing the yield of C_(2+)*** advancement offers significant potential for optimizing local micro-environments for sustainable and highly efficient C_(2+)production.

A priori estimates for classical solutions of fully nonlinear elliptic equations

For the fully nonlinear uniformly elliptic equation F(D2u) = 0, it is well known that the viscosity solutions are C2,α if the nonlinear operator F is convex (or concave). In this paper, we study the classical solutions for the fully nonlinear elliptic equation where the nonlinear operator F is locally C1,β a.e. for any 0 1. We will prove that the classical solutions u are C2,α. Moreover, the C2,α norm of u depends on n,F and the continuous modulus of D2u.

To promote the development of extracellular vesicles of herbal medicine especially the establishment of standardization,led by the National Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles,research experts in the field of herbal medicine and extracellular vesicles were invited nationwide with the support of the Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles,Professional Committee on Extracellular Vesicle Research and Application,Chinese Society of Research Hospitals and the Guangdong Engineering Research Center of Chinese Herbal *** on the collation of relevant literature,we have adopted the Delphi method,the consensus meeting method combined with the nominal group method to form a discussion draft of“Consensus statement on research and application of Chinese herbal medicine derived extracellular vesicles-like particles(2023)”.The first draft was discussed in online and offline meetings on October 12.14,November 2,2022 and April and May 2023 on the current status of research,nomenclature,isolation methods,quality standards and research applications of extracellular vesicles of Chinese herbal medicines,and 13 consensus opinions were finally *** the Third Academic Conference on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles,held on May 26,2023,Kewei Zhao,convenor of the consensus,presented and read the consensus to the experts of the Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal *** consensus highlights the characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine,inherits the essence,and keeps the righteousness and innovation,aiming to provide a reference for colleagues engaged in research and application of Chinese herbal vesicles at home and abroad,decode the mystery behind Chinese herbal vesicles together,establish a safe,effective and controllable accurate Chinese herbal vesicle prevention and treatment system,and build a bridge for Chinese medicine to the world.

The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a "whole genome shotgun" approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in china and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2.14.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the effects of mitochondrial pyruvate carrier(MPC)blockade on the sensitivity of detection and radiotherapy of prostate cancer(PCa).Methods:We investigated glycolysis reprogramming and MPC changes in patients with PCa by using metabolic profiling,RNASeq,and tissue *** blockade of pyruvate influx into mitochondria was observed in cellular studies to detect its different effects on prostate carcinoma cells and benign prostate *** mouse models were injected with an MPC inhibitor to evaluate the sensitivity of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography with computed tomography and radiotherapy of ***,the molecular mechanism of this different effect of transient blockage towards benign prostate cells and prostate cancer cells was studied in ***:MPC was elevated in PCa tissue compared with benign prostate tissue,but decreased during cancer *** transient blockade increased PCa cell proliferation while decreasing benign prostate cell proliferation,thus increasing the sensitivity of PCa cells to 18F-PET/CT(SUVavg,P=0.016;SUVmax,P=0.03)and radiotherapy(P1).This differential effect of MPC on PCa and benign prostate cells was dependent on regulation by a VDAC1-MPC-mitochondrial homeostasis-glycolysis ***:Blockade of pyruvate influx into mitochondria increased glycolysis levels in PCa but not in non-carcinoma prostate *** transient blockage sensitized PCa to both detection and radiotherapy,thus indicating that glycolytic potential is a novel mechanism underlying PCa *** change in the mitochondrial pyruvate influx caused by transient MPC blockade provides a critical target for PCa diagnosis and treatment.

Aims:Surveys and research on the applications of the hepatic venous pressure gradient(HVPG)are important for understanding the current status and future development of this technology in *** article aimed to investigate the status of hepatic venous pressure gradient measurement in china in ***:We investigated the overall status of HVPG technology in china-including hospital distribution,hospital level,annual number of cases,catheters used,average cost,indications,and current challenges by using online *** counting the number and percentages of cases of these results,we hope to clarify the current status of HVPG measurements in ***:According to the survey,85 hospitals in china used HVPG technology in 2022 distributed across 29 provinces.A total of 4989 HVPG measurements were performed in all of the surveyed hospitals in 2022,of which 2.13 cases(56.4%)were measured *** average cost of HVPG measurement was 5646.8±2327.9 *** the clinical teams who performed the measurements(sometimes multiple per hospital),94.3%(82/87)used the balloon method,and the majority of the teams(72.4%,63/87)used embolectomy ***:This survey clarified the clinical application status of HVPG in china and confirmed that some medical institutions in china have established a foundation for this *** is still necessary to continue promoting and popularizing this technology in the future.
