Molecular dynamics study of primary radiation damage in TiVTa concentrated solid-solution alloy

The primary radiation damage in pure V and TiVTa concentrated solid-solution alloy(CSA)was studied using a molecular dynamics *** have performed displacement cascade simulations to explore the generation and evolution behavior of irradiation *** results demonstrate that the defect accumulation and agglomeration in TiVTa CSA are significantly suppressed compared to pure *** peak value of Frenkel pairs during cascade collisions in TiVTa CSA is much higher than that in pure V due to the lower formation energy of point ***,the longer lifetime of the thermal spike relaxation and slow energy dissipation capability of TiVTa CSA can facilitate the recombination of point *** defect agglomeration rate in TiVTa CSA is much lower due to the lower binding energy of interstitial clusters and reduced interstitial ***,the occurrence probability of dislocation loops in TiVTa CSA is lower than that in pure *** reduction in primary radiation damage may enhance the radiation resistance of TiVTa CSA,and the improved radiation tolerance is primarily attributed to the relaxation stage and long-term defect evolution rather than the ballistic *** results can provide fundamental insights into irradiation-induced defects evolution in refractory CSAs.

As a highly vascular eye part,the choroid is crucial in various eye disease ***,limited research has focused on the inner structure of the choroid due to the challenges in obtaining sufficient accurate label data,particularly for the choroidal ***,the existing direct choroidal vessel segmentation methods for the intelligent diagnosis of vascular assisted ophthalmic diseases are still unsatisfactory due to noise data,while the synergistic segmentation methods compromise vessel segmentation performance for the choroid layer segmentation *** cascaded structures grapple with error propagation during *** address these challenges,we propose a cascade learning segmentation method for the inner vessel structures of the choroid in this ***,we propose TransformerAssisted Cascade Learning Network(TACLNet)for choroidal vessel segmentation,which comprises a two-stage training strategy:pre-training for choroid layer segmentation and joint training for choroid layer and choroidal vessel *** also enhance the skip connection structures by introducing a multi-scale subtraction connection module designated as MSC,capturing differential and detailed information ***,we implement an auxiliary Transformer branch named ATB to integrate global features into the segmentation *** results exhibit that our method achieves the state-of-the-art performance for choroidal vessel ***,we further validate the significant superiority of the proposed method for retinal fluid segmentation in optical coherence tomography(OCT)scans on a publicly available *** these fully prove that our TACLNet contributes to the advancement of choroidal vessel segmentation and is of great significance for ophthalmic research and clinical application.

The BL07U beamline is a new extreme ultraviolet and soft X-ray beamline housed in the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility. Beamlines are used in nano-resolved angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(nano-ARPES), spin-resolved angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(spin-ARPES), X-ray magnetic circular dichroism spectroscopy, and X-ray magnetic linear dichroism spectroscopy for certain scientific research. The BL07U beamline, which is based on a pair of elliptical polarized undulators and a variable-included-angle plane-grating monochromator, delivers circularly or linear polarized X-rays within the energy range of 50–2000 eV. The beamline features two branches: One dedicated to nano-ARPES,which has a minimum spot size of only ~ 200 nm, and another branch comprising spin-ARPES, a vector magnetic field, and superconductive magnetic end-station.

The fast X-ray imaging beamline(BL16U2) at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF) is a new beamline that provides X-ray micro-imaging capabilities across a wide range of time scales, spanning from 100 ps to μs and ms. This beamline has been specifically designed to facilitate the investigation of a wide range of rapid phenomena, such as the deformation and failure of materials subjected to intense dynamic loads. In addition, it enables the study of high-pressure and high-speed fuel spray processes in automotive engines. The light source of this beamline is a cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU) that is cooled by liquid nitrogen. This CPMU can generate X-ray photons within an energy range of 8.7–30 *** beamline offers two modes of operation: monochromatic beam mode with a liquid nitrogen-cooled double-crystal monochromator(DCM) and pink beam mode with the first crystal of the DCM out of the beam path. Four X-ray imaging methods were implemented in BL16U2: single-pulse ultrafast X-ray imaging, microsecond-resolved X-ray dynamic imaging, millisecond-resolved X-ray dynamic micro-CT, and high-resolution quantitative micro-CT. Furthermore, BL16U2 is equipped with various in situ impact loading systems, such as a split Hopkinson bar system, light gas gun, and fuel spray chamber. Following the completion of the final commissioning in 2021 and subsequent trial operations in 2022, the beamline has been officially available to users from 2023.

Background:The specific role of statins in the field of ophthalmology is not *** have the advantages of pleiotropic,relatively safety and low cost,and are a promising choice for the prevention and management of eye ***,there is a divergence of findings regarding the correlation between statin treatment and ocular ***,our intention is to investigate the impact of statins on eye conditions through the utilization of Mendelian randomization(MR).Methods:The UK Biobank provided data on five statins,while the FinnGen database provided data on six eye diseases,including age-related macular degeneration,glaucoma,diabetic retinopathy,senile cataract,drug-induced cataract,and other *** exploration involved the utilization of various methods including inverse variance weighted(IVW),weighted median,weighted multivariate(weighted mode),and MR-Egger *** assess the reliability of the findings,funnel analysis,MR-Egger regression,leave-one-out method,and Cochran’s Q test were ***,reverse MR analysis was performed to evaluate the potential for reverse causality between statin use and eye ***:Based on IVW analysis,there were three pairs of positive results with significant(P<0.05)causal relationship,including atorvastatin and drug-induced cataract(odds ratio(OR)=1.65E-05,95%confidence interval(CI):2.24E-09–0.12;P_(IVW)=0.02),rosuvastatin and drug-induced cataract(OR=2.77E-18,95%CI:7.53E-35–0.1;P_(IVW)=0.04)and fluvastatin with senile cataract(OR=0.5,95%CI:0.25–0.99;P_(IVW)=0.05).No significant causal relationship was observed between other types of statins and eye *** analysis found that the results were *** MR analysis indicated no evidence of reverse causality between statin use and the examined eye ***:Our study finally verified the strong causal relationship between three drugs and two diseases(atorvastatin and rosuvastatin and drug cataract

Magnesia-calcia refractories are widely used in the production process of clean steel due to their excellent high-tem-perature stability,slag resistance and ability to purify molten ***,there are still problems such as difficult sintering and easy ***-calcia materials with various calcium oxide contents were prepared by using induction sintering,and the sintering property combined with the hydration resistance of the materials was *** experimental results showed that the magnesia-calcia materials prepared under induction field had higher density,microhardness and hydration *** particular,the relative density of induction sintered magnesia-calcia materials with 50 mo1%cao was greater than 98%,and the average grain size of cao was 4.56μm,which was much larger than that of traditional sintered *** order to clarify the densification and microstructure evolution mechanism of the magnesia-calcia materials,the changes in temperature and magnetic field throughout the sintering process were analyzed by using finite element *** results showed that the larger heating rate and higher sintering temperature under the induction sintering mode were beneficial to the rapid *** addition,the hot spots generated within the material due to the difference in high-temperature electric conductivity between MgO and cao were the critical factor to realize selective sintering in MgO-cao system,which provides a novel pathway to solve the problem of difficult sintering and control the microstructure of high-temperature composite material used in the field of high-purity steel smelting.

交通扶贫效率测度可为乡村振兴阶段区域交通规划方案制定提供重要的理论依据。以滇西边境山区56个县域四年间交通与经济发展面板数据为样本,构建交通扶贫效率投入产出指标体系,运用DEA模型、Malmquist指数测度滇西边境山区各县交通扶贫效率,并分析其时空分布特征。同时,构建Tobit回归模型,探究县域交通扶贫效率的影响因素。研究表明:滇西边境山区县域交通扶贫效率整体呈逐步增长态势,在乡村振兴阶段仍然有较大提升空间,且交通扶贫综合效率主要受到规模效率的影响;滇西边境山区县域交通扶贫效率大幅提升;依据交通扶贫综合效率的平均值和Malmquist指数值两个维度,滇西边境山区56个县可划分为潜力型、发展型、成熟型及巩固型4种类型,而发展型和成熟型是滇西边境山区交通扶贫效率的主要形态;县域规模、产业结构对交通扶贫效率的提升具有反向抑制作用,就业支持、消费水平、区位优势、投资规模均在不同程度上对滇西边境山区交通扶贫效率产生正向促进作用;各影响因素对不同发展阶段的县域交通扶贫效率在影响强度和作用路径上存在差异。因此,应进一步优化县城交通基础设施空间布局,强化劳动力就业等因素与交通运输发展的“联动效应”,针对不同交通扶贫发展阶段及影响因素短板,采取差异化、合理化发展策略。
