To the Editor:Allogeneic hemopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT)represents the only long-term survival treatment choice for patients with myelodysplastic syndromes(MDS)and MDS/myeloproliferative neoplasm(MPN).Unfortunately,post-hemopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT)relapse remains a cause of treatment failure and the results of salvage treatments are *** better conditioning regimens is urgently *** studies have shown synergistic antileukemic effects between decitabine(DEC)and idarubicin(IDA).[1]In an attempt to design a conditioning strategy with very low toxicity but considerable myelosuppressive activity and potential immune-enhancing effects for patients with high-risk MDS and MDS/MPN,we combined DEC and IDA with busulfan,cyclophosphamide,andudarabine for a modied myeloablative regimen in this prospective,multicenter cohort study(hereafter referred to as the“DEC/IDA study”).

CsPbI_(2)Br薄膜在大气环境下制备存在覆盖率低、结晶质量差和结构稳定性差等问题.本文提出了一种动态热风辅助再结晶策略(dynamic hot-air assisted recrystallization,DHR),在相对湿度大于60%(>60%RH)的大气环境下,制备出高覆盖率、(100)择优取向、大尺寸晶粒、结构稳定、光电性能好的CsPbI_(2)Br薄膜.这是由于动态热风过程能够有效提高薄膜的覆盖率和获得(100)择优取向的结晶,但晶粒尺寸会显著减小(R_(ave)=0.32μm)并伴随着大量的晶界形成,从而加剧载流子的非辐射复合(τ_(ave)=99 ns);而通过再结晶过程,可进一步提高(100)择优取向的结晶和显著增大晶粒尺寸(R_(ave)=2.63μm),从而提高薄膜的光致发光强度和荧光寿命(τ_(ave)=118 ns).由DHR策略制备的未封装CsPbI_(2)Br太阳能电池具备高光电转换效率(power conversion efficiency,PCE=17.55%)、低迟滞因子(hysteresis index,HI=2.34%)和长期的储存稳定性(air,>60%RH,40天,初始PCE的96%)等特性.

This cross-sectional study evaluated the long-term health effects of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)in Jianghan District(Wuhan, china). The results showed that 61.4% of COVID-19 patients reported at least one symptom and 8.8% had depressive symptoms at the 17-month follow-up. The proportion of patients with chest radiographic abnormalities in Fangcang shelter hospitals and designated COVID-19hospitals was 31.6% and 41.1%, respectively, and the proportion of patients with impaired pulmonary diffusion capacity in these hospitals was 52.8% and 60.9%, respectively. Female sex(odds ratio[OR] = 1.48, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.16–1.88), severe disease(OR = 1.46, 95% CI: 1.01–2.10)and a higher number of initial symptoms(OR = 1.31, 95% CI: 1.23–1.40) were associated with the development of sequelae symptoms at 17 months. This study involving community-dwelling COVID-19adults may help determine the long-term effects of COVID-19 during the first pandemic ***, larger follow-up studies are needed to characterize the post-COVID-19 condition.

Background Hospitalized patients often have higher rate of vitamin D deficiency than healthy people. Vitamin D levels below normal are associated with hospital stay, increased incidence of adverse prognosis and increased mortality of a number of diseases. Whether there is a relationship between vitamin D levels and infection or sepsis in the critically ill is still unclear. This study will explore the relationship between vitamin D levels and risk of infection, assessment for disease severity, and predictor of mortality. Methods To evaluate the value of vitamin D in intensive care unit （ICU） cases to sepsis, severity and prognosis assessment, high performance liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry were used to measure the concentrations of vitamin D in sera of critically ill patients. The serum samples were drawn within the first 24 hours of ICU admission. Results The study included 206 people, 50 healthy controls, 51 ICU control patients and 105 ICU diagnosed with sepsis. Critically ill ICU patients （ICU sepsis and ICU control group） had lower vitamin D concentration than normal people, but septic patients showed no significant reduction of vitamin D concentration when compared with critically ill patients with no positive etiological evidence. For assessment of disease severity, there were very low negative correlations between APACHE II, SAPS II and SOFA scores and vitamin D level. Additionally, patients of different 25-（OH）D levels showed no difference whether in terms of 28-day survival （χ2=1.78, P=0.776） or 90-day survival （χ2=4.1., P=0.369）. Multivariate Logistic regression demonstrated that APECHE II and SAPS II scores were independent risk factors to deaths caused by sepsis. Conclusion Clinically, serum concentration of vitamin D is not an indicator for diagnosis and assessment in critically ill patients （*** identifier NCT01636232）.
