Due to the novel applications of flexible pipes conveying fluid in the field of soft robotics and biomedicine,the investigations on the mechanical responses of the pipes have attracted considerable *** fluid-structure interaction(FSI)between the pipe with a curved shape and the time-varying internal fluid flow brings a great challenge to the revelation of the dynamical behaviors of flexible pipes,especially when the pipe is highly flexible and usually undergoes large *** this work,the geometrically exact model(GEM)for a curved cantilevered pipe conveying pulsating fluid is developed based on the extended Hamilton's *** stability of the curved pipe with three different subtended angles is examined with the consideration of steady fluid *** attention is concentrated on the large-deformation resonance of circular pipes conveying pulsating fluid,which is often encountered in practical *** constructing bifurcation diagrams,oscillating shapes,phase portraits,time traces,and Poincarémaps,the dynamic responses of the curved pipe under various system parameters are *** mean flow velocity of the pulsating fluid is chosen to be either subcritical or *** numerical results show that the curved pipe conveying pulsating fluid can exhibit rich dynamical behaviors,including periodic and quasi-periodic *** is also found that the preferred instability type of a cantilevered curved pipe conveying steady fluid is mainly in the flutter of the second *** a moderate value of the mass ratio,however,a third-mode flutter may occur,which is quite different from that of a straight pipe system.

Hierarchical networks are frequently encountered in animal groups,gene networks,and artificial engineering systems such as multiple robots,unmanned vehicle systems,smart grids,wind farm networks,and so *** structure of a large directed hierarchical network is often strongly influenced by reverse edges from lower-to higher-level nodes,such as lagging birds’howl in a flock or the opinions of lowerlevel individuals feeding back to higher-level ones in a social *** study reveals that,for most large-scale real hierarchical networks,the majority of the reverse edges do not affect the synchronization process of the entire network;the synchronization process is influenced only by a small part of these reverse edges along specific *** surprisingly,a single effective reverse edge can slow down the synchronization of a huge hierarchical network by over 60%.The effect of such edges depends not on the network size but only on the average in-degree of the involved *** overwhelming majority of active reverse edges turn out to have some kind of“bunching”effect on the information flows of hierarchical networks,which slows down synchronization *** finding refines the current understanding of the role of reverse edges in many natural,social,and engineering hierarchical networks,which might be beneficial for precisely tuning the synchronization rhythms of these *** study also proposes an effective way to attack a hierarchical network by adding a malicious reverse edge to it and provides some guidance for protecting a network by screening out the specific small proportion of vulnerable nodes.

为解决传统拉丝成型滤棒截面成型受限问题,对透雕滤棒成型喷嘴装置进行仿真分析及改进设计研究。基于计算流体力学(Computational Fluid Dynamics,CFD)仿真软件,对3.典型的透雕滤棒成型喷嘴结构的蒸汽流速和温度进行模拟分析,得到透雕滤棒喷嘴成型过程的流体力学变化规律,试验结果表明:倾斜环状分布式喷嘴的综合性能最佳,改进透雕滤棒成型喷嘴装置的结构设计,使其成型效率得到有效提高,为工业成型装备领域的分析与改进提供参考。

目的基于感性设计方法对战斗机座舱开展设计研究,探究战斗机座舱的工业设计方法,以提升飞行员的操作感受和用户体验。方法对相关文献进行梳理,厘清感性设计的概念和理论来源;对装备感性设计和飞机座舱的工业设计方法进行文献回顾;针对以技术为主导的战斗机座舱设计,其外观设计受到功能的严格限制。通过构建基于创意感性的战斗机座舱感性设计方法,将“感性”思维融入战斗机座舱的工业设计程序,通过风格意象、主题分析、主题造型化等设计阶段产出设计方案,最后进行验证评估。结论根据感性设计方法对战斗机座舱开展概念设计案例实践,验证了感性设计方法的可行性,为战斗机座舱工业设计提供相应的参考建议。

Effect of preload forces on multidimensional signal dynamic behaviours for battery early safety warning

Providing early safety warning for batteries in real-world applications is *** this study,comprehensive thermal abuse experiments are conducted to clarify the multidimensional signal evolution of battery failure under various preload *** time-sequence relationship among expansion force,voltage,and temperature during thermal abuse under five categorised stages is *** characteristic peaks are identified for the expansion force,which correspond to venting,internal short-circuiting,and thermal *** particular,an abnormal expansion force signal can be detected at temperatures as low as 42.4°C,followed by battery thermal runaway in approximately 6.5 ***,reducing the preload force can improve the effectiveness of the early-warning method via the expansion ***,reducing the preload force from 6000 to 1000 N prolongs the warning time(i.e.,2.7 to 3.8 s)before thermal runaway is *** on the results,a notable expansion force early-warning method is proposed that can successfully enable early safety warning approximately 3.5 s ahead of battery thermal runaway and effectively prevent failure propagation with module *** study provides a practical reference for the development of timely and accurate early-warning strategies as well as guidance for the design of safer battery systems.

Objective To explore the feasibility and safety of gene transfer into porcine myocardium via the pericardial cavity by a homemade easy device. Methods Replication-deficient recombinant adenoviral vector carrying LacZ report gene (Ad-LacZ) was constructed by the calcium phosphate precipitation method. Twelve healthy Chinese mini-swine were randomly divided into experimental group (n=6) and control group (n=6). Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) model was established by balloon occlusion of the distal part of D1 branch of left anterior descending (LAD) artery, at the same time the intra-pericardial cavity injections were performed through the small incision of the abdominal wall below the xyphoid appendix using a homemade device. Then gene transfer was performed using a central venous catheter. The pericardium was pretreated with injection of a mixture of collagenase (1 2.0 U) and hyaluronidase (3.000 U) in both groups. Then 2.0×109 plaque formation unit (PFU) Ad-LacZ was injected into the pericardial cavity in experimental group, while 1 mL of normal saline was injected in the control group. The β-galactosidase activity detection and X-gal staining of the ischemic myocardium were performed on the 3.d, 7th, and 2.th day after injection. Results The LAD artery was occluded completely and infarction and ischemia were detected by histological assessment. In experimental group, the X-gal staining positive cells and β-galactosidase activity quantification were detectable on the 3.d day after injection, increased markedly on the 7th day, and then declined on the 2.th day. The transfer efficiencies indicated by the positive myocardial cells were 16.7%, 45.6%, 2..8% on the 3.d, 7th, 2.th day, respectively. In control group, no positive cells and β-galactosidase activity were observed. This paper investigates the content placement problem to maximize the cache hit ratio in device-to-device(D2.)communications overlaying cellular *** consider offloading contents by users themselves,D2. communications and multicast,and we analyze the relationship between these offloading methods and the cache hit *** on this relationship,we formulate the content placement optimization as a cache hit ratio maximization problem,and propose a heuristic algorithm to solve *** results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can outperform existing schemes in terms of the cache hit ratio.
