Numerical study of the influence of the atmospheric pressure on the thermal environment in the passenger cabin

The cabin air pressure remains lower than the horizontal atmospheric pressure when the airplane is in *** pressure is one of the parameters that must be taken into consideration while studying the thermal environment of an airplane *** are still no reference values for aircraft cabins despite the fact that numerous studies on low pressure heat transfer have demonstrated the connection between convective heat transfer coefficient(CHTC)and air *** this paper,a correction method for CHTC under low pressure conditions was established by using the dummy heat dissipation in the low-pressure cabin *** this basis,a thermal environment simulation model was developed,then was applied to the simulation of a seven-row aircraft cabin containing 42 passengers,and the CHTC and heat loss of dummy surface in the cabin were ***,the results of PMV calculated by using heat dissipation and air parameters at sampling points were *** results show that the modified CHTC can accurately reflect the cabin thermal environment under low pressure conditions,and the correction of CHTC can be realized by adjusting the turbulent Prandtl number,which is nonlinear correlated with the *** simulation results of the thermal environment in the seven-row cabin show that the CHTC changes by about 42%before and after *** air pressure decreases during take-off,which reduces the average CHTC of the crew surface from 5.09 W/(m^(2)·K)to 4.56 W/(m^(2)·K),but the air temperature rises by about 0.2°C as a *** deviation of PMV results calculated by using simulated heat loss data and using air parameters of measuring points in space is up to 0.5,but the latter is representative for calculating the thermal comfort level of the whole cabin.

Risk factors for lymph node metastasis in superficial esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

In this editorial,we comment on the article by Wang et al published in the recent issue of the World Journal of Gastroenterology in *** focused on identifying risk factors for lymph node metastasis(LNM)in superficial esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(SESCC)patients and how to construct a simple and reliable clinical prediction model to assess the risk of LNM in SESCC patients,thereby helping to guide the selection of an appropriate treatment *** current standard treatment for SESCC is radical esophagectomy with lymph node ***,esophagectomy is associated with considerable morbidity and *** resection(ER)offers a safer and less invasive alternative to surgical resection and can enable the patient's quality of life to be maintained while providing a satisfactory ***,since ER is a localized treatment that does not allow for lymph node dissection,the risk of LNM in SESCC limits the effectiveness of *** LNM status can aid in determining whether patients with SESCC can be cured by ER without the need for additional *** studies have shown that tumor size,macroscopic type of tumor,degree of differentiation,depth of tumor invasion,and lymphovascular invasion are factors associated with LNM in patients with *** addition,tumor budding is commonly associated with LNM,recurrence,and distant metastasis,but this topic has been less covered in previous *** comprehensively evaluating the above risk factors for LNM,useful evidence can be obtained for doctors to select appropriate treatments for SESCC patients.

L_(1)-Smooth SVM with Distributed Adaptive Proximal Stochastic Gradient Descent with Momentum for Fast Brain Tumor Detection

Brain tumors come in various types,each with distinct characteristics and treatment approaches,making manual detection a time-consuming and potentially ambiguous *** tumor detection is a valuable tool for gaining a deeper understanding of tumors and improving treatment *** learning models have become key players in automating brain tumor *** descent methods are the mainstream algorithms for solving machine learning *** this paper,we propose a novel distributed proximal stochastic gradient descent approach to solve the L_(1)-Smooth Support Vector Machine(SVM)classifier for brain tumor ***,the smooth hinge loss is introduced to be used as the loss function of *** avoids the issue of nondifferentiability at the zero point encountered by the traditional hinge loss function during gradient descent ***,the L_(1) regularization method is employed to sparsify features and enhance the robustness of the ***,adaptive proximal stochastic gradient descent(PGD)with momentum,and distributed adaptive PGDwithmomentum(DPGD)are proposed and applied to the L_(1)-Smooth *** computing is crucial in large-scale data analysis,with its value manifested in extending algorithms to distributed clusters,thus enabling more efficient processing ofmassive amounts of *** DPGD algorithm leverages Spark,enabling full utilization of the computer’s multi-core *** to its sparsity induced by L_(1) regularization on parameters,it exhibits significantly accelerated convergence *** the perspective of loss reduction,DPGD converges faster than *** experimental results show that adaptive PGD withmomentumand its variants have achieved cutting-edge accuracy and efficiency in brain tumor ***-trained models,both the PGD andDPGD outperform other models,boasting an accuracy of 95.21%.

Spatial and temporal variation of water clarity in typical reservoirs in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region observed by GF 1-WFV satellite data

Rapidly monitoring regional water quality and the changing trend is of great practical and scientific significance,especially for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)region of China where water resources are relatively scarce and inland water bodies are generally *** remote sensing data of the GF 1 satellite launched in 2013 have characteristics of high spatial and temporal resolution,which can be used for the dynamic monitoring of the water environment in small lakes and ***,the water quality remote sensing monitoring model based on the GF 1 satellite data for lakes and reservoirs in BTH is still lacking because of the considerable differences in the optical characteristics of the lakes and *** this paper,the typical reservoirs in BTH-Guanting Reservoir,yuqiao Reservoir,Panjiakou Reservoir,and Daheiting Reservoir are taken as the study *** the atmospheric correction of GF 1-WFV,the relative radiation normalized atmospheric correction was adopted after comparing it with other methods,such as 6 S and *** the water clarity retrieval,a water color hue angle based model was proposed and outperformed other available published models,with the R 2 of 0.74 and MRE of 31.7%.The clarity products of the four typical reservoirs in the BTH region in 2013-2019 were produced using the GF 1-WFV *** on the products,temporal and spatial changes in clarity were analyzed,and the main influencing factors for each water body were *** was found that the clarity of Guanting,Daheiting,and Panjiakou reservoirs showed an upward trend during this period,while that of yuqiao Reservoir showed a downward *** the influencing factors,the water level of the water bodies can be an important factor related to the water clarity changes in this region.

Effect of Incoming Vortex on Secondary Flows in Turbine Cascades with Planar and Non-Axisymmetric Endwall

Non-Axisymmetric Endwall Profiling(NAEP) is commonly utilized in turbines to eliminate secondary ***,most of the NAEP methods consider a single-blade row environment without incorporating the effect of the stage *** paper aims to investigate the influence mechanism of the incoming vortex on the endwall secondary flow structures of NAEP in a highly loaded turbine *** model the incoming vortex in a stage environment,this study considers a half-delta wing as the vortex generator at the upstream of the turbine *** NAEP is then carried out for a highly loaded turbine cascade with an in-house numerical optimization design platform subject to no incoming *** simulation is also carried out under the influence of the incoming vortex for the turbine cascades with both planar and non-axisymmetric *** paper furthers investigated the pitchwise effect of the incoming vortex on the near endwall secondary *** results indicate that the NAEP effectively improves the endwall secondary flow of the turbine cascade,where the total pressure loss coefficient and the secondary kinetic energy(SKE) are reduced by 7.3%,and 45.7%,*** is further seen that with the incoming vortex,the NAEP achieves a considerable control effect on the endwall secondary flow of the turbine *** incoming vortex,the NAEP can still achieve considerable control effect on the endwall secondary flow of the turbine cascade;the averaged reductions of loss coefficient and SKE are 7.8% and 14.2%,*** some pitchwise locations,incoming vortex can suppress the convection of cross-passage flow toward the suction corner greatly and reduce the loss coefficient of the baseline *** incoming vortex at 4/7 pitch impinged right at the blade leading edge,leading to the generation of low-momentum fluid,which increased the size and the strength of the horseshoe *** all the pitchwise locations,NAEP can suppress the seco

Fixed-Time Antidisturbance Consensus Tracking for Nonlinear Multiagent Systems With Matching and Mismatching Disturbances

In this paper,fixed-time consensus tracking for mul-tiagent systems(MASs)with dynamics in the form of strict feed-back affine nonlinearity is addressed.A fixed-time antidistur-bance consensus tracking protocol is proposed,which consists of a distributed fixed-time observer,a fixed-time disturbance observer,a nonsmooth antidisturbance backstepping controller,and the fixed-time stability analysis is conducted by using the Lyapunov theory *** paper includes three main ***,a distributed fixed-time observer is developed for each follower to obtain an estimate of the leader’s output by utilizing the topology of the communication ***,a fixed-time disturbance observer is given to estimate the lumped disturbances for feedforward ***,a nonsmooth antidisturbance backstepping tracking controller with feedforward compensation for lumped disturbances is *** order to mitigate the“explosion of complexity”in the tradi-tional backstepping approach,we have implemented a modified nonsmooth command filter to enhance the performance of the closed-loop *** simulation results show that the pro-posed method is effective.

Self-adaptive gas flow and phase change behaviors during hydrate exploitation by alternate injection of N_(2) and CO_(2)

Since hydrate resources play a part of the stratigraphic framework structure in sediments,establishing a safe and economic method for hydrates exploitation remains the primary challenge to this *** the proposed methods,the spontaneous displacement of CH_(4) from hydrate cages by CO_(2) seems to be a perfect mechanism to address gas production and CO_(2) storage,especially in today's strong demand for carbon reduction and replacing clean *** extensive lab researches,in the past decade,injecting a mixture of CO_(2) and small molecule gas has become a key means to enhance displacement efficiency and has great potential for ***,there is a lack of in-depth research on gas flow in the reservoir,while the injected gas always passes through low-saturated hydrate areas with high permeability and then occurs gas channel in a short term,finally resulting in the decreases in gas production efficiency and produced gas ***,we explored a new injection-production mode of alternate injection of N2 and CO_(2) in order to fully coordinate the advantages of N_(2) in enhanced hydrate decomposition and CO_(2) in solid storage and heat *** alternate"taking"and"storing"processes perfectly repair the problem of the gas channel,achieving self-regulation effect of CH_(4) recovery and CO_(2) *** 3-D experimental results show that compared to the mixed gas injection,CH_(4) recovery is increased by>50%and CO_(2) storage is increased by>70%.Additionally,this alternate injection mode presented a better performance in CH_(4) concentration of produced gas and showed outstanding N_(2) utilization ***,we analyzed its self-adaptive gas flow mechanism and proposed an application model of"one injection and multiple production".We look forward to this study accelerating the application of CO_(2)-CH_(4) replacement technology.

A deep learning model enabled multi-event recognition for distributed optical fiber sensing

Fiber optic sensors that utilize backscattered light offer distributed real-time measurements and have been seen tremendous improvements in sensing distance and spatial resolution over the last ***, these improvements in sensor capabilities lead to a significant increase in the amount of data that needs to be processed. Traditional processing schemes are no longer adequate, so the development of novel signal processing methods is critical. Phase-sensitive optical time domain reflectometry(Φ-OTDR) is now applied in various applications for multi-event recognition, and it would usually be difficult, sometimes even unrealistic to label all the acquired samples due to its real-time and seamless monitoring nature. To fully take advantage of the information contained within the large number of unlabeled samples, which were formerly not utilized and hence wasted, we propose a semi-supervised model to boost the event classification performance of Φ-OTDR. The model extracts respectively the temporal features and the spatial bidirectional features together with a dual attention mechanism. Its classification accuracy has been improved up to 96.9%with only 1230 labeled samples. In addition, our model shows significant advantages when the number of labeled samples is reduced. Importantly, our method improves the accuracy of multi-event classification without any modification to the optical setup.

The flourishing progress in nanotechnology offers boundless opportunities for agriculture,particularly in the realm of nanopesticides research and ***,concerns have been raised regarding the human and environmental safety issues stemming from the unrestrained use of non-therapeutic nanomaterials in *** is also important to consider whether the current development strategy of nanopesticides based on nanocarriers can strike a balance between investment and return,and if the complex material composition genuinely improves the efficiency,safety,and circularity of ***,we introduced the concept of nanopesticides with minimizing carriers(NMC)prepared through prodrug design and molecular self-assembly emerging as practical tools to address the current limitations,and compared it with nanopesticides employing non-therapeutic nanomaterials as carriers(NNC).We further summarized the current development strategy of NMC and examined potential challenges in its preparation,performance,and ***,we asserted that the development of NMC systems can serve as the innovative driving force catalyzing a green and efficient revolution in nanopesticides,offering a way out of the current predicament.
