In this paper, a consensus algorithm of multi-agent second-order dynamical systems with nonsymmetric interconnection and heterogeneous delays is studied. With the hypothesis of directed weighted topology graph with a globally reachable node, decentralized consensus condition is obtained by applying generalized Nyquist criterion. For the systems with both communication and input delays, it is shown that the consensus condition is dependent on input delays but independent of communication delays.

Eco-friendly tin sulfide(SnS)has attracted increasing attention in the thermoelectric community because of its elemental abundance and analogous crystal structure to SnSe as a new thermoelectric ***,so far no high dimensionless thermoelectric figure of merit ZT>1 was reported in SnS *** work found an effective strategy for enhancing the thermoelectric performance of ptype polycrystalline SnS by Ag doping and vacancy engineering,leading to three orders of magnitude increase in carrier concentration and optimized effective mass and carrier *** a result of the enhanced electrical conductivity,three times higher power factor ~3.85 μW/cm K^(2) at 877 K is realized in Sn_(0.995)Ag_(0.005)S ***,nanostructuring with Ag nano-precipitates were formed in the Agdoped SnS ***,with introducing Sn vacancies in the crystal structure of Sn_(0.995-vac)Ag_(0.005)S,the power factor further enhanced to~4.25 μW/cm K^(2).In addition to the low-frequency phonons scattering by Ag nano-precipitates,dislocations strengthens the scattering of mid-frequency phonon,leading to an ultralow lattice thermal conductivity <0.5 W/m K above 800 K and a record high ZT up to 1.1 at 877 K in Sn_(0.99)Ag_(0.005)S polycrystals.

The specific heats of both a two-layer ferromagnetic superlattice and a two-layer ferrimagnetic one *** is found that the spin quantum numbers,the interlayer and intralayer exchange couplings,the anisotropy,theapplied magnetic field,and the temperature all affect the specific heat of these *** both the ferromagneticand ferrimagnetic superlattices,the specific heat decreases with increasing the spin quantum number,the absolutevalue of interlayer exchange coupling,intralayer exchange coupling,and anisotropy,while it increases with increasingtemperature at low *** an applied magnetic field is enhanced,the specific heat decreases in the two-layerferromagnetic superlattice,while it is almost unchanged in the two-layer ferrimagnetic superlattice at low fieldrange at low temperatures.

The δ Scuti star catalogue is used to derive the observational locations of such stars on the HR diagram. The theoretical and observational instability strips are compared to check the theoretical red edge obtained by considering nonlocal time-dependent convection theory. The observational instability strip almost overlaps with the theoretical one, but the observed blue and red envelopes are hotter than the theoretical edges. The distribution of δ Scuti stars in the pulsation strip is not uniform.

Simulation of Water-Resistance of a Clay Layer During Mining:Analysis of a Safe Water Head

Given previous research and prototypical geological conditions of a mining workface,we simulated fis-sure development in clay layers at the bottom of Quaternary strata and above bedrock,sand and water inrush during mining by model experiments. The results show that V-shaped fissures usually occur in the bottom clay layer at the front top of the active face and that the position of these fissures changes periodically with ground pressure intervals. These fissures occur exactly in the area where the horizontal strain is concentrated. The results also demonstrate that the permeability coefficient of the cracked clay decreases while fissures tend to close. The permeability of the cracked bottom clay layer increases rapidly after a turning point in the permeability coefficient-water head curve (K-H curve) under a certain vertical load. Under static water pressure,the permeability coefficient of cracked clay decreases when load increases. A turning point in the K-H curve showed up and can be seen as a cutoff point to de-cide water inrush under a certain load level. Under an instantaneous water head,the greatest ability of the cracked clay to avoid drastic water inflow is a little higher than that under static conditions.
