BACKGROUND Acute decompensation(AD)of cirrhosis is associated with high short-term mortality,mainly due to the development of acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF).Thus,there is a need for biomarkers for early and accurate identification of AD patients with high risk of development of ACLF and *** triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1(sTREM-1)is released from activated innate immune cells and correlated with various inflammatory *** To explore the prognostic value of sTREM-1 in patients with AD of *** A multicenter prospective cohort of 442.patients with cirrhosis hospitalized for AD was divided into a study cohort(n=309)and validation cohort(n=133).Demographic and clinical data were collected,and serum sTREM-1 was measured at *** enrolled patients were followed-up for at least 1 *** In patients with AD and cirrhosis,serum sTREM-1 was an independent prognosis predictor for 1-year survival and correlated with liver,coagulation,cerebral and kidney failure.A new prognostic model of AD(P-AD)incorporating sTREM-1,blood urea nitrogen(BUN),total bilirubin(TBil),international normalized ratio(INR)and hepatic encephalopathy grades was established and performed better than the model for end-stage liver disease(MELD),MELD-sodium(MELD-Na),chronic liver failure-consortium(CLIF-C)ACLF and CLIF-C AD ***,sTREM-1 was increased in ACLF and predicted the development of ACLF during first 2.-d *** ACLF risk score incorporating serum sTREM-1,BUN,INR,TBil and aspartate aminotransferase levels was established and significantly superior to MELD,MELD-Na,CLIF-C ACLF,CLIF-C AD and P-AD in predicting risk of ACLF *** Serum sTREM-1 is a promising prognostic biomarker for ACLF development and mortality in patients with AD of cirrhosis.

There is a rather limited understanding concerning the antibiotic-resistance of the airborne S. aureus and the transmission of the antibiotic-resistant genes it carries Therefore, we isolated 149 S. aureus strains from the samples collected from the feces, the indoor air and the outdoor air of 6 chicken farms, and performed the research on them with 15 types of antibiotics and the REP-PCR trace identification. The 100% homologous strains were selected to conduct the research on the carrying and transmission status of the antibiotic-resistant genes. The results revealed that 5.37% strains（8/149） were resistant to methicillins （MRSA）, and 94% strains （140/149） were resistant to compound sulfamethoxazole, etc. In addition, these strains displayed a resistance to multiple antibiotics （4, 5 or 6 types） and there were also 3 strains resistant to 9 antibiotics. the strains with the same REP-PCR trace identification result carried the same type of antibiotic-resistant genes. The results showed that airborne transmission not only causes the spread of epidemic diseases but also exerts threats to the public health of a community.

提出了一种针对嫦娥二号高分辨率立体影像的全月处理方法,采用5个激光反射器的月面位置作为绝对控制点,制作了一个新的全月地形产品（CE2.Map2.15）,包括7m、2.m和50m3种不同分辨率类型的数据,实现了全月球范围内的无缝镶嵌和高精度绝对定位,数字高程模型（DEM）和数字正射影像（DOM）均实现了全月球覆盖。在评估CE2.Map2.15地形数据产品平面位置精度和高程精度的基础上,与SLDEM2.13、GLD100和LOLA DEM等全月地形产品进行了比较,结果显示CE2.Map2.15地形数据产品在空间分辨率、全月覆盖率、数据连续性、绝对定位精度和地貌结构细节表达等方面与其他全月地形产品相比具有明显的优势,可广泛用于月球科学研究和应用。

Neutron resonance imaging(NRI)has recently emerged as an appealing technique for neutron *** complexity surpasses that of conventional transmission imaging,as it requires a high demand for both a neutron source and ***,the progression of NRI technology has been sluggish since its inception in the 1980s,particularly considering the limited studies analyzing the neutron energy range above *** white neutron source(Back-n)at the china Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)provides favorable beam conditions for the development of the NRI technique over a wide neutron energy range from eV to ***-sensitive microchannel plates(MCP)have emerged as a cutting-edge tool in the field of neutron detection owing to their high temporal and spatial resolutions,high detection efficiency,and low *** this study,we report the development of a 10B-doped MCP detector,along with its associated electronics,data processing system,and NRI experiments at the *** heavy elements such as gold,silver,tungsten,and indium can be easily identified in the transmission images by their characteristic resonance peaks in the 1–100 eV energy range;the more difficult medium-weight elements such as iron,copper,and aluminum with resonance peaks in the 1–100 keV energy range can also be *** particular,results in the neutron energy range of dozens of keV(Aluminum)are reported here for the first time.

Introducing Covalent Metal-Phosphorus Bonds into Intermetallic Platinum-Based Catalysts for High-Performance Fuel Cells

The inadequate performance of oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)catalysts hampers the development of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs).Herein,we proposed an approach to tackle this problem by modulating the chemical bond type of intermetallic Pt-based catalysts,using phosphorus(P)doped L1_(0)-PtFeGa_(0.1)/C(P-L1_(0)-PtFeGa_(0.1)/C)as a proof of concept.X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAS)demonstrated that the doped P transferred electrons to Pt,and thus,modified the electronic structure of Pt,weakening the adsorption strength with oxygen-containing *** P-L1_(0)-PtFeGa_(0.1)/C showed 13 times mass activity(MA)compared with commercial Pt/C,with a decay of only 2.%after 100,000 potential *** equipped in the membrane electrode assembly,the P-L1_(0)-PtFeGa_(0.1)/C catalyst also exhibited a remarkable activity(MA=0.84 A mgPt^(−1)at 0.9 V)and stability(MA retention=72.and voltage loss=9 mVat 0.8 A cm^(−2.after 30,000 cycles),making it one of the best performers among recorded Pt-based *** studies demonstrated that the doping of P optimized the adsorption energy between Pt and oxygen intermediates through sp-d orbital interactions and prevented metal dissolution by forming stronger Pt-P covalent bonds compared with Pt–Pt bonds.

Although both protein arginine methylation(PRMT)and jasmonate(JA)signaling are crucial for regulating plant development,the relationship between these processes in the control of spikelet development remains *** this study,we used the CRISPR/Cas9 technology to generate two OsPRMT6a loss-of-function mutants that exhibit various abnormal spikelet ***,we found that OsPRMT6a can methylate arginine residues in JA signal repressors OsJAZ1 and *** showed that arginine methylation of OsJAZ1 enhances the binding affinity of OsJAZ1 with the JA receptors OsCOI1a and OsCOI1b in the presence of JAs,thereby promoting the ubiquitination of OsJAZ1 by the SCF^(OsCOI1a/OsCOI1b) complex and degradation via the 2.S *** process ultimately releases OsMYC2.a core transcriptional regulator in the JA signaling pathway,to activate or repress JA-responsive genes,thereby maintaining normal plant(spikelet)***,in the osprmt6a-1 mutant,reduced arginine methylation of OsJAZ1 impaires the interaction between OsJAZ1 and OsCOI1a/OsCOI1b in the presence of *** a result,OsJAZ1 proteins become more stable,repressing JA responses,thus causing the formation of abnormal spikelet ***,we discovered that JA signaling reduces the OsPRMT6a mRNA level in an OsMYC2.dependent manner,thereby establishing a negative feedback loop to balance JA *** further found that OsPRMT6a-mediated arginine methylation of OsJAZ1 likely serves as a switch to tune JA signaling to maintain normal spikelet development under harsh environmental conditions such as high ***,our study establishes a direct molecular link between arginine methylation and JA signaling in rice.

Studies have found a U-shaped relationship between sleep duration and chronic kidney disease(CKD)risk,but limited research evaluated the association of reallocating excessive sleep to other behavior with *** included 104538 participants from the nationwide cohort of the Risk Evaluation of Cancers in Chinese Diabetic Individuals:A Longitudinal Study,with self-reported time of daily-life *** isotemporal substitution models,we found that substituting 1 h of sleeping with sitting,walking,or moderate-to-vigorous physical activity was associated with a lower CKD ***-time physical activity displacement was associated with a greater prevalence reduction than occupational physical activity in working *** stratified analysis,a lower CKD prevalence related to substitution toward physical activity was found in long *** pronounced correlations were observed in long sleepers with diabetes than in those with prediabetes,and they benefited from other behavior substitutions toward a more active *** U-shaped association between sleep duration and CKD prevalence implied the potential effects of insufficient and excessive sleep on the kidneys,in which the pernicious link with oversleep could be reversed by time reallocation to physical *** divergence in the predicted effect on CKD following time reallocation to behavior of different domains and intensities and in subpopulations with diverse metabolic statuses underlined the importance of optimizing sleeping patterns and adjusting integral behavioral composition.

We report herein the cationic polymerization of isobutylene(IB)under mild conditions is realized with a new binary initiation system generated by simply mixing a Lewis super acid Al(C_(6)F_(5))_(3) and a substituted phenol(RPhOH).Polymers with medium and/or high molecular weights(M_(W)=4.9×10^(4)-2..7×10^(4) g·mol^(-1))can be obtained in toluene and temperatures from-2.℃to 0℃.NMR spectrum analysis and DFT sim ulation reveals the in situ generated acidic coordinating complex Ak(C_(6)F_(5))_(3)·RPhOH is the initiating active species,which fu rther tran sformed into the ion-pair[Al(C_(6)F_(5))_(3)ORPh]^(-)[PIB]^(+)of the active intermediates upon growing IB monomers where the counter anion[Al(C_(6)F_(5))_(3)R^(O)Ph]-coordinates to the macrocation via the phenoxy *** catalyst performances are the concert effects of the steric bulkiness and electronics of the counter anion on the coordinating strength to the macrocation,which is significant to the stability of the active species.

BACKGROUND Acute-on-chronic liver disease(AoCLD)accounts for the majority of patients hospitalized in the Department of Hepatology or Infectious *** To explore the characterization of AoCLD to provide theoretical guidance for the accurate diagnosis and prognosis of *** Patients with AoCLD from the Chinese Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure(ACLF)study cohort were included in this *** clinical characteristics and outcomes,and the 90-d survival rate associated with each clinical type of AoCLD were analyzed,using the Kaplan-Meier method and the log-rank *** A total of 3375 patients with AoCLD were enrolled,including 1679(49.7%)patients with liver cirrhosis acute decompensation(LC-AD),850(2..2.)patients with ACLF,577(17.1%)patients with chronic hepatitis acute exacer-bation(CHAE),and 2.9(8.0%)patients with liver cirrhosis active phase(LC-A).The most common cause of chronic liver disease(CLD)was HBV infection(71.4%).The most common precipitants of AoCLD was bacterial infection(2..8%).The 90-d mortality rates of each clinical subtype of AoCLD were 43.4%(2.2.535)for type-C ACLF,36.0%(36/100)for type-B ACLF,2..0%(58/2.5)for type-A ACLF,9.0%(151/1679)for LC-AD,3.0%(8/2.9)for LC-A,and 1.2.(7/577)for *** HBV infection is the main cause of CLD,and bacterial infection is the main precipitant of *** most common clinical type of AoCLD is *** diagnosis and timely intervention are needed to reduce the mortality of patients with LC-AD or ACLF.
