We experimentally demonstrate a reliable method based on a nanofiber to optimize the number of cold atoms in a magneto–optical trap(MOT) and to monitor the MOT in real *** atomic fluorescence is collected by a nanofiber with subwavelength diameter of about 400 *** MOT parameters are experimentally adjusted in order to match the maximum number of cold atoms provided by the fluorescence collected by the *** maximum number of cold atoms is obtained when the intensities of the cooling and re-pumping beams are about 23.5 mW/cm^2 and 7.1 mW/cm^2,respectively;the detuning of the cooling beam is-13.0 MHz, and the axial magnetic gradient is about 9.7 Gauss/*** observe a maximum photon counting rate of nearly(4.5 ± 0.1)× 10^5 counts/*** nanofiber–atom system can provide a powerful and flexible tool for sensitive atom detection and for monitoring atom–matter *** can be widely used from quantum optics to quantum precision measurement.

We demonstrate a tunable bandpass optical filter based on a tapered optical fiber(TOF)touched by a hemispherical microfiber tip(MFT).Other than the interference and selective material absorption effects,the filter relies on the controllable and wavelength-dependent mode–mode interactions in ***,a large range of tunability is realized by controlling the position of the MFT in contact with the TOF for various TOF radii,and two distinct bandpass filter mechanisms are *** center wavelength of the bandpass filter can be tuned from 890 nm to 1000 nm,while the FWHM bandwidth can be tuned from 110 nm to 240 nm when the MFT touches the TOF in the radius range from 160 nm to 390 *** distinction ratio can reach 28±3 dB *** combined TOF-MFT is an in-line tunable bandpass optical filter that has great application potential in optical networks and spectroscopy,and the principle could also be generalized to other integrated photonic devices.

We investigate high time resolution data obtained by the Gravitational wave high-energy Electromagnetic Counterpart All-sky Monitor(GECAM)during the flare event on 2022 April 21 at 01:52 *** subpeaks with durations of 4-6 s have been detected in the hard X-ray precursor phase,and the key feature is that they appear in pairs and seem like double-peak *** subpeaks are rarely observed in hard X-ray band and confirmed by the microwave obtained by Nobeyama Radio Polarimeters(NoRP)and Radio Solar Telescope Network(RSTN).While an exponential function can describe the continuum component of the time profile from the precursor to part of the impulsive *** periods of quasi-periodic pulsations(QPPs)are detected to be about 7.3 and 12.8 s for the precursor and impulsive phase,respectively,with at least 95%confidence *** paired QPPs are assumed to be double-peak QPPs and then the scenario of current loop coalescence model is found to be in good agreement with our *** precursor phase can be interpreted as the oscillating coalescence of two islands,while the impulsive phase can be interpreted as more islands to coalesce one by one to form larger islands.

Yu Gan Long(YGL)is a Chinese traditional herbal formula which has been reported to attenuate liver fibrosis for many years and we have explored its anti-fibrotic mechanism through blocking transforming growth factor(TGF-β)in the previous *** the mechanisms associated with platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF)-BB remain *** this study,we further investigated the mechanism of YGL reducing carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)-induced liver fibrosis in *** results showed that YGL suppressed CCl4-induced upregulation of collagen IV(Col IV),type HI precollagen(PCHI),hyaluronuc acid(HA)and laminin(LN),which are implicated in liver ***,YGL reduced theα-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA)expression,which acts as the indicator of liver ***,YGL decreased the serum levels of hepatic stellate cell(HSC)mitogen PDGF-BB and inflammation cytokines,including TNF-α,IL-1β,*** involved in liver fibrosis,such as Ras,p-Raf-1,p-ERK1/2,p-JNK,p-P38,p-PI3K,p-AKT,p-JAKl,p-STAT3 were downregulated significantly after treatment with *** results indicated that YGL ameliorated CCl4-induced liver fibrosis by reducing inflammation cytokines production,and suppressing Ras/ERK,PI3K/AKT,and JAK1/STAT3 signaling pathways,which provided further evidence towards elucidation of the anti-fibrotic mechanism of YGL.

Mammalian target of rapamycin(m TOR) inhibitor as an attractive drug target with promising antitumor effects has been widely investigated. High quality clinical trial has been conducted in liver transplant(LT) recipients in Western countries. However, the pertinent studies in Eastern world are paucity. Therefore, we designed a clinical trial to test whether sirolimus can improve recurrence-free survival(RFS) in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) patients beyond the Milan criteria after LT. This is an open-labeled, single-arm, prospective, multicenter, and real-world study aiming to evaluate the clinical outcomes of early switch to sirolimus-based regimens in HCC patients after LT. Patients with a histologically proven HCC and beyond the Milan criteria will be enrolled. The initial immunosuppressant regimens are center-specifc for the frst 4-6 weeks. The following regimens integrated sirolimus into the regimens as a combination therapy with reduced calcineurin inhibitors based on the condition of patients and centers. The study is planned for 4 years in total with a 2-year enrollment period and a 2-year follow-up. We predict that sirolimus conversion regimen will provide survival benefts for patients particular in the key indicator RFS as well as better quality of life. If the trial is conducted successfully, we will have a continued monitoring over a longer follow-up time to estimate indicator of overall survival. We hope that the outcome will provide better evidence for clinical decision-making and revising treatment guidelines based on Chinese population data.

The Large sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope（LAMOST） general survey is a spectroscopic survey that will eventually cover approximately half of the celestial sphere and collect 10 million spectra of stars, galaxies and QSOs. Objects in both the pilot survey and the first year regular survey are included in the LAMOST DR1. The pilot survey started in October 2011 and ended in June 2012, and the data have been released to the public as the LAMOST Pilot Data Release in August 2012. The regular survey started in September 2012, and completed its first year of operation in June 2013. The LAMOST DR1 includes a total of 1202 plates containing 2 955 336 spectra, of which 1 790 879 spectra have observed signalto-noise ratio（SNR） ≥ 10. All data with SNR ≥ 2 are formally released as LAMOST DR1 under the LAMOST data policy. This data release contains a total of 2 204 696 spectra, of which 1 944 329 are stellar spectra, 12 082 are galaxy spectra and 5017 are quasars. The DR1 not only includes spectra, but also three stellar catalogs with measured parameters： late A,FGK-type stars with high quality spectra（1 061 918 entries）, A-type stars（100 073 entries）, and M-type stars（121 522 entries）. This paper introduces the survey design, the observational and instrumental limitations, data reduction and analysis, and some caveats. A description of the FITS structure of spectral files and parameter catalogs is also provided.
