The objectives of the present investigations are to see the effects of biomass power plant effluent on the carbohydrates, aminoacids, nitrite and nitrite enzyme activitiesand proline of Arachis hypogaea L. var TcGS 320 under controlled pot culture methods. Plants were cultivated with 25, 50, 75 and 100% of the effluent and a control without the effluent. The treatment of the crop with 25% of the effluent has shown stimulatory effect on all the biochemical parameters studied. carbohydrates, starch, aminoacids, protein, nitrate and nitrite reductase enzymatic activities have increased in 10, 15, 20 DAS （days after sowing）. In 25 and 30 DAS all biochemical parameters have decreased, due to environmental factors （rainfall, temperature, humidity, etc.）. The present investigation clearly indicated that the biomass power plant effluent has stimulatory effect on all the biochemical contents at lower concentration, and at higher concentration they have deleterious effects.

Using categorical techniques we obtain some results on localization and colocalization theory in Grothendieck categories with a set of small projective generators. In particular, we give a sufficient condition for such category to be semiartinian. For semiartinian Grothendieck categories where every simple object has a projective cover, we obtain that every localizing subcategory is a TTF-class. In addition, some applications to semiperfect categories are obtained.

The combination of U-Pb and Lu-Hf compositions measured in zircon crystals is a remarkably powerful isotopic couplet that provides measures on both the timing of mineral growth and the radiogenic enrichment of the source from which the zircon *** U-Pb age documents the timing of zircon crystallization/recrystallization and Hf isotopes inform on the degree to which the host melt was derived from a radiogenic reservoir(*** mantle) versus an unradiogenic reservoir(*** continental crust),or some mixture of these *** ease of generating large quantities of zircon U-Pb and Lu-Hf data has been in large part facilitated by instrument ***,the dramatic increase in time constrained zircon Lu-Hf analyses in the Earth science community has brought to the fore the importance of careful data collection and reduction workflows,onto which robust geological interpretations may be *** this work,we discuss the fundamentals of Lu-Hf isotopes in zircon,which then allows us to provide a robust,accessible,methodology for the assessment of data ***,we discuss some novel techniques for:data visualization—that facilitates better transparency of data interpretation;integration of geographic information—that may reveal spatial trends where temporal trends were only apparent before;and some novel statistical evaluation tools—that may provide more rigorous interand intra-sample comparisons.

Earth has lately been suffering from unforeseen catastrophic phenomena related to the consequences of the greenhouse *** is therefore essential not only that sustainability criteria be incorporated into the everyday lifestyle,but also that energy-saving procedures be *** to the number of wind farms installed annually,wind energy is among the most promising sustainable-energy *** into account the last statement for energy-saving methods,it is essential to value the contribution of wind energy not only in eliminating cO_(2) emissions when producing electricity from wind,but also in assessing the total environmental impact associated with the entire lifetime of all the processes related with this energy-production *** order to quantify such environmental impacts,life-cycle analysis(LcA)is *** a matter of fact,there are a very limited number of studies devoted to LcA of onshore wind-energy-converter supporting towers-a fact that constitutes a first-class opportunity to perform high-end *** the present work,the life-cycle performance of two types of tall onshore wind-turbine towers has been investigated:a lattice tower and a tubular *** comparison reasons,both tower configurations have been designed to sustain the same loads,although they have been manufactured by different production methods,different amounts of material were used and different mounting procedures have been applied;all the aforementioned items diversify in their overall life-cycle performance as well as their performance in all LcA phases examined *** life-cycle performance of the two different wind-turbine-tower systems is calculated with the use of efficient open LcA software and valuable conclusions have been drawn when combining structural and LcA results in terms of comparing alternative configurations of the supporting systems for wind-energy converters.

A series of benzimidazole bearing 2-pyridones 5a-k were synthesized and assessed in vitro for their activity as antimicrobial agents using the conventional broth dilution method. The results of the antimicrobial study revealed that compounds 5b, 5c, Sj and 5k exhibited substantial antibacterial activity while compound 5d emerged as amore potent antifungal agent compared to the standard drugs chloramphenicol and ketoconazole, respectively. It was observed that the presence of inductively electron withdrawing groups remarkably enhance the antibacterial activity of the newly synthesized compounds. cytotoxicity studies suggested that none of the tested compounds exhibited any significant cytotoxic effects.

The packing patterns have close correlation with the thermoelastic properties of DnA adsorption films and the relevant detection signals of *** this paper,we investigate the influence of packing patterns on the thermoelastic properties of DnA adsorption films,the detection signals of microcantilevers and their temperature ***,the Parsegian's empirical potential based on a mesoscopic liquid crystal theory is employed to describe the interaction energy among coarse-grained DnA cylinders;then,the thought experiment method and the force balance method of nonlinear elastic network nodes are combined to characterize the elastic modulus,prestress and thermal expansion coefficient of DnA adsorption films;finally,based on an effective macroscopic continuum model for DnA microbeam deformation,we study the microcantilever resonance frequency shifts caused by DnA adsorptions and the temperature effect on the microcantilever static deflections,*** show that,compared with the convex-packaged,the re-entrant honeycomb packing pattern endows DnA adsorption films with a larger adjustable range of the elastic modulus and prestress,so as to make DnA-microcantilevers having an enhanced dynamic detection signal whereas a weaker response to temperature *** results are expected to provide a new option for the regulation design of DnA composite materials and microbeam sensors.

In this paper, the time evolution of the quantum mechanical state of a polaron is examined using the Pekar type variational method on the condition of the electric-LO-phonon strong-coupling and polar angle in Rbc1 triangular quantum dot. We obtain the eigenenergies, and the eigenfunctions of the ground state, and the first excited state respectively. This system in a quantum dot can be treated as a two-level quantum system qubit and the numerical calculations are performed. The effects of Shannon entropy and electric field on the polaron in the Rbc1 triangular quantum dot are also studied.
