Under the action of marine currents,non-cohesive sediments evolve by bed-load,by saltation or suspension depending on their *** authors have c.n.idered that the movement of sediment is bidimensional and modelized the effects of swell by a c.n.tant velocitynear the *** we have studied the velocity profile of fluctuating currents near the seabed and studied the movement of sediment in *** results show that in the areas of study（surf and swash）the movement of sediment occurs in a volume,and the evolution of sediment varies from an areato *** obtained theoretical profiles of the position and velocity vectors c.n.irm the observations of several authors.

Objective:To evaluate the anti-inflammatory potential of aqueous extract of Pterocarpus santalinus *** using molecular docking and in vivo ***:An aqueous extract of Pterocarpus santalinus heartwood was prepared using a Soxhlet *** in the extract were tentatively identified using high-resolution mass *** docking experiments were carried out to evaluate the binding affinity of selected compounds,phloridzin to cyclooxygenase-1(cOX-1),cyclooxygenase-2(cOX-2),prostaglandin E synthase-1(PGES-1)and 5-lipoxygenase(5-LOX).Anti-inflammatory potential was evaluated by carageenan induced paw edema model in ***:The presence of major component phloridzin along with quercetin,parthenin,ginkgolide B,picrotoxinin,usnic acid,octopine,and epigallocatechin was detected in the *** docking study showed that phloridzin inhibited cOX-1,cOX-2,PGES-1 and 5-LOX with more affinity than ibuprofen and *** santalinus heartwood extract at 200 and 400 mg/kg BW showed signific.n. reduction in carageenan-induced hind paw edema in a dose-dependent manner,but the effect was slow when compared with the standard ibuprofen(30 mg/kg p.o.).c.n.lusions:The study indicated that after clinical trials,the aqueous extract of Pterocarpus santalinus heartwood c.n.be effectively used in phytotherapy to treat inflammation.

The corrosion behavior of pure aluminum in neutral 3.0% （mass fraction） sodium chloride （na-cl） solution has been studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy （EIS） measurement in c.n.unction with the sc.n.ing electron microscopy （SEM） tec.n.que. EIS information on the evolution of pitting corrosion over a period of 15 days has been obtained and analyzed with equivalent circuit tec.n.que. The results shown that, during the ensemble c.n.tant immersion time, two time c.n.tants involved, the high frequency one originated from the protective layer on the corroding surface while the low frequenO, one from the diffusion process or the corrosion reaction and so on. And there existed a period for oxide film to growth and thickening prior to the of the attacking of chloride ions to the substrate. Meanwhile, good relationship between EIS and the material corrosion type/severity has been obtained, which has been interpreted according to the characteristics of corrosion process such as auto acceleration of pitting corrosion and the protection of local anodic reaction to the area around them.

In c.n.rast to classical dimensional analysis, discriminated dimensional analysis assumes that spatial coordinates are dimensionally independent of each other and allows other types of geometrical quantity to be used in the dimensional basis, such as surfaces and angles. As a c.n.equence, discriminated dimensional analysis leads to a lower number of dimensional groups, which makes the solution more precise. Besides, these discriminated groups have a clear physical meaning in terms of force and energy balances. The paper introduces this tec.n.que and provides dimensional equations for the main quantities and physical parameters of the heat transfer and fluid flow fields. Two applications are presented to demonstrate the efficiency of this method.

The process of mixed rare earth metal (REM) c.n.ersion coating on aluminum alloy LY12 (2024) was introduced. The corrosion resistance of mixed REM c.n.ersion coating was examined by using weight loss test and electrochemical method. The results show that the mixed REM c.n.ersion coating increases the corrosion resistance of the alloy surface. Examination result of sc.n.ing electron microscope (SEM) shows that the coating exhibits honeycomb-like feature. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis reveals that the coating is amorphous. The result of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) indicates that mixed REM c.n.ersion coating c.n.ists predominantly of ce and O. The c.n.ents of other rare earth elements (La, Pr) are relatively low.

Antimony induced crystallization of PVD （physics vapor deposition） amorphous silic.n.c.n.be observed on sapphire substrates. Very large crystalline regions up to several tens of micrometers c.n.be formed. The Si diffraction patterns of the area of crystaUization c.n.be observed with TEM （transmission electron microscopy）. Only a few and much smaller crystals of the order of 1 μm were formed when the antimony layer was deposited by MBE （molecular beam epitaxy） compared with a layer formed by thermal evaporation. The use of high vacuum is essential in order to observe any Sb induced crystallization at all. In addition it is necessary to take measures to limit the evaporation of the antimony.

A microbial fungus - Aspergillus terreus was used to degrade phosphorus in nigeria’s Agbaja iron ore in the laboratory. The ore was first crushed to very tiny particles, screened using Shital test kits and 1.00/0.50mm, 0.50/0.25mm and 0.25/0.125mm particle size fractions were selected for the experiment. The microbes, obtained from the nasc.n. remains on the ore environment, were cultured, used to inoculate 1g of sterile ore samples in 250ml c.n.cal flasks c.n.aining 100ml of equally sterile malt extract broth media and left to stand. At weekly interval, the samples were removed, treated through series of chemical reactions and ammonium phospho-molybdate precipitate was obtained. This was back-titrated with 0.1 nHcl to determine the amount of phosphorus left in samples and c.n.equently, the amount removed. Findings reveal that A. terreus is capable of degrading the ore samples. pH monitoring reveals that the P degradation process proceeded in a culture media of increasing acidity. It is recommended to further study the chemistry of the mixture of culture media, ore samples and microbes to find parameters that favour the degradation process.
