The comprehension of sediment grain size parameters and the corresponding sedimentary environment holds paramount importance in elucidating the engineering geological attributes of the subaqueous *** study delineated the sedimentary environment zoning in the northern sea area of Qingdao through cluster analysis of grain size parameters derived from 123 surface sediment *** study analyzed the correlation between sediment geotechnical indices and grain size parameters across diverse sedimentary environments.A correlation equation was established for samples exhibiting a strong *** study found four distinct sedimentary environments in the study area:coastal,transitional,shallow sea,and *** the same sedimentary environment,the average grain size and sorting coefficient exhibit significant correlations with geotechnical indices such as water content,density,shear strength,plastic limit,liquid limit,and plastic ***,notable disparities in the correlation between grain size parameters and geotechnical indices emerge across different sedimentary environments.

The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mobile fin with a magnetism in the presence of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is carried out. Three types of nanoparticles, each having a different shape, are considered. These shapes include spherical(Fe_3O_4), cylindrical(Au), and platelet(Zn) configurations. The combination approach is utilized to evaluate the physical and thermal characteristics of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids, excluding the thermal conductivity and dynamic viscosity. These two properties are inferred by means of the interpolation method based on the volume fraction of nanoparticles. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian decomposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTM) is adopted to solve the conundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained results agree well with those numerical simulation results, indicating that this research is reliable. The influence of diverse factors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphical representations. Furthermore, the fluctuations in the heat transfer concerning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presence of the combination of spherical, cylindrical, and platelet nanoparticles is higher than that in the presence of the combination of only spherical and cylindrical nanoparticles. The temperature at the fin tip increases by 0.705 759% when the value of the Peclet number increases by 400%, while decreases by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman number increases by 400%.

Bottom water coning is the main reason to reduce the recovery of horizontal bottom water reservoir. By water coning, we mean the oil-water interface changes from a horizontal state to a mound-shaped cone and breaks through to the wellbore. Autonomous inflow control device(AIcD) is an important instrument maintain normal production after bottom water coning, however, the resistance increasing ability of the swirl type AIcD is insufficient at present, which seriously affects the water control effect. Aiming this problem, this paper designs a multi-stage resistance-increasing and composite type AIcD. The separation mechanism of oil-water two phases in this structure, the resistance form of oil-water single phase and the resistance-increasing principle of water phase are analyzed. Establishing the dual-phase multi-stage separation and resistance-increasing model, and verified by measuring the throttling pressure drop and oil-water volume fraction of the AIcD, it is found that the composite type AIcD has the effect of IcD and AIcD at the same time, which can balance the production rate of each well section at the initial stage of production, delay the occurrence of bottom water coning. In the middle and later stages of production, water-blocking can be effectively increased to achieve water control and stable *** structural sensitivity analysis, the influence law of various structural parameters on the water control performance of composite AIcD was obtained. The simulation calculation results show that,compared with the existing swirl type AIcD, composite AIcD has higher sensitivity to moisture content,the water phase throttling pressure drop is increased by 4.5 times on average. The composite AIcD is suitable for the entire stage of horizontal well production.

The collapse of granular material in fluids is a prevalent phenomenon in both natural and industrial processes,displaying a notable sensitivity to initial configuration of the *** study is specifically oriented towards falling process of collapsing material under various fluid conditions,employing the computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method(cFD-DEM)to primarily investigate the dynamics and scaling laws of deposit morphology of collapsed *** a comprehensive analysis of particle sedimentation in fluids,we introduce a refined inertial characteristic time for granular collapse within the inertial ***,we propose modifications to conventional fluid-particle density ratio and Reynolds number,aiming to enhance the accuracy of depicting collapse dynamics and identifying flow regimes across diverse column heights and fluid ***,we construct a phase diagram of flow regimes using modified dimensionless numbers,emphasizing the role of column height in transition between viscous and inertial *** parameters demonstrate enhanced relevance in governing the collapse of immersed granular columns,thereby contributing to a more nuanced understanding of fluid-particle interations in dense granular flows under different regimes.

We present a novel time-of-flight resolved Bessel light bullet-enabled stimulated Raman scattering(B2-SRS)microscopy for deeper tissue 3D chemical imaging with high resolution without a need for mechanical *** accomplish the tasks,we conceive a unique method to enable optical sectioning by generating the counterpropagating pump and Stokes Bessel light bullets in the sample,in which the group velocities of the Bessel light bullets are made ultraslow(e.g.,vg≈0.1c)and tunable by introducing programmable angular dispersions with a spatial light *** theoretically analyze the working principle of the collinear multicolor Bessel light bullet generations and velocity controls with the relative time-of-flight resolved detection for SRS 3D deep tissue *** have also built the B2-SRS imaging system and present the first demonstration of B2-SRS microscopy with Bessel light bullets for 3D chemical imaging in a variety of samples(e.g.,polymer bead phantoms,biological samples such as spring onion tissue and porcine brain)with high *** B2-SRS technique provides a>2-fold improvement in imaging depth in porcine brain tissue compared to conventional SRS *** method of optical sectioning in tissue using counter-propagating ultraslow Bessel light bullets developed in B2-SRS is generic and easy to perform and can be readily extended to other nonlinear optical imaging modalities to advance 3D microscopic imaging in biological and biomedical systems and beyond.

The accumulation of coal gangue(cG)from coal mining is an important source of heavy metals(HMs)in *** spatial distribution and environment risk assessment are extremely important for the management and remediation of *** soil samples were collected from the high-sulfur cG site in northern china and analyzed for six *** results showed that the soil was heavily contaminated by Mn,cr and Ni based on the Nemerow index,and posed seriously ecological risk depended on the geo-accumulation index,potential ecological risk index and risk assessment *** semi-variogram model and ordinary kriging interpolation accurately portrayed the spatial distribution of ***,Mn,and cr were distributed by band diffusion,Ni was distributed by core,the distribution of cu had obvious patchiness and Zn was more *** spatial autocorrelation indicated that all HMs had strong spatial *** BcR sequential extraction was employed to qualify the geochemical fractions of *** data indicated that Fe and cr were dominated by residual fraction;cu,Ni and Zn were dominated by reducible and oxidizable fractions;Mn was dominated by reducible and acid-extractable(25.38%-44.67%)*** correlation analysis showed that pH was the main control factor affecting the non-residue fractions of ***,acid production from high sulfur cG reduced soil pH by 2-3,which indirectly promoted the activity of ***,the conceptual model of HMs contamination at the cG site was proposed,which can be useful for the development of ecological remediation strategies.

The hybrid cascaded high-voltage direct current(HVDc)transmission system has various operation modes,and some operation modes have sharply increasing requirements for protection rapidity,while the traditional pilot differential protection(PDP)has poor rapidity,and even refuses to operate when faults occur on the Dc ***,a novel pilot protection scheme based on traveling wave characteristics is ***,the adaptability of the traditional PDP applied in engineering is analyzed for different operation ***,the expressions of the forward traveling wave(FTW)and backward traveling wave(BTW)on the rectifier side and the inverter side are derived for different fault *** the theoretical derivation,the difference between the BTW and FTW on the rectifier side is less than zero,and the same is true on the inverter ***,in the event of an external fault of Dc line,the difference between the BTW and FTW at nearfault terminal protection installation point is greater than ***,by summing over the product of the difference between BTW and FTW of the rectifier side and that of the inverter side,the fault identification criterion is *** simulation results show that the proposed pilot protection scheme can quickly and reliably identify the short-circuit faults of Dc line in different operation modes.
