The current healthcare system in Hong kong is experiencing pressure due to constrained resources,with dramatic increases in inpatient services queue lengths,dissatisfaction with the working environment,unacceptable workforce arrangements and high turnover rate of hospital *** maintain the robustness of the healthcare system and a sustainable inpatients flow,the Food and Health Bureau launched a public-private partnership programme to utilise the resources of the public and private *** research investigates the potential for extension of the programme and further enhancing the sustainability of the long-term inpatient services under a mixed public-private healthcare policy via system dynamic *** findings show that an increase of human resources in public hospitals does not substantially improve inpatient flow rate ***,the results from the system dynamic approach provide insights into the expansion of the service areas of the programme and suggest increasing the number of referrals to private hospitals.

Single-cell and spatial omics:exploring hypothalamic heterogeneity

cross docking is one of the innovation product distribution strategies for transhipment of time-sensitive products. In cross dock, the products spend no more than 24 hours in the system: from the time they are sent to the cross dock to the time they are delivered to the customers. It is important for cross dock manager to determine the schedule of the truck, the load of the truck, and the route of the truck simultaneously. The objective of this research is to minimize the (1) transportation cost of delivering the products from cross-dock to the customers, (2) the inventory holding cost and (3) the penalty cost of early and late delivery. cPLEX is used for the preliminary experiments. It is found that the mixed-integer programming is only effective to solve small scale problem. Thus, the future work is to develop meta-heuristics method to solve the problem effectively and efficiently.

Elucidating the complex dynamic cellular organization in the hypothalamus is critical for understanding its role in coordinating fundamental body functions. Over the past decade, single-cell and spatial omics technologies have significantly evolved, overcoming initial technical challenges in capturing and analyzing individual cells. These high-throughput omics technologies now offer a remarkable opportunity to comprehend the complex spatiotemporal patterns of transcriptional diversity and cell-type characteristics across the entire hypothalamus. current single-cell and single-nucleus RNA sequencing methods comprehensively quantify gene expression by exploring distinct phenotypes across various subregions of the hypothalamus. However, single-cell/single-nucleus RNA sequencing requires isolating the cell/nuclei from the tissue, potentially resulting in the loss of spatial information concerning neuronal networks. Spatial transcriptomics methods, by bypassing the cell dissociation, can elucidate the intricate spatial organization of neural networks through their imaging and sequencing technologies. In this review, we highlight the applicative value of single-cell and spatial transcriptomics in exploring the complex molecular-genetic diversity of hypothalamic cell types, driven by recent high-throughput achievements.

Advanced OER/HER electrocatalytic alternatives are crucial for the wide adaptation of green hydrogen ***,Ru/NimnB spherical cluster pillar （ScP）,denoted as Ru/NimnB,is synthesized using a combination of electro-deposition and hydrothermal *** investigation of Ru doping in the NimnB matrix revealed significant improvements in electrocatalytic *** Ru/NimnB ScPs demonstrate superior OER/HER activity with low overpotentials of 150 and 103 mV at 50mA/cm2in 1 m kOH,making them highly competitive with state-of-the-art ***,the Ru/NimnB ScPs exhibit a low 2-E cell voltage of 2.80 V at ultra-high current density of 2,000 m A/cm2in 1 m kOH,outperforming the standard benchmark electrodes of RuO2||Pt/c,thereby positioning Ru/NimnB as one of the best bifunctional *** ScPs exhibit exceptional high-current characteristics,stability and corrosion resistance,as evidenced by continuous operation at 1,000 mA/cm2high-current density for over 150 h in 6 m kOH at elevated temperatures under harsh industrial *** a small amount of Ru incorporation significantly enhances the electrocatalytic performances of NimnB,attributed to increased active sites and improved intrinsic properties such as conductivity,adsorption/desorption capability and reaction ***,Ru/NimnB ScPs present a promising bi-functional electrode concept for efficient green H2production.

In the present work,the dispersion casting of Y-2O-3 particles in aluminum-copper alloy was investigated in terms of microstructural changes with respect to cu contents of 20 （hypo）,33 （eutectic） and 40 （hyper） wt pct by scanning electron microscopy （SEm） and energy dispersive spectroscopy （EDS）.For the fabrication of Al-cu alloy dispersed Y-2O-3 ceramic particles,stir casting method was *** case of Al-20 wt pct cu alloy （hypoeutectic）,SEm images revealed that primary Al was grown up in the *** that,eutectic phase with well dispersed ceramic particles was *** case of eutectic composition,Y-2O-3 particles were uniformly dispersed in the *** the cu is added into Al up to 40 wt pct （hypereutectic）,primary phase was grown up without any Y-2O-3 ceramic particles in the early stage of ***, eutectic phase was formed with well dispersed ceramic *** can be concluded that Y-2O-3 ceramic particles is mostly dispersed in case of eutectic composition in Al-cu alloy.

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries （AZIBs） have received considerable attention owing to their various advantages such as safety,low cost,simple battery assembly conditions,and high ionic ***,they still suffer from serious problems,including uncontrollable dendrite growth,corrosion,hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） from water decomposition,electrode passivation,and unexpected *** creation of a uniform artificial nanocrystal layer on the Zn anode surface is a promising strategy for resolving these ***,we propose the use of a perovskite caTiO3（cTO） protective layer on Zn（cTO@Zn） as a promising approach for improving the performance of *** cTO artificial layer provides an efficient pathway for Zn ion diffusion towards the Zn metal because of the high dielectric constant （εr=180） and ferroelectric characteristics that enable the alignment of dipole moments and redistribute the Zn2+ions in the cTO *** avoiding the direct contact of the Zn anode with the electrolyte solution,the uneven dendrite growth,corrosion,parasitic side reactions,and HER are mitigated,while cTO retains its mechanical and chemical robustness during ***,cTO@Zn demonstrates an improved lifespan in a symmetric cell configuration compared with bare ***@Zn shows steady overpotential （～68 m V） for 1500 h at 1 mA cm-2/0.5 mA h cm-2,excelling bare ***,when paired with the V2O5-c cathode,the cTO@Zn//V2O5-c full battery delivers 148.4 mA h g-1（based on the mass of the cathode） after 300 *** study provides new insights into Zn metal anodes and the development of high-performance AZIBs.

Re-industrialization, which supports industrial upgrading and transformation, promotes smart production and high value-added manufacturing processes, and helps to create new momentum for the economic. Under the current situation, industrialists encounter several chal- lenges to achieve re-industrialization. Firstly, the cost and technical thresholds for industrialists to leverage emerging technologies are high. Secondly, there are huge quantities and numerous types of Internet of things （IoT） devices in smart factories, warehouses and offices. The enormous extents of data exchange and communication, manage- ment, monitoring and control of IoT devices as well as the establishment and maintenance of a reliable cloud platform hinder industrialists to implement an integrated smart production management. Therefore, to achieve re-indus- trialization, an industrial Internet of things （IIoT） suite consisting of a micro-services-based IIoT cloud platform and IIoT-based smart hub is proposed, which helps to materialize re-industrialization and to conduct industrial upgrading and transformation to achieve smart production and high value-added manufacturing processes.

Role of Ag microalloying on glass forming ability and crystallization kinetics of ZrcoAgAlNi amorphous alloy

Bulk metallic glasses(BmGs) with new chemical compositions(ZrcoAgAlNi) were fabricated and the effects of Ag minor addition on the glass forming ability(GFA) and crystallization kinetics were studied. The x-ray diffraction(XRD) test was applied to identify the amorphousness of BmGs or possible crystalline phases. Using differential scanning calorimeter(DSc), the thermal stability and crystallization kinetics under a non-isothermal condition at the different heating rates were studied. considering the heating rate dependency of glass transition and crystallization kinetics, the activation energy was evaluated and measured for the mentioned processes. It was revealed that the rise in Ag content led to the decrease in activation energy for glass transition, while the activation energy for crystallization increased. The thermal stability and GFA were also studied and it was found that the Ag addition strongly affected the inherent features of BmGs. With the increase in Ag content, the atomic mobility and structural rearrangement changed in the material and consequently, the GFA and thermal stability were significantly improved.
