Boron is an important industrial raw material often sourced from minerals containing different compounds that cocrystallize,which makes it difficult to separate the mineral phases through conventional *** study proposed a new treatment called flash reduction-melting separation(FRMS)for boron-bearing iron *** this method,the concentrates were first flash-reduced at the temperature under which the particles melt,and the slag and the reduced iron phases disengaged at the particle *** reduc-tion and melting effects were achieved above 1550℃.The B_(2)O_(3) content in the separated slag was over 18wt%,and the B content in the iron was less than 0.03wt%.The proposed FRMS method was tested to investigate the effects of factors such as ore particle size and tem-perature on the reduction and melting steps with and without pre-reducing the raw *** mineral phase transformation and morphology evolution in the ore particles during FRMS were also comprehensively analyzed.

A full-cycle numerical simulation of a circulating fluidized bed(cFB)by the use of the computational particle fluid dynamics(cPFD)method has been *** effects of the presence or absence of the secondary air,different secondary air positions,and different secondary air ratios on the gas–solid flow characteristics were *** results show that the presence of the secondary air makes a core-annular structure of the velocity distribution of particles in the fluidized bed,which enhances the uniformity of particles’distribution and the stability of *** position and the ratio of the secondary air have a significant impact on the particle distribution,particle flow rate,and gas flow rate in the fluidized *** the secondary air position and ratio are optimal,the particles,particle flow rate,and air flow rate in the cFB are evenly distributed,the gas–solid flow state is good,and the cFB can operate stably.

BAcKGROUND Double-chambered left ventricle(DcLV)is an extremely rare congenital disease in which the left ventricle(LV)is divided by abnormal muscle *** to its rarity,there is a lack of data on the disease,including its diagnosis,treatment,and ***,we report a case in which DcLV was diagnosed and followed *** SUMMARY A 45-year-old man presented to our hospital due to abnormal findings on an electrocardiogram recorded during a health *** had no specific cardiac symptoms,comorbidities or relevant past medical *** revealed that the LV was divided into two by muscle *** were no findings of ischemia on coronary angiography and coronary computed tomography angiography performed to exclude differential *** comprehensive analysis of the images,DcLV was *** it seemed to be asymptomatic DcLV,we decided the patient was to be observed without administering any ***,follow-up echocardiography revealed a thrombus in the accessory chamber(Ac).Anticoagulant medication was initiated,the thrombus resolved,and the patient is currently undergoing follow-up without any specific *** Asymptomatic,uncomplicated DcLV was diagnosed through multimodal imaging;however,a thrombus in the Ac occurred during the *** findings highlight that multimodal imaging is essential in diagnosing DcLV,and that anticoagulation is important in its management.
