This paper is the extension of our previous work entitled "Searching a systematics for nonfactorizable contributions to B-and ■ hadronic decays".Obtaining the factorizable contributions from the spectator-quark model for Nc=3,a systematic s was identified among the iso spin reduced amplitudes for the nonfactorizable terms among ■→Dπ/D*π/Dρ decay *** systematics enables us to derive a generic formula to help predict the branching fractions for ■-*** by this observation,we extend our analysis to p-wave meson emitting decays of B-meson ■→PA/PT/PS,particularly ■→a1D/πD1/πD'1/πrD2/πD0,which have similar isospin structures and make predictions for B0-decays,for which experimental measurements are not yet available.

Impact of nonextensivity on the transport coefficients of strongly interacting QcD matter

Tsallis nonextensive statistics is applied to study the transport coefficients of strongly interacting matter within the Polyakov chiral SU（3） quark mean field model（PcQMF）.Nonextensivity is introduced within the PcQMF model through a dimensionless parameter q to examine the viscous properties,such as shear viscosity（η）and bulk viscosity（ζb）,and conductive properties,such as electrical conductivity(σel) and thermal conductivity（κ）.Additionally,some key thermodynamic quantities relevant to the transport coefficients,such as the speed of sound(csq2) and specific heat at constant volume(evq),are *** temperature dependence of the transport coefficients is explored through a kinetic theory approach with the relaxation time *** results are compared to those of the extensive case where q approaches *** nonextensive q parameter is found to have a significant effect on all transport *** find that the nonextensive behaviour of the medium enhances specific shear viscosity η/sq,as well as conductive coefficients σel/T and κ/*** contrast,the normalized bulk viscosity ζb/sqis found to decrease as the nonextensivity of the medium *** also studied the transport coefficients for finite values of chemical *** magnitudes of η,σel,and κ increase at lower temperatures,while ζbis found to decrease for systems with non-zero chemical potential.

A comprehensive investigation on nonlinear vibration and bending characteristics of bio-inspired helicoidal laminated composite structures

Bio-inspired helicoidal composite laminates, inspired by the intricate helical structures found in nature, present a promising frontier for enhancing the mechanical properties of structural designs. Hence, this study provides a comprehensive investigation into the nonlinear free vibration and nonlinear bending behavior of bio-inspired composite plates. The inverse hyperbolic shear deformation theory(IHSDT) of plates is employed to characterize the displacement field, with the incorporation of Green-Lagrange nonlinearity. The problem is modeled using the c0finite element method(FEM), and an in-house code is developed in the MATLAB environment to solve it numerically. Various helicoidal layup configurations including helicoidal recursive(HR), helicoidal exponential(HE), helicoidal semi-circular(HS), linear helicoidal(LH), and Fibonacci helicoidal(FH)with different layup sequences and quasi-isotropic configurations are studied. The model is validated, and parametric studies are conducted. These studies investigate the effects of layup configurations, side-to-thickness ratio, modulus ratios, boundary conditions, and loading conditions at different load amplitudes on the nonlinear vibration and nonlinear bending behaviors of bio-inspired composite plates. The results show that the laminate sequence exerts a substantial impact on both nonlinear natural frequencies and nonlinear bending behaviors. Moreover, this influence varies across different side-to-thickness ratios and boundary conditions of the bio-inspired composite plate.

BAcKGROUND The NaV1.1 sodium channel alpha subunit,encoded by ScN1A,is crucial for initiating and propagating action potentials in ***1A gene has long been an established target in the etiology and therapy of ***,very few studies have investigated the relevance of genetic variations in epilepsy and anti-epileptic drug *** To investigate associations between polymorphisms,rs121917953 T/A and rs121918623 c/T,and drug resistance in epilepsy patients in the north Indian *** A total of 100 age-and sex-matched epilepsy patients(50 drug responsive and 50 drug resistant subjects)were recruited and ScN1A rs121918623 c/T*and rs121917953 T/A*polymorphisms were analyzed by the allele specific-PcR technique.χ^(2)and Fisher’s exact test were used to estimate differences between the distribution of ScN1A rs121918623 and rs121917953 gene polymorphisms among various *** association between distinct rs121917953 genotypes and drug resistance was analyzed using logistic regression *** For the ScN1A rs121917953 T/A*(D188V)polymorphism,a significantly higher proportion of individuals with AT genotype were observed in the drug-resistant group as compared to the drug-responsive ***,a higher risk association was exhibited by AT genotype for drug resistance with an odds ratio of 3.51 and P value=*** the ScN1A rs121918623 c/T*(T875M)polymorphism,no significant difference in genotype distribution was observed between the drug-resistant and drug-sensitive *** Our findings indicate that the ScN1A polymorphism D188V is associated with a higher risk of drug resistance for the AT variant as compared to the homozygous TT *** research is needed at the functional level and in larger cohorts to determine the potential of these genes as a therapeutic target in epilepsy subjects.

Evaluating the hydrocarbon generation potential of the Paleocene–Eocene carbonaceous rocks in the Barmer and Bikaner-Nagaur Basins, western Rajasthan, India

The Bikaner-Nagaur and Barmer Basins(Rajasthan)are the most important petroliferous sedimentary basins in *** over a decade,the exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons in these ***-Eocene age rocks bear organic-rich sediments in these basins,including lignite and carbonaceous shale *** present research investigates the source rock properties,petroleum potential and thermal maturity of the carbonaceous shale partings from the lignite mines of Gurha(Bikaner-Nagaur Basin)and Kapurdi(Barmer Basin)using petrographical and geochemical *** carbonaceous shales have high organic matter(OM),with considerable total organic carbon(TOc)contents ranging from 13%to 39%.Furthermore,they contain hydrogen-rich kerogen,including types II and II/III,as evidenced by the Rock-Eval and elemental analysis *** existence of these kerogen types indicates the abundance of reactive(vitrinite and liptinite)***,the carbonaceous shales from the Bikaner–Nagaur Basin have oil generation potentials,with a high hydrogen index(up to 516 mg Hc/g TOc)and a H/c ratio(up to 1.5)along with a significant presence of oil-prone liptinitic *** from the geochemical and petrological results,the studied shales have low huminite reflectance(0.31%–0.48%),maximum temperature(S_(2) peak;Tmax)between 419℃ and 429℃,and low production index values(PI:0.01–0.03).These results indicate that these carbonaceous shales contain immature OM,and thereby,they cannot yet release commercial amount of *** immaturity level in the studied outcrop section is due to the shallow burial *** proxies further indicate the presence of both oil and gas-prone source rocks.

Ethnobotanical survey of medicinal plants used in the management of cancer and diabetes

OBJEcTIVE:To conduct an ethnobotanical survey and document the traditional anticancer and antidiabetic plants used by the local tribes of Mizoram,Northeast ***:A systematic survey was conducted in rural and urban areas of Mizoram by interviewing traditional practitioners,and cancer and diabetes patients.A detailed literature search was carried out using MEDLINE and ScOPUS and available literatures were selected and included in the *** use value(UV)of the selected plants was calculated based on the number of citations per species given by ***:Data was obtained for 201 traditional medicinal plants from Mizoram,Northeast *** plants were from 72 different families and belonged to 140 *** these,103 plants were reported for the first time as possessing either anticancer or antidiabetic potential,and 105 plants were identified that were used for the treatment of both *** plants(Phlogacanthus thysiformis,Solanum gilo and Lobelia angulata)with antidiabetic potential,and six plants(Dillenia scabrella,circium sinesis,Eupatorium nodiflorum,Pratia begonifolia,Vernonia teres and Plantago erosa)with both as anticancer and antidiabetic potential were documented for the first ***:In this study,we documented several explored and unexplored medicinal plants that may be useful for the management of cancer and *** study suggests that there is a broad scope fordeveloping potent anticancer and antidiabetic agent from the flora of Mizoram,Northeast India.
