Internet of Things(IoT)has become a major technological development which offers smart infrastructure for the cloud-edge services by the interconnection of physical devices and virtual things among mobile applications and embedded *** e-healthcare application solely depends on the IoT and cloud computing environment,has provided several characteristics and *** research works reported that the energy consumption for transmission process is significantly higher compared to sensing and processing,which led to quick exhaustion of *** this view,this paper introduces a new energy efficient cluster enabled clinical decision support system(EEc-cDSS)for embedded IoT *** presented EEccDSS model aims to effectively transmit the medical data from IoT devices and perform accurate diagnostic *** EEc-cDSS model incorporates particle swarm optimization with levy distribution(PSO-L)based clustering technique,which clusters the set of IoT devices and reduces the amount of data *** addition,the IoT devices forward the data to the cloud where the actual classification procedure is *** classification process,variational autoencoder(VAE)is used to determine the existence of disease or *** order to investigate the proficient results analysis of the EEc-cDSS model,a wide range of simulations was carried out on heart disease and diabetes *** obtained simulation values pointed out the supremacy of the EEc-cDSS model interms of energy efficiency and classification accuracy.

Status and prospects for symmetric organic redox flow batteries

As environmental concerns from fossil fuel consumption intensify, large-scale energy storage becomes imperative for the integration of renewable sources like wind, hydro, and solar with the electrical *** flow batteries, particularly those employing organic molecules, are positioned as a key technology for this purpose. This review explores the growing field of symmetric organic redox flow batteries(ORFBs) within this context. Unlike traditional asymmetric designs based on unique active materials for each electrode, symmetric ORFBs involve a single bipolar species for both electrodes. This review highlights the benefits of a symmetric design, and categorizes five distinct classes of organic bipolar molecules used in both aqueous and non-aqueous solvents. By providing a comprehensive overview of their cell cycling and performance characteristics, the strengths and weaknesses of the diverse categories of bipolar molecules are highlighted for both solvent systems, as are opportunities for future development. This should guide new research directions and advance the development of practical symmetric ORFBs.

A Post-Processing Algorithm for Boosting contrast of MRI Images

Machine learning empowers efficient design of ternary organic solar cells with PM6 donor

Organic solar cells(OScs) hold great potential as a photovoltaic technology for practical ***, the traditional experimental trial-and-error method for designing and engineering OScs can be complex, expensive, and time-consuming. Machine learning(ML) techniques enable the proficient extraction of information from datasets, allowing the development of realistic models that are capable of predicting the efficacy of materials with commendable accuracy. The PM6 donor has great potential for high-performance OScs. However, it is crucial for the rational design of a ternary blend to accurately forecast the power conversion efficiency(PcE) of ternary OScs(TOScs) based on a PM6 ***, we collected the device parameters of PM6-based TOScs and evaluated the feature importance of their molecule descriptors to develop predictive models. In this study, we used five different ML algorithms for analysis and prediction. For the analysis, the classification and regression tree provided different rules, heuristics, and patterns from the heterogeneous dataset. The random forest algorithm outperforms other prediction ML algorithms in predicting the output performance of PM6-based TOScs. Finally, we validated the ML outcomes by fabricating PM6-based TOScs. Our study presents a rapid strategy for assessing a high PcE while elucidating the substantial influence of diverse descriptors.

Wireless Power Transfer for 6G Network Using Monolithic components on GaN

A novel architecture for Wireless Power Transfer(WPT)module using monolithic components on GaN is presented in this *** design of such a WPT module receives Dc power from solar panels,consists of photonic power converter(PPc),beamforming antenna,low pass filter,input matching network,rectifier,output matching network and logic circuit(off-chip)which are all integrated on a GaN *** WPT components show excellent simulated performance,for example,our novel beam-forming antenna and multiple port wideband antenna have a gain of 8.7 dB and 7.3 dB *** have added a band pass filter to the rectifier output which gives two benefits to the *** first one is filtering circuit will remove unwanted harmonics before collecting Dc power and second is filter will boost the efficiency of rectifier by optimizing the load *** proposed rectifier has RF-Dc conversion efficiency of 74%and 67%with beam-forming antenna and multiple port wide band antenna *** WPT module is designed to charge a rechargeable battery(3 V and 1 mA)of a radio module which will be used between two antennas in future 5G *** believe our proposed WPT module architecture is unique and it is applicable to both microwave and millimeter wave systems such as 6G.
