Mexican beech[Fagus grandifolia ***(Martinez)***]is a subspecies endemic to the Sierra Madre Oriental Mountains and considered endangered due to the low density of its populations and high degree of habitat fragmentation and environmental *** its morphological and genetic variation is associated with its ability to adapt to changes in environmental conditions,the objective of this study was to determine whether phenotypic and genotypic variation exist,and it relationships with population reduction *** four beech populations in the states of Hidalgo and Veracruz,we analyzed 11 morphological variables for leaves and 6 micros atellite *** morphological variables that to discriminate between populations were related to the size of the leaf,but a robust differentiation pattern was not found,given that independent groups of leaves were *** populations located closest to each other,had greater genetic variation and less genetic distance;populations in the extreme north and south had the lowest genetic *** differentiation among populations was associated with reduction in population *** the 3 localities in Hidalgo,recent bottlenecks were identified,and in Veracruz,an old bottleneck was *** in leaf morphology and genetic structure of Mexican beech populations could be the result of a combination of various geographical,climate and ecological factors.

This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al2O3nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(Random Forest（RF）and catBoost) was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake Specific Fuel consumption（BSFc） of2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy Scum Methyl Ester Biodiesel 20%+neat Diesel 80%（in volume）,DSMEB20),57.14% less cO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased nOxemissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20nP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake Thermal Efficiency（BTE） of 26.29% in 3×10-5（in volume） Al2O3nanoparticle-blended DSME B20 and other DSME B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures（BTE,BSFc）,and emissions（cO,cO2,nOx,Smoke） are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BTE and BSFc shows that catBoost-based BTE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for cO and cO2emission results.

The peripheral repertoire of cD4＋ T lymphocytes contains autoreactive cells that remain tolerant through several mechanisms. However, nonspecific cD4＋ T cells can be activated in physiological conditions as in the course of an ongoing immune response, and their outcome is not yet fully understood. Here, we investigate the fate of human naive cD4＋ lymphocytes activated by dendritic cells （Dcs） presenting endogenous self-peptides in comparison with lymphocytes involved in alloresponses. We generated memory cells （Tmem） from primary effectors activated with mature autologous Dcs plus interleukin （IL）-2 （Tmauto）, simulating the circumstances of an active immune response, or allogeneic Dcs （Tmallo）. Tmem were generated from effector cells that were rested in the absence of antigenic stimuli, with or without IL-7. Tmem were less activated than effectors （demonstrated by cD25 downregulation） particularly with IL-7, suggesting that this cytokine may favour the transition to quiescence. Tmauto and TmaHo showed an effector memory phenotype, and responded similarly to polyclonal and antigen-specific stimuli. Biochemically, IL-7-treated Tma^o were closely related to conventional memory lymphocytes based on Erk-l/2 activation, whereas Tmauto were more similar to effectors. Autologous effectors exhibited lower responses to IL-7 than allogeneic cells, which were reflected in their reduced proliferation and higher cell death. This was not related to IL-7 receptor expression but rather to signalling deficiencies, according to STAT5 activation These results suggest that ineffective responses to IL-7 could impair the transition to memory cells of naive cD4＋ T lymphocytes recognizing self-peptides in the setting of strong costimulation.

Rising consumer concerns with synthetic drugs to treat non-communicable diseases(ncDs)have promoted a shift towards using natural biological active constituents that offer similar health *** canary seed(Phalaris canariensis L)is an emerging crop traditionally used in Mexico to treat *** liberated during simulated digestion of canary seed protein are believed to be responsible for their biological activity;however,no studies have shown the effect of controlled protein hydrolysis using commercial proteases on canary seed protein’s biological ***,this study aimed to explore the in vitro antihypertensive,antidiabetic,and anti-obesity activity of canary seed peptides derived from proteolysis with Alcalase®.Protein fractions were primarily composed of prolamins(54.07±1.8%),glutelins(32.19±3.18%),globulins(5.97±0.52%)and albumins(5.97±0.52%).Thend 3–10 kDa peptide fractions showed the highest inhibition capacity(pngiotensin-converting enzyme(Ic50=0.028–0.032 mg/mL)lipase(Ic50=2.15–2.27 mg/mL),α-glucosidase(Ic50=0.82–1.15 mg/mL),and dipeptidyl-peptidase-IV(Ic50=1.27–1.60 mg/mL).Additionally,these peptide fractions showed high antioxidant activity against DPPH(134.22–150.66μmol TE/mg)and ABTS(520.92–813.33μmol TE/mg).These results provide an insight into the potential development of functional foods using commercial enzymatic hydrolysis of canary seed proteins for treating hypertension,type-2 diabetes,and obesity.

This paper presents an alternative representation of a system of differential equations qualitatively showing the behavior of the biological rhythm of a crayfish during their transition from juvenile to adult stages. The model focuses on the interaction of four cellular oscillators coupled by diffusion of a hormone, a parameter μ is used to simu- late the quality of communication among the oscillators, in biological terms, it mea- sures developmental maturity of the crayfish. Since some quorum-sensing mechanism is assumed to be responsible for the synchronization of the biological oscillators, it is nat- ural to investigate the possibility that the underlying diffusion process is not standard, i.e. it may be a so-called anomalous diffusion. In this case, it is well understood that diffusion equations with fractional derivatives describe these processes in a more realis- tic way. The alternative formulation of these equations contains fractional operators of Liouville-caputo and caputo-Fabrizio type. The numerical simulations of the equations reflect synchronization of ultradian rhythms leading to a circadian rhythm. The classical behavior is recovered when the order of the fractional derivative is V = 1. We discuss possible biological implications.

This study performs a numerical analysis of three-dimensional liquid metal(LM) magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) flows in a square duct with an FcI in a non-uniform magnetic field. The current study predicts detailed information on flow velocity, Lorentz force, pressure, current and electric potential of MHD duct flows for different Hartmann numbers. Also, the effect of the electric conductivity of FcI on the pressure drop along the main flow direction in a non-uniform magnetic field is examined. The present study investigates the features of LM MHD flows in consideration of the interdependency among the flow variables.

This paper develops a Fortran code which is capable to construct the simplest LS eigenfunctions for desired symmetry and determine all permitted atomic LS spectral terms under a given orbital occupancy by implementing and extending the Schaefer and Harris method. Examples （in some cases the most complete set to date） of multiple spectroscopic terms of LS coupling of atomic states for both non-equivalent and equivalent electronic configurations are given. It also corrects a few observed errors from the recent literature.

While impressive direct geolocation accuracies better than 5.0 m cE90(90%of circular error)can be achieved from the last DigitalGlobe’s Very High Resolution(VHR)satellites(***-1 and WorldView-1/2/3/4),it is insufficient for many precise geodetic *** these sensors,the best horizontal geopositioning accuracies(around 0.55 m cE90)can be attained by using third-order 3D rational functions with vendor’s rational polynomial coefficients data refined by a zero-order polynomial adjustment obtained from a small number of very accurate ground control points(GcPs).However,these high-quality GcPs are not always *** this work,two different approaches for improving the initial direct geolocation accuracy of VHR satellite imagery are *** of them are based on the extraction of three-dimensional GcPs from freely available ancillary data at global coverage such as multi-temporal information of Google Earth and the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 30 m digital elevation *** application of these approaches on WorldView-2 and GeoEye-1 stereo pairs over two different study sites proved to improve the horizontal direct geolocation accuracy values around of 75%.
