In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data ***,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,semantic communication has attracted great attention as a new communication ***,for IoT devices,however,processing image information efficiently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of semantic *** the increase of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inference time in sensor devices continues to *** contrast,the Pulse coupled Neural Network(PcNN)has fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such as image segmentation,which lays the foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,the parameters of PcNN are determined by trial and error,which limits its *** overcome this limitation,an Improved Pulse coupled Neural Networks(IPcNN)model is proposed in this *** IPcNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input image and the dynamic properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of manual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPcNN on the gray images and natural images from the matlab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPcNN method achieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of image semantic information.

Two-stage aging treatment to accelerate aging kinetics without impairing strength in B4c/7A04Al composite

Aging treatments are the key process to obtain satisfactory strength for 7xxxAl alloys and their composites. However, traditional single-stage（SS） aging is time-consuming to reach a peak strength condition. In this study, an efficient 120℃ + 160℃ two-stage（TS） aging treatment was proposed on a B4c/7A04Al composite fabricated via powder metallurgy（PM） technology, which could acquire similar peak-aging strength but only took about 15% of the time compared to traditional 120℃ SS aging. The evolution of precipitation during the TS aging was investigated, as well as those of the 7A04Al alloys for comparison. In the second stage aging process, the higher aging temperature accelerated the nucleation of η′ phases inside the grains and thus increased the density of precipitates. Moreover, the short aging time limited the coarsening of precipitates and the broadening of precipitatefree zones. The above factors were beneficial for quickly obtaining satisfactory precipitation strengthening effects. The B4c/7A04Al composite exhibited slower aging kinetics than the 7A04Al alloy in the TS aging. Mg elements consumption by the chemical reaction between B impurities introduced by B4c particles and the Al matrix was considered to potentially retard the aging kinetics of the B4c/7A04Al composite. Nevertheless, the precipitation sequence was not affected.

Preparation of Kω-g-c_(3)N_(4) composite loaded on magnetic attapulgite and its degradation performance for malachite green

Visible-light-driven photocatalysis is a promising technology for the treatment of dye *** this work,a novel photocatalyst of Kω-g-c_(3)N_(4) loaded on magnetic attapulgite(ATP)(K-g-c_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4))with excellent visible light photocatalytic properties and stability were successfully prepared and *** removal efficiency of K-g-c_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4) for malachite green(MG)was studied,and the degradation mechanism was analyzed and *** was found that the K_(5)-g-c_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4) photocatalyst possessed excellent degradation efficiency of over 98.0%for the MG dye wastewater under optimal ***,the K_(5)-g-c_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4) materials possessed good recyclability with a removal rate over 82%after 4 *** visible light condition,the K_(5)-g-c_(3)N_(4)@ATP-Fe_(3)O_(4) photocatalyst produce radicals of·OH and O_(2)^(-)to degrade the MG dyes,which was supported by electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)and radical trapping *** addition,the Lc-MS analysis interpreted the degradation pathways and intermediates of MG in the *** findings in this work indicate that the prepared photocatalytic material has excellent degradation efficiency for MG and can be applied in dye wastewater treatment.

Over the past decade, graphitic carbon nitride(g-c_(3)N_(4)) has emerged as a universal photocatalyst toward various sustainable carbo-neutral technologies. Despite solar applications discrepancy, g-c_(3)N_(4) is still confronted with a general fatal issue of insufficient supply of thermodynamically active photocarriers due to its inferior solar harvesting ability and sluggish charge transfer dynamics. Fortunately, this could be significantly alleviated by the “all-in-one” defect engineering strategy, which enables a simultaneous amelioration of both textural uniqueness and intrinsic electronic band structures. To this end, we have summarized an unprecedently comprehensive discussion on defect controls including the vacancy/non-metallic dopant creation with optimized electronic band structure and electronic density, metallic doping with ultraactive coordinated environment(M–N_(x), M–c_(2)N_(2), M–O bonding), functional group grafting with optimized band structure, and promoted crystallinity with extended conjugation π system with weakened interlayered van der Waals interaction. Among them, the defect states induced by various defect types such as N vacancy, P/S/halogen dopants, and cyano group in boosting solar harvesting and accelerating photocarrier transfer have also been emphasized. More importantly, the shallow defect traps identified by femtosecond transient absorption spectra(fs-TAS) have also been highlighted. It is believed that this review would pave the way for future readers with a unique insight into a more precise defective g-c_(3)N_(4) “customization”, motivating more profound thinking and flourishing research outputs on g-c_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysis.

Al is considered as a promising lithium-ion battery(LIBs)anode materials owing to its high theoretical capacity and appropri-ate lithation/de-lithation ***,its inevitable volume expansion causes the electrode structure instability,leading to poor cyclic ***’s worse,the natural Al2O3 layer on commercial Al pellets is always existed as a robust insulating barrier for elec-trons,which brings the voltage dip and results in low reversible ***,this work synthesized core-shell Al@c-Sn pellets for LIBs by a plus-minus *** this proposal,the natural Al2O3 passivation layer is eliminated when annealing the pre-introduced Sncl2,meanwhile,polydopamine-derived carbon is introduced as dual functional shell to liberate the fresh Al core from re-oxidization and alle-viate the volume *** from the addition of c-Sn shell and the elimination of the Al2O3 passivation layer,the as-prepared Al@c-Sn pellet electrode exhibits little voltage dip and delivers a reversible capacity of 1018.7 mah·g^(-1) at 0.1 A·g^(-1) and 295.0 mah·g^(-1) at 2.0 A·g^(-1)(after 1000 cycles),***,its diffusion-controlled capacity is muchly improved compared to those of its counterparts,confirming the well-designed nanostructure contributes to the rapid Li-ion diffusion and further enhances the lithium storage activity.

Tuning mechanical and electrical performances of B_(4)c-TiB_(2)ceramics in a two-step spark plasma sintering process

B_(4)c–TiB_(2)is an advanced electrically conductive ceramic with excellent mechanical and electrical discharge machinable *** is challenging and rewarding to achieve highly conductive and hard B_(4)c–TiB_(2)composites at a minimum content of conductive TiB2 that has inferior hardness but double specific gravity of the B_(4)c matrix.A novel strategy was used to construct conductive networks in B_(4)c‒15 vol%TiB2 composite ceramics with B_(4)c,Tic,and amorphous B as raw materials by a two-step spark plasma sintering *** influences of particle size matching between B_(4)c and Tic on the conducting of the strategy and the microstructure were discussed based on the selective matrix grain growth *** mechanical and electrical properties were also systematically *** B_(4)c–15 vol%TiB2 composite ceramic prepared from 10.29µm B_(4)c and 0.05µm Tic powders exhibited a perfect three-dimensional interconnected conductive network with a maximum electrical conductivity of 4.25×10^(4)S/m,together with excellent mechanical properties including flexural strength,Vickers hardness,and fracture toughness of 691±58 MPa,30.30±0.61 GPa,and 5.75±0.32 MPa·m^(1/2),respectively,while the composite obtained from 3.12µm B_(4)c and 0.8µm Tic powders had the best mechanical properties including flexural strength,Vickers hardness,and fracture toughness of 827±35 MPa,32.01±0.51 GPa,and 6.45±0.22 MPa·m^(1/2),together with a decent electrical conductivity of 0.65×10^(4)S/m.

Fe-N_(x) sites coupled with core-shell FeS@c nanoparticles to boost the oxygen catalysis for rechargeable Zn-air batteries

The development of efficient single-atom catalysts(SAcs) for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)remains a formidable challenge,primarily due to the symmetric charge distribution of metal singleatom sites(M-N_(4)).To address such issue,herein,Fe-N_(x) sites coupled synergistic catalysts fabrication strategy is presented to break the uniform electronic distribution,thus enhancing the intrinsic catalytic ***,atomically dispersed Fe-N_(x) sites supported on N/S-doped mesoporous carbon(NSc)coupled with FeS@c core-shell nanoparticles(FAS-NSc@950) is synthesized by a facile hydrothermal reaction and subsequent *** to the presence of an in situ-grown conductive graphitic layer(shell),the FeS nanoparticles(core) effectively adjust the electronic structure of single-atom Fe sites and facilitate the ORR kinetics via short/long-range coupling ***,FAS-NSc@950displays a more positive half-wave potential(E_(1/2)) of 0.871 V with a significantly boosted ORR kinetics(Tafel slope=52.2 mV dec^(-1)),outpacing the commercial Pt/c(E_(1/2)=0.84 V and Tafel slope=54.6 mV dec^(-1)).As a bifunctional electrocatalyst,it displays a smaller bifunctional activity parameter(ΔE) of 0.673 V,surpassing the Pt/c-RuO_(2) combination(ΔE=0.724 V).Besides,the FAS-NSc@950-based zincair battery(ZAB) displays superior power density,specific capacity,and long-term cycling performance to the Pt/c-Ir/c-based *** work significantly contributes to the field by offering a promising strategy to enhance the catalytic activity of SAcs for ORR,with potential implications for energy conversion and storage technologies.
