Immediate implantation of ultrafine fiber slow-release system based on cell electrospinning to induce osteogenesis of mesenchymal stem cells

This study presents the development and evaluation of a poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-4-hydroxybutyrate)(P34HB)ultrafine fiber slow-release system for in vivo osteogenic induction of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(HUcMScs).Utilizing dual-nozzle and cell electrospinning techniques,the system encapsulates L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate magnesium(AsP),βB-glycerophosphate sodium and dexamethasone(DEX)within the'fbers,ensuring sustained osteogenic *** scaffold's morphology,characterization,hydrophilicity,mechanical properties and cellular behavior were *** subcutaneous implantation in rabbits was con-ducted to observe its ectopic osteogenic induction *** fabricated P34HB ultrafine fiber slow-release *** ization *** distribution of HUcMScs and inducing components within the scaffold,with no chemical reactions affecting the active *** vitro tests showcased a prolonged release of DEX and ASP,while biocompatibility assays highlighted the scaffold's suitability for cellular *** Red,type I collagen,and osteopontin(OPN)staining verifed the scaffold's potent osteogenic induction effect on ***,immediate implantation into New Zealand White rabbits led to significant new bone formation within 8 *** findings underscore the system's potential for immediate in vivo implantation without prior in vitro induction,marking a promising advancement in bone tissue engineering.

Wind disturbance compensated path-following control for fixed-wing UAVs in arbitrarily strong winds

Wind is the primary challenge for low-speed fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles to follow a predefined flight *** cope with various wind conditions,this paper proposes a wind disturbance compensated path following control strategy where the wind disturbance estimate is incorporated with the nominal guiding vector field to provide the desired airspeed direction for the *** the control input vector for the outer-loop kinematic subsystem needs to satisfy a magnitude constraint,a scaling mechanism is introduced to tune the proportions of the compensation and nominal ***,an optimization problem is formulated to pursue a maximum wind compensation in strong winds,which can be solved analytically to yield two scaling factors.A cascaded inner-loop tracking controller is also designed to fulfill the outer-loop wind disturbance compensated guiding vector ***-fidelity simulation results under sensor noises and realistic winds demonstrate that the proposed path following algorithm is less sensitive to sensor noises,achieves promising accuracy in normal winds,and mitigates the deviation from a desired path in wild winds.

Link Prediction Method Fusion with Local Structural entropy for Directed Network

Link prediction utilizes accessible network information to complement or predict the network *** is an important prerequisite for link prediction which means links more likely occurs between two similar nodes. Existing methods utilize the similarity of nodes but neglect of network structure. However the link direction leads to a far more complex structure and contains more information useful than the undirected networks. Most classic methods are difficult to depict the distribution of the network structure with incidental direction so the similarity characteristics of the network structure itself are lost. In this respect, a new method of local structure entropy is proposed to depict the directed structural distribution characteristics, which can be used to evaluate the degree of local structural similarity of nodes and then applied to link prediction methods. Experimental results on 8 real directed networks show that this method is effective for both area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUc)and ranking-score measures, and improved predictive capacity of the baseline methodology.

coupling Effect of cryogenic Freeze-Thaw cycles and chloride Ion Erosion Effect in Pre-cracked Reinforced concrete

chloride (cl−) ion erosion effects can seriously impact the safety and service life of marine liquefied natural gas(LNG) storage tanks and other polar offshore structures. This study investigates the impact of different low-temperaturecycles (20°c, –80°c, and −160°c) and concrete specimen crack widths (0, 0.3, and 0.6 mm) on the cl−ion diffusion performance through rapid erosion tests conducted on pre-cracked concrete. The results show thatthe minimum temperature and crack width of freeze-thaw cycles enhance the erosive effect of chloride ions. Thecl− ion concentration and growth rate increased with the increasing crack width. Based on the experimental modeland in accordance with Fick’s second law of diffusion, the cl− ion diffusion equation was modified by introducingcorrection factors in consideration of the freeze-thaw temperature, crack width, and their coupling *** experimental and fitting results obtained from this model can provide excellent reference for practical engineeringapplications.

The completeness of Accreting Neutron Star Binary candidates from the chinese Space Station Telescope

A neutron star(NS)has many extreme physical conditions,and one may obtain some important information about an NS via accreting neutron star binary(ANSB)*** upcoming chinese Space Station Telescope(cSST)provides an opportunity to search for a large sample of ANSB *** goal is to check the completeness of the potential ANSB samples from cSST *** this paper,we generate some ANSBs and normal binaries under the cSST photometric system by binary evolution and binary population synthesis method and use a machine learning method to train a classification *** the Precision(94.56%)of our machine learning model is as high as before study,the Recall is only about 63.29%.The Precision/Recall is mainly determined by the mass transfer rate between the NSs and their *** addition,we also find that the completeness of ANSB samples from cSST photometric data by the machine learning method also depends on the companion mass and the age of the *** candidates with a low initial mass companion star(0.1 M_(⊙)to 1 M_(⊙))have a relatively high Precision(94.94%)and high Recall(86.32%),whereas ANSB candidates with a higher initial mass companion star(1.1 M_(⊙)to 3 M_(⊙))have similar Precision(93.88%)and quite low Recall(42.67%).Our results indicate that although the machine learning method may obtain a relatively pure sample of ANSBs,a completeness correction is necessary for one to obtain a complete sample.

A unified pre-training and adaptation framework for combinatorial optimization on graphs

combinatorial optimization(cO)on graphs is a classic topic that has been extensively studied across many scientific and industrial ***,solving cO problems on graphs through learning methods has attracted great *** deep learning methods,e.g.,graph neural networks(GNNs),have been used to effectively assist the process of solving ***,current frameworks based on GNNs are mainly designed for certain cO problems,thereby failing to consider their transferable and generalizable abilities among different cOs on ***,simply using original graphs to model cOs only captures the direct correlations among objects,which does not consider the mathematical logicality and properties of *** this paper,we propose a unified pre-training and adaptation framework for cOs on graphs with the help of the maximum satisfiability(Max-SAT)*** first use Max-SAT to bridge different cOs on graphs since they can be converted to Max-SAT problems represented by standard formulas and clauses with logical *** we further design a pre-training and domain adaptation framework to extract the transferable and generalizable features so that different cOs can benefit from *** the pre-training stage,Max-SAT instances are generated to initialize the parameters of the *** the fine-tuning stage,instances from cO and Max-SAT problems are used for adaptation so that the transferable ability can be further *** experiments on several datasets show that features extracted by our framework exhibit superior transferability and Max-SAT can boost the ability to solve cOs on graphs.

An Imbalanced Data classification Method Based on Hybrid Resampling and Fine cost Sensitive Support Vector Machine

When building a classification model,the scenario where the samples of one class are significantly more than those of the other class is called data *** imbalance causes the trained classification model to be in favor of the majority class(usually defined as the negative class),which may do harm to the accuracy of the minority class(usually defined as the positive class),and then lead to poor overall performance of the model.A method called MSHR-FcSSVM for solving imbalanced data classification is proposed in this article,which is based on a new hybrid resampling approach(MSHR)and a new fine cost-sensitive support vector machine(cS-SVM)classifier(FcSSVM).The MSHR measures the separability of each negative sample through its Silhouette value calculated by Mahalanobis distance between samples,based on which,the so-called pseudo-negative samples are screened out to generate new positive samples(over-sampling step)through linear interpolation and are deleted finally(under-sampling step).This approach replaces pseudo-negative samples with generated new positive samples one by one to clear up the inter-class overlap on the borderline,without changing the overall scale of the *** FcSSVM is an improved version of the traditional *** considers influences of both the imbalance of sample number and the class distribution on classification simultaneously,and through finely tuning the class cost weights by using the efficient optimization algorithm based on the physical phenomenon of rime-ice(RIME)algorithm with cross-validation accuracy as the fitness function to accurately adjust the classification *** verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,a series of experiments are carried out based on 20 imbalanced datasets including both mildly and extremely imbalanced *** experimental results show that the MSHR-FcSSVM method performs better than the methods for comparison in most cases,and both the MSHR and the FcSSVM played significan

Molecular mechanism of Xuebijing in treating pyogenic liver abscess complicated with sepsis

BAcKGROUND:Xuebijing(XBJ)can alleviate the inflammatory response,improve organ function,and shorten the intensive care unit(IcU)stay in patients with pyogenic liver abscess(PLA)complicated with sepsis,but the molecular mechanisms have not been *** study aimed to explore the molecular mechanism of XBJ in treating PLA complicated with sepsis using a network pharmacology ***:The active ingredients and targets of XBJ were retrieved from the ETcM *** targets related to PLA and sepsis were retrieved from the Genecards,PharmGKB,DisGenet,Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man(OMIM),Therapeutic Targets Database(TTD),and DrugBank *** targets of PLA complicated with sepsis were mapped to the targets of XBJ to identify potential treatment ***-protein interaction networks were analyzed using the STRING *** treatment targets were imported into the Metascape platform for Gene Ontology(GO)functional enrichment and Kyoto encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment *** docking was performed to validate the interactions between active ingredients and core ***:XBJ was found to have 54 potential treatment targets for PLA complicated with ***-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)were identifi ed as core *** enrichment analysis revealed important pathways,including the interleukin-17(IL-17)signaling pathway,the TNF signaling pathway,the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)signaling pathway,and the Toll-like receptor(TLR)signaling *** docking experiments indicated stable binding between XBJ active ingredients and core ***:XBJ may exert therapeutic eff ects on PLA complicated with sepsis by modulating signaling pathways,such as the IL-17,TNF,NF-κB,and TLR pathways,and targeting IL-1β,IL-6,and TNF.
