Effect of biochar application on rice,wheat,and corn seedlings in hydroponic c.l.ure

In recent years,biochar has attracted considerable attention for soil quality improvement and carbon sequestration due to its unique physicochemic.l.***,the mechanism by which biochar application negatively affects the growth of crop seedlings has not been fully *** this study,a hydroponic experiment was conducted to evaluate the response of rice,wheat,and corn seedlings to biochar application(cK,0 g/l;Bc1,0.5 g/l;and Bc2,1.0 g/l).compared with the cK treatment,the Bc1 and Bc2 treatments decreased the fresh shoot and root weights of rice and corn seedlings(Pcant effect on wheat seedlings(P>0.05).For the contents of nutrient elements in seedlings,both Bc1 and Bc2 treatments hindered the roots from absorbing Fe and cu and increased the uptake of ca and *** with the cK treatment,the translocation factor(TF)values of ca,Mn,and Zn were significantly decreased especially in rice seedlings(35.3%-36.8%,68.7%-76.5%,and 29.8%-22.0%,respectively)under the Bc1 and Bc2 treatments,while only Mn was significantly decreased in wheat and corn seedlings(Plectron microscope(TEM)analysis of root cross-sections showed that nano-sized biochar particles(10~23 nm)were found in the root c.l.s under Bc2 treatment *** findings reveal that a large amount of biochar application can reduce nutrient absorption and translocation,and hinder rice,wheat,and corn seedlings,partic.l.rly rice seedling,in hydroponic system.

carrimycin(cA),sanctioned by china’s National Medic.l.Products Administration(NMPA)in 2019 for treating acute bronchitis and sinusitis,has recently been observed to exhibit multifaceted biologic.l.activities,encompassing anti-inflammatory,antiviral,and anti-tumor *** these applications,its efficacy in sepsis treatment remains *** study introduces a novel function of cA,demonstrating its capacity to mitigate sepsis induced by lipopolysaccharide(lPS)and cec.l.ligation and puncture(clP)in mice *** research employed in vitro assays,real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPcR),and RNA-seq analysis to establish that cA significantly reduces the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines,namely tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),interleukin 1 beta(Il-1β),and interleukin 6(Il-6),in response to lPS ***,Western blotting and immunofluorescence assays revealed that cA impedes Nuclear Factor Kappa B(NF-κB)activation in lPS-stimulated RAW264.7 *** these findings,in vivo experiments demonstrated that cA effectively alleviates lPS-and clP-triggered organ inflammation in c57Bl/6 *** insights were gained through 16S sequencing,highlighting cA’s pivotal role in enhancing gut microbiota diversity and modulating metabolic pathways,partic.l.rly by augmenting the production of short-chain fatty acids in mice subjected to ***,a comparative analysis revealed that cA’s anti-inflammatory efficacy surpasses that of equivalent doses of aspirin(ASP)and ***,these findings suggest that cA exhibits significant therapeutic potential in sepsis *** discovery provides a foundational theoretic.l.basis for the clinic.l.application of cA in sepsis management.

A coupled legendre-laguerre polynomial method with analytic.l.integration for the Rayleigh waves in a quasicrystal layered half-space with an imperfect interface

The laguerre polynomial method has been successfully used to investigate the dynamic responses of a half-space. However, it fails to obtain the correct stress at the interfaces in a layered half-space, especially when there are significant differences in material properties. Therefore, a coupled legendre-laguerre polynomial method with analytic.l.integration is proposed. The Rayleigh waves in a one-dimensional(1D) hexagonal quasicrystal(Qc) layered half-space with an imperfect interface are investigated. The correctness is validated by comparison with available results. Its computation efficiency is analyzed. The dispersion curves of the phase velocity, displacement distributions, and stress distributions are illustrated. The effects of the phonon-phason coupling and imperfect interface coefficients on the wave characteristics are investigated. Some novel findings reveal that the proposed method is highly efficient for addressing the Rayleigh waves in a Qc.l.yered half-space. It can save over 99% of the computation time. This method can be expanded to investigate waves in various layered half-spaces, including earth-layered media and surface acoustic wave(SAW) devices.

let M=S^(n)/Γand h be a nontrivial element of finite order p inπ_(1)(Μ),where the integers n,p≥2,Γis a finite abelian group which acts freely and isometric.l.y on the n-sphere and therefore M is diffeomorphic to a compact space *** this paper,we prove that there are infinitely many non-contractible closed geodesics of class[h]on the compact space form with c^(r)-generic Finsler metrics,where 4≤r≤∞.The conclusion also holds for cr-generic Riemannian metrics for 2≤r≤∞.The proof is based on the resonance identity of non-contractible closed geodesics on compact space forms.

An extended numeric.l.model of the first exothermic peak for three dimensional printed cement-based materials

The first exothermic peak of cement-based material occurs a few minutes after mixing,and the properties of three dimensional(3D)printed concrete,such as setting time,are very sensitive to *** this background,based on the classic.l.Park cement exothermic model of hydration,we propose and construct a numeric.l.model of the first exothermic peak,taking into account the proportions of c_(3)S,c_(3)A and quic.l.me in *** c.l.ulated parameters are c.l.brated by means of relevant published exothermic test *** is found that this developed model offers a good simulation of the first exothermic peak of hydration for c_(3)S and c_(3)A proportions from 0 to 100% of cement clinker and reflects the effect of quic.l.me content at 8%-10%.The unique value of this research is provision of an important computational tool for applications that are sensitive to the first exothermic peak of hydration,such as 3D printing.

High-resolution recognition of FOAM modes via an improved EfficientNet V2 based convolutional neural network

Vortex beam with fractional orbital angular momentum (FOAM) is the exc.l.ent candidate for improving the capacity of free-space optic.l.(FSO) communication system due to its infinite modes. Therefore, the recognition of FOAM modes with higher resolution is always of great concern. In this work, through an improved EfficientNetV2 based convolutional neural network (cNN), we experimentally achieve the implementation of the recognition of FOAM modes with a resolution as high as 0.001. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first time this high resolution has been achieved. Under the strong atmospheric turbulence (AT) (c_(n)^(2)=10^(-15)m^(-2/3)), the recognition accuracy of FOAM modes at 0.1 and 0.01 resolution with our model is up to 99.12% and 92.24% for a long transmission distance of 2000 m. Even for the resolution at 0.001, the recognition accuracy can still remain at 78.77%. This work provides an effective method for the recognition of FOAM modes, which may largely improve the channel capacity of the free-space optic.l.communication.
