Interleukin-10(IL-10)is the most potent anti-inflammatory cytokine in the body and plays an essential role in determining outcomes of many inflammatory *** metabolism is a critical determinant of immune cell function;however,it is currently unclear whether metabolic processes are specifically involved in IL-10 *** this study,we aimed to find the central metabolic molecule regulating IL-10 production of macrophages,which are the main producers of *** analysis identified that metabolic changes were predominantly enriched in kupffer cells at the early inflammatory phase of a mouse endotoxemia *** them,pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase(PDk)-dependent acute glycolysis was negatively involved in IL-10 *** or knockdown of PDk selectively increased macrophage IL-10 ***,PDk inhibition increased IL-10 production via profound phosphorylation of adenosine monophosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase alpha 1(AMPkα1)by restricting glucose uptake in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated ***α1 consequently activated p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase,c-Jun N-terminal kinase,and cyclic AMP-responsive element-binding protein to regulate IL-10 *** study uncovers a previously unknown regulatory mechanism of IL-10 in activated macrophages involving an immunometabolic function of PDk.

Response surface methodology was used to optimize the extraction conditions of polysaccharides from Undaria *** effects of three independent variables,extraction time,extraction temperature and ratio of water to raw material were investigated by a central composite *** experimental data were fitted to a second-order polynomial equation via multiple regression analysis and also examined with the appropriate statistical *** adjusted coefficient of determination（R^2Adj） for the model was *** optimum extraction yield of 30.78% was obtained when the extraction temperature was 95 °c,extraction time was 4.5 h,and the ratio of water to raw material was 35（mL/g）.Under these conditions,validation experiments were done and the mean extraction yield of polysaccharides was 30.79%,which was in good agreement with the predicted model value.

A new type of lead-free, formamidinium （FA）-based halide perovskites, FASnf2Br, are investigated as light-harvesting materials for low-temperature processed p-i-n heterojunction solar cells with different configurations. The FASnlaBr perovskite, with a band-gap of 1.68 eV, exhibits optimal photovoltaic performance after low-temperature annealing at 75 ~c. By using c60 as electron-transport layer, the device yields a hysteresis-less power conversion efficiency of 1.72%. The possible use of an inorganic MoO~ film as a new type of independent hole-transport layer for the present tin-based perovskite solar cells is also demonstrated.

considering the exponential growth of wireless devices with datastarving applications fused with artificial intelligence,the significance of wireless network scalability using distributed behavior and fairness among users is a crucial feature in guaranteeing reliable service to numerous users in the network *** model is described as nonlinear selfsustained phase oscillators spinning at varying intrinsic frequencies connected through the sine of their phase differences and displays a phase transition at a specific coupling strength,in which a mutual behavior is *** this work,we apply the kuramoto model to achieve a weighted fair resource allocation in a wireless network,where each user has different quality of service(QoS)*** the original kuramoto model is the synchronization model,we propose a new weighting parameter for representing requirement of each node resource and modify the kuramoto model to achieveweighted fair resource allocation for users with different QoS *** proposed modified kuramoto model allocates all users the resource based on their weight among contending nodes in a distributed *** analyze the convergence condition for the proposed model,and the results reveal that the proposed algorithm achieves aweighted fair resource allocation and with potentially high convergence speed compared to previous algorithm.

Let R be a *** this paper,we show that if R is one dimensional,then R is a Noetherian Warfield domain if and only if every maximal ideal of R is 2-generated and for every maximal ideal M of R,M is divisorial in the ring(M:M).We also prove that a Noetherian domain R is a Noetherian Warfield domain if and only if for every maximal ideal M of R,M^(2) can be generated by two ***,we give a sufficient condition under which all ideals of R are strongly Gorenstein projective.

Therapeutic options are quite limited in clinics for the successful repair of infected/degenerated *** the prevalent treatment is the complete removal of the whole infected tissue,this leads to a loss of tissue function and serious *** the dental pulp infection,as one of the most common dental problems,was selected as a clinically relevant case to regenerate using a multifunctional nanotherapeutic *** this,a mesoporous bioactive glass nano-delivery system incorporating silicate,calcium,and copper as well as loading epidermal growth factor(EGF)was designed to provide antibacterial/pro-angiogenic and osteo/odontogenic multiple therapeutic ***-functionalized cu-doped bioactive glass nanospheres(cu-BGn)were prepared to be 50–60 nm in size,mesoporous,positive-charged and *** cu-BGn could release bioactive ions(copper,calcium and silicate ions)with therapeutically-effective *** cu-BGn treatment to human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEc)led to significant enhancement of the migration,tubule formation and expression of angiogenic gene(*** endothelial growth factor,VEGF).Furthermore,the EGF-loaded cu-BGn(EGF@cu-BGn)showed pro-angiogenic effects with antibacterial activity against ***,a pathogen commonly involved in the pulp *** note,under the co-culture condition of HUVEc with ***,the secretion of VEGF was *** addition,the osteo/odontogenic stimulation of the EGF@cu-BGn was evidenced with human dental pulp stem *** local administration of the EGF@cu-BGn in a rat molar tooth defect infected with *** revealed significant in vivo regenerative capacity,highlighting the nanotherapeutic uses of the multifunctional nanoparticles for regenerating infected/damaged hard tissues.

There are no standard guidelines to follow when a patient with chronic hepatitis B infection becomes pregnant or desires pregnancy. Topics to consider include which patients to treat, when to start treatment, what treatment to use and when to stop treatment. Without any prophylaxis or antiviral therapy, a hepatitis B surface antigen and E antigen positive mother has up to a 90% likelihood of vertical transmission of hepatitis B virus(HBV) to child. Standard of care in the United States to prevent perinatal transmission consists of administration of hepatitis B immune globulin and HBV vaccination to the infant. The two strongest risk factors of mother to child transmission(MTcT) of HBV infection despite immunoprophylaxis are high maternal HBV viral load and high activity of viral replication. The goal is to prevent transmission of HBV at birth by decreasing viral load and/or decreasing activity of the virus. Although it is still somewhat controversial, most evidence shows that starting antivirals in the third trimester is effective in decreasing MTcT without affecting fetal development. There is a growing body of literature supporting the safety and efficacy of antiviral therapies to reduce MTcT of hepatitis B. There are no formal recommendations regarding which agent to choose. Tenofovir, lamivudine and telbivudine have all been proven efficacious in decreasing viral load at birth without known birth defects, but final decision of which antiviral medication to use will have to be determined by physician and patient. The antivirals may be discontinued immediately if patient is breastfeeding, or within first four weeks if infant is being formula fed.
