The quantum random walk is a possible approach to construct new quantum search algorithms. It has been shown by Shenvi et al. [Phys. Rev. A 67（2003）52307] that a kind of algorithm can perform an oracle search on a database of N items with O（√N） calling to the oracle, yielding a speedup similar to other quantum search algorithms. We study the effect of white or Gaussian noise on this algorithm. The algorithm loses efficiency when noise is added. We also show that noise on the target state plays a more important role than that on other states. Finally we compare the effects of similar types of noise in the quantum random walk search algorithm and Grover＇s search algorithm.

Practices of Ic package reliability testing are reviewed briefly, and the application of transient thermal analysis is examined in great depth. For the design of light sources based on light emitting diode （LeD） efficient and accurate reliability testing is required to realize the potential lifetimes of 105 h. Transient thermal analysis is a standard method to determine the transient thermal impedance of semiconductor devices, e.g. power electronics and LeDs. The temperature of the semiconductor junctions is assessed by time-resolved measurement of their forward voltage （Vf）. The thermal path in the Ic package is resolved by the transient technique in the time domain. This enables analyzing the structural integrity of the semiconductor package. However, to evaluate thermal resistance, one must also measure the dissipated energy of the device （i.e., the thermal load） and the k-factor. This is time consuming, and measurement errors reduce the accuracy. To overcome these limitations, an innovative approach, the relative thermal resistance method, was developed to reduce the measurement effort, increase accuracy and enable automatic data evaluation. This new way of evaluating data simplifies the thermal transient analysis by eliminating measurement of the k-factor and thermal load, i.e. measurement of the lumen flux for LeDs, by normalizing the transient Vf data. This is especially advantageous for reliability testing where changes in the thermal path, like cracks and delaminations, can be determined without measuring the k-factor and thermal load. Different failure modes can be separated in the time domain. The sensitivity of the method is demonstrated by its application to high- power white InGaN LeDs. For detailed analysis and identification of the failure mode of the LeD packages, the transient signals are simulated by time-resolved finite element （Fe） simulations. Polymeric visual decoys of beetle of an invasive species called the emerald Ash Borer （eAB）, Agrilus planipennis, are highly efficacious in luring and trapping eAB males. Although industrially scalable, the bioreplication process to t）tbricate these decoys involves several operational steps. In a simpler bioreplication process devised by us, a multi-cavity negative die of nickel is made from an array of several eAB females. This die is used to fabricate multiple decoys simultaneously by casting and ihermal curing of poly（dimethyl siloxane）. Finally, the decoys are sprayed by first a black paint and then a metallic green paint. The new bioreplication process has considerably fewer operational steps than its predecessor and can be adopted by industry.

地表温度史与石油的形成

已知石油储集层所处的深度可达一万米,其年龄可达七亿年.由于温度在石油形成过程中起着重要作用,因此,要对该范围内的温度史进行分析.根据地质记录,人们已测算出了现代及距今25亿年的平均地表温度.将所测数据代入牛顿冷却定律,计算出地表/空间系统的热传递常数值为2.63×10-11/年.由此又推算出,地表平均冷却速率大约为每十亿年7℃.已绘制出高、中、低纬度区各地质时期中的平均地表温度分布图.这三个纬度区的初始地表温度为13.6°、41.6°和59.6℃.为验证这些数据的准确性,对冷却曲线进行了两项测试.第一,运用地幔水蒸汽排出的速率常数和clausius-clapeyron公式计算各地质时期中地表水的聚集及其平均温度,计算结果与含水沉积物、冰川作用及生物发展史的地质资料相一致.第二,所算得的地表热量特征值同已公布的地幔地热数据比较,误差不超过2%.从用以表示地壳平均地热梯度的地表平均冷却速率来看,七亿年前埋深一万米的石油储层温度变化小于10℃.较年轻或较浅（或又年轻又浅）层的储层温度变化值可能更小一些.这些结果表明,储层年龄对于石油形成过程的重要意义在于:储层越老,使其内部条件发生变化的埋深或岩浆活动等地质变化的机会也就越多.

Tourism can form an important component of a nation＇s GDP, and Vietnam is among the most visited countries in Southeast Asia. Most studies on personal exposure focus on the general population, or occupational cohorts with exposure to specific pollutants. However, short-term exposure to air pollutants while visiting regions with high levels of air pollution can lead to acute health effects. A personal exposure study was conducted across three cities in Vietnam to estimate exposure to particulate matter （PM2.5） and black carbon for tourists. Measurements were conducted during the wet season in 2014 in Ho chi Minh city, Da Lat and Nha Trang using portable instrumentation. Average 24-hr PM2.5 and Bc exposures were estimated as 18.9 ± 9.24 and 3.41 ± 1.33 μg/m3 and among the three cities, Ho chi Minh was found to have the highest PM2.5 concentrations. environmental tobacco smoke, commuting and street food stands were found to contribute to highest levels of exposure to PM2.s and Bc across all cities.

This work aims to understand the inefficiency of nanoprecipitates to strengthen a weakly textured,polycrystalline Mg-Gd-Y-Zr *** experimental micromechanical approach consisting on micropillar compression combined with analytical electron microscopy is put in place to analyze the effect of nanoprecipitation on soft and hard basal slip and twinning in individual grains with different *** study shows that,in grains that are favorably oriented for basal slip(“soft”basal slip),aging leads to extreme localization due to the ability of basal dislocations to shear the nanoparticles,resulting overall in the softening of basal ***,in grains in which the c-axis is almost perpendicular to the compression axis,prismatic slip dominates deformation in the solid solution state and nanoprecipitation favors twinning due to the concomitant lattice solute ***,in grains oriented with their c-axis making an angle of about 5-7°with respect to the compression axis,which deform mainly by“hard”basal slip,precipitation leads to the strengthening of basal systems in the absence of obvious *** work reveals that the poor hardening response of the polycrystalline alloy is related to the capability of basal dislocations to shear the nanoparticles,in the absence of Orowan looping events,and to the associated basal slip localization.

computational catalysis is playing an increasingly significant role in the design of catalysts across a wide range of applications.A common task for many computational methods is the need to accurately compute the adsorption energy for an adsorbate and a catalyst surface of ***,the identification of low-energy adsorbate-surface configurations relies on heuristic methods and researcher *** the desire to perform high-throughput screening increases,it becomes challenging to use heuristics and intuition *** this paper,we demonstrate machine learning potentials can be leveraged to identify low-energy adsorbate-surface configurations more accurately and *** algorithm provides a spectrum of trade-offs between accuracy and efficiency,with one balanced option finding the lowest energy configuration 87.36%of the time,while achieving a~2000×speedup in *** standardize benchmarking,we introduce the Open catalyst Dense dataset containing nearly 1000 diverse surfaces and~100,000 unique configurations.

Anostraca are known by their ability for long-distance dispersal,but the existence in several species of deep,geographically structured mtDNA lineages suggests their populations are subjected to allopatric differentiation,isolation,and prevalence of local scale *** stagnalis is one of the most widespread species of Anostraca and previous studies revealed an unclear geographical pattern of mtDNA genetic ***,we analyze populations from the Iberian and Italian Peninsulas,central europe,and Scandinavia,with the aim to characterize the patterns of genetic diversity in a spatio-temporal framework using mtDNA and nuclear markers to test gene flow among close *** these aims we built a time-calibrated phylogeny and carried out Bayesian phylogeographic analyses using a continuous diffusion *** results indicated that *** presents a deeply structured genetic diversity,including 7 ancient lineages,some of them even predating the *** Iberian Peninsula harbors high diversity of lineages,with strong isolation and recent absence of gene flow between *** at local scale seems to be the prevailing dispersal mode of ***,which exhibits a pattern of isolation-bydistance in the Iberian *** remark the vulnerability of most of these lineages,given the limited known geographic distribution of some of them,and the high risk of losing important evolutionary potential for the species.
