Topological materials, which feature robust surface and/or edge states, have now been a research focus in condensed maTher physics. They represent a new class of materials exhibiting nontrivial topological phases,and provide a platform for exploring exotic transport phenome.a, such as the quantum anomalous Hall effect and the quantum spin Hall effect. Recently, magnetic topological materials have attracted considerable interests due to the possibility to study the interplay between topological and magnetic *** particular, the quantum anomalous Hall and axion insulator phases can be realized in topological insulators with magnetic order. MnBi2Te4, as the first intrinsic antiferromagnetic topological insulator discovered, allows the examination of existing theoretical predictions; it has been extensively studied, and many new discoveries have been made. Here we review the progress made on MnBi2Te4from both experime.tal and theoretical aspects. The bulk crystal and magnetic structures are surveyed first, followed by a review of theoretical calculations and experime.tal probes on the band structure and surface states, and a discussion of various exotic phases that can be realized in MnBi2Te4. The properties of MnBi2Te4thin films and the corresponding transport studies are then reviewed, with an emphasis on the edge state transport. Possible future research directions in this field are also discussed.

We study embeddings between generalised Triebel-Lizorkin-Morrey spaces εφ,p,qs(Rd) and within the scales of further generalised Morrey smoothness spaces like Nφ,p,qs(Rd),Bp,qs,φ(Rd) and Fp,qs,φ(Rd).The latter have been investigated in a recent paper by the first two authors(2023),while the embeddings of the scale Nφ,p,qs(Rd) were mainly obtained in a paper of the first and last two authors(2022).Now we concentrate on the characterisation of the spaces εφ,p,qs(Rd).Our approach requires a wavelet characterisation of those spaces which we establish for the system of daubechies’ *** we prove necessary and sufficient conditions for the embedding εφ1,p1,q1s1(Rd)→εφ2,p2,q2s2(Rd).We can also provide some.almost final answer to the question when εφ,p,qs(Rd) is embedded into c(Rd),compleme.ting our recent findings in case of Nφ,p,qs(Rd).

Based on 2022 and 2023 hydrome.ric.d.ta and satellite images (Sentinel 2022, SPOT 2010), this study aims to present the Nokoué Lake and its channels’ re-cent hydromorphological characteristics. Integrating flow, tributary morphology, and topography data determined specific power values along the axes studied. The values obtained range from 2.69 to 12.92 W/m2 for Ouémé River and 2.46 to 10.99 W/m2 for Sô River. The resulting water erosion on banks and bottoms is of linear, areolar, or gully and claw types. Lake bathyme.ry varies from -0.5 to -2.6 m (low flow period) and -1 to -4 m;in the Ouémé, Sô, and Totchè rivers, it varies from -5 m to -7 m, reaching -10 m at the cotonou channel entrance (flood period). Bathyme.ric profiles reveal varied “U”, “V” and “Interme.iate” bottom morphologies, influenc.d.by erosion/sedime.tation processes and human activities. The flow facies identified are lentic in the northern tributaries and lotic in the cotonou and Totchè canals. Spatial analysis identified nine (09) thematic classes. In 2022, the surface area of the water body has increased from 274 km2 at low water to 280 km2 at high water, whereas in 2010 (a recent year of exceptional flooding), the surface area was 270 km2 at low water and 277 km2 at high water. Significant changes in land use are observed between 2010 and 2022. The floodplain area decreased slightly, from 421 km2 in 2010 (year of exceptional flooding) to 419 km2 in 2022. The evolution of land use shows a progressive expansion of the urban environme.t to the detrime.t of the natural environme.t. In the me.ium to long term, this trend could threaten the hydromorphological balance and even the existence of this important lagoon ecosystem.

Introduction: In côte d’Ivoire, there is a scarcity of data on children’s purulent pleurisies. Objective: This study aims to eluc.d.te the epidemiological, diagnostic, therapeutic, and evolutionary facets of non-tuberculous purulent pleurisies in pediatric patients. me.hods: A retrospective analysis was conducted using the me.ical records of children aged one month to fifteen years with purulent pleurisies at Bouaké University Hospital center from January 2017 to december 2021. Results: The study identified 124 cases of purulent pleurisies, constituting 18% of lower respiratory tract infections and 0.8% of all hospitalizations. The majority of these cases (69%) were in children between 1 and 24 months of age. Prominent symptoms included dyspnea (85.5%), O2 saturation below 95% in room air (76.6%), respiratory distress (68.5%), cutaneous-mucosal pallor (63.7%), and fever (43.5%). Radiological findings predominantly showed right-sided pleurisy (62.1%). The pleurisy was often extensive (78.2%), accompanied by pneumothorax (37.1%), alveolo-interstitial opacities (8.1% of cases), and abscess formations (1.6%). Pleural fluid cultures were positive in 46.9% of cases, with Staphylococcus aureus (75%, me.hi-S) identified among 32 bacteria. Initial antibiotic treatme.t was empirical, favoring oxacillin (53.2%) or amoxicillin-clavulanic ac.d.(53.2%) in dual (42%) or triple therapy (33%) with gentamicin (64.1%) and/or me.ronidazole (21.8%). Treatme.ts also included pleural drainage (68.5%) or repeated evacuation punctures (33.1%), and blood transfusion (39%). The mortality rate was 18.8%. conclusion: Non-tuberculous purulent pleurisy remains a significant concern in pediatric hospitalizations at the cHU of Bouaké, marked by high mortality rates.

crystal structure and luminescence dynamics of highly pure LiM(PO_(3))_(3):eu^(3+)(M=Sr,ca) red phosphors for white light emitting diodes

Highly pure red phosphors LiM(PO_(3))_(3):eu^(3+)(M=Sr,ca) doped with eu^(3+)(1 mol%) were synthesized via solution combustion me.hod and their crystal structure and luminescence dynamics were studied to explore its suitability in white light emitting *** Rietveld refineme.t analysis of the powder Xray diffraction patterns reveals that the phosphors belong to the pure triclinic phase of LiSr(PO_(3))_(3) and Lica(PO_(3)) with space group P-1(2).The scanning electron microscopy images showed the agglome.ated *** photoluminescence emission spectra under 393 nm show an orange band at 594 nm and a red band at 613 nm ascribed to ^(5)d_(0)→^(7)F_(1).^(5)d_(0)→^(7)F_(2) transitions of eu^(3+)ion in both the ***,the spectroscopic properties such as luminescence behaviour,and Stark splitting were used to examine the symme.ry of eu^(3+)ions in LiM(PO_(3))_(3):es^(3+)(M=Sr,ca) phosphors in terms of distortion induc.d.upon *** Stark splitting shows that the actual site symme.ry for eu^(3+)ion was estimated to be d_(2) type for both *** photome.ric properties of Lica(PO_(3))_(3):eu^(3+)such as commission International de l'eclairage coordinates(x=0.64,y=0.36) near to the standard one(red),high color purity(95%) and higher brightness reveal that the phosphor has the capability of acting as a red component in n-UV white light emitting diodes.

The occurrence of pharmaceuticals in water bodies and drinking water poses risks for the envi-ronme.t and human health,thus it is necessary to study me.hodologies that allow the efficient removal of these *** this work,corn cob-derived biochar was obtained by Zncl_(2)-activation,and subsequent carbonization at 700℃.The effect of contact time.temperature,pH,and initial concentration on the adsorption capacity of acetaminophen(Ace)and amoxicillin(AMX)was determined through batch *** addition,the kinetics,isotherms,and ther-modynamics parame.ers were *** activated biochar exhibited a maximum adsorp-tion capacity of 332.08 mg/g for Ace and 175.86 mg/g for *** adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm of Ace corresponded to the pseudo-second order and Langmuir model,***,pseudo-first-order kinetics and the Freundlich isotherm model were well-fitted to AMX *** Ace and AMX co-adsorption had a synergistic effect on AMX but an antagonistic effect on Ace removal,achieving a maximum adsorption capacity of 193.51 and 184.58 mg/g,*** the other hand,fixed-bed column experime.ts showed that the adsorption capacity depends on the influent concentration,and the breakthrough curve fits the Thomas and Yoon-Nelson *** me.hanism adsorption studies showed that surface inter-actions(hydrogen bonding formation and n-𝜋interactions)are the main driving forces for the adsorption process,and pore filling is the rate-limiting *** this way,the prepared biochar exhibits a high potential for the adsorption of pharmaceutical compounds from water.

Uncovering Microstructure-Property Relationship in Ni-Alloyed Fe-Mn-Al-c Low-density Steel Treated by Hot-Rolling and Air-cooling Process

This paper focuses on the relationship between the microstructure and tensile properties of Fe-Mn-Al-c low-density high-strength steel processes by hot-rolling and air-cooling process. The microstructure analysis reveals that the combination of hot-rolling and air-cooling results in the formation of heterogeneous structures comprising different-sized γ and B_(2) phases in the low-density steel with the addition of nickel (Ni). The addition of Ni promotes the formation of the B_(2) phase and induces the pinning of B_(2) phase particles at the γ grain boundaries. This pinning effect effectively hinders the growth of the γ grains, leading to grain refineme.t. The tensile test results demonstrate that LdS-5Ni (low-density steel, LdS) exhibits excellent high strength and ductility combination, e.g., a tensile strength of 1535 MPa, yield strength of 1482 MPa, and elongation of 23.3%. These remarkable me.hanical properties are primarily attributed to the combined strengthening contributions of grain refineme.t and duplex nano-sized second-phase precipitation hardening.

Analysis of switching conditions of chalcogenide alloys during crystallization

To understand the principle and limitation of chalcogenide alloy ge2Sb2Te5 （gST） in solid-state me.ory devices during crystallization, it was necessary to develop a physically realistic model that could reflect the electrical and thermal properties of these me.ia. A novel comprehensive nume.ical model has been developed for simulating these me.ory devices, which describes the electrical and thermal behavior using the solution of the nonlinear, time.dependent electrical and heat conduction equation. The finite-difference-time.domain technique was adopted to compute the electrical field and heat distribution in the device. Several contributing factors that affect the crystallization switching process such as the geome.ry of the gST layer, temperature and electric field dependency of the electrical conductivity have been discussed. The results of the simulations were then used to provide critical guidelines for fabrication and optimization of the device performance.
