Optimized cognitive Learning Model for Energy Efficient Fog-BAN-IoT Networks

In Internet of Things (IoT), large amount of data are processed andcommunicated through different network technologies. Wireless Body Area Networks (WBAN) plays pivotal role in the health care domain with an integration ofIoT and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The amalgamation of above mentioned toolshas taken the new peak in terms of diagnosis and treatment process especially inthe pandemic period. But the real challenges such as low latency, energy consumption high throughput still remains in the dark side of the research. This paperproposes a novel optimized cognitive learning based BAN model based on FogIoT technology as a real-time health monitoring systems with the increased network-life time. Energy and latency aware features of BAN have been extractedand used to train the proposed fog based learning algorithm to achieve low energyconsumption and low-latency scheduling algorithm. To test the proposed network,Fog-IoT-BAN test bed has been developed with the battery driven MIcOTTboards interfaced with the health care sensors using Micro Python *** extensive experimentation is carried out using the above test beds and variousparameters such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1score and specificity has beencalculated along with Qos (quality of service) parameters such as latency, energyand throughput. To prove the superiority of the proposed framework, the performance of the proposed learning based framework has been compared with theother state-of-art classical learning frameworks and other existing Fog-BAN networks such as WORN, DARE, L-No-DEAF networks. Results proves the proposed framework has outperformed the other classical learning models in termsof accuracy and high False Alarm Rate (FAR), energy efficiency and latency.

The nodes in the sensor network have a wide range of uses,particularly on under-sea links that are skilled for detecting,handling as well as *** underwater wireless sensor networks support collecting pollution data,mine survey,oceanographic information collection,aided navigation,strategic surveillance,and collection of ocean samples using detectors that are submerged ***,congestion routing,and prioritizing the traffic is the major issue in an underwater sensor *** scheme differentiates the different types of traffic and gives every type of traffic its requirements which is considered regarding network *** of localization error using the proposed angle-based forwarding scheme is explained in this *** choose the shortest path to the destination using the fitness function which is calculated based on fault ratio,dispatching of packets,power,and distance among the *** work contemplates congestion conscious forwarding using hard stage and soft stage schemes which reduce the congestion by monitoring the status of the energy and buffer of the nodes and controlling the *** study with the use of the ns3 simulator demonstrated that a given algorithm accomplishes superior performance for loss of packet,delay of latency,and power utilization than the existing algorithms.

Mechanical properties of microcrystalline branching selenite gypsum samples and influence of constituting factors

The high sedimentological variability of gypsum rocks has the effect that a univocal characterization of this material is not easy to establish. This is particularly true from the geomechanical point of view: when the mechanical properties of gypsum rocks are requested, it is therefore necessary to undertake detailed characterization analyses. common facies of gypsum was observed in the Upper Miocene evaporitic succession(Messinian salinity crisis) within the whole Mediterranean Basin. In this work, mechanical tests were conducted on a site-specific facies, represented by the microcrystalline branching selenite. The tested samples came from the Monferrato area(northwestern Italy). Uniaxial compressive strength(Ucs)tests were performed in order to obtain reference mechanical parameters. More rapid and economic point load test(PLT) and ultrasonic pulse velocity(UPV) measurements were additionally performed to verify their applicability as complementary/alternative methods for site characterization. Rock-type specific PLT-Ucs and UPV-Ucs relationships were established. A wide dispersion of the mechanical parameters was observed due to the heterogeneities of the studied material. consequently, compositional, textural and microstructural observations on selected samples were performed. Two main material classes were recognized based on average grain size and total gypsum content, underlining the significant influence of the grain sorting on the measured mechanical properties.

co-evolution of nuclear rings,bars and the central intensity ratio of their host galaxies

Using a sample of 13 early-type spiral galaxies hosting nuclear rings,we report remarkable correlations between the properties of the nuclear rings and the central intensity ratio(cIR) of their host *** cIR,a function of intensity of light within the central 1.5 and 3 arcsec region,is found to be a vital parameter in galaxy evolution,as it shares strong correlations with many structural and dynamical properties of early-type galaxies,including mass of the central supermassive black hole(sMBH).We use archival HsT images for aperture photometry at the centre of the galaxy image to compute the *** observe that the relative sizes of nuclear rings and ring cluster surface densities strongly correlate with the *** correlations suggest reduced star formation in the centres of galaxies hosting small and dense nuclear *** scenario appears to be a consequence of strong bars as advocated by the significant connection observed between the cIR and bar *** addition,we observe that the cIR is closely related with the integrated properties of the stellar population in the nuclear rings,associating the rings hosting older and less massive star clusters with low values of ***,the cIR can serve as a crucial parameter in unfolding the coupled evolution of bars and rings as it is intimately connected with both their properties.

star-forming processes strongly influence the IsM ***,many high-quality databases are available at millimeter *** them,it is possible to carry out studies that review and deepen previous *** these studies involve large samples of sources,it is preferred to use direct tools to study the molecular *** the aim of testing these tools such as the use of the HcN/HNc ratio as a thermometer,and the use of H^(13)cO^(+),Hc_(3)N,N_(2)H^(+) and c_(2)H as "chemical clocks," we present a molecular line study toward 55 sources representing massive young stellar objects at different evolutionary stages:infrared dark clouds(IRDcs),highmass protostellar objects(HMPOs),hot molecular cores(HMcs) and ultracompact H II *** found that the use of the HcN/HNc ratio as a universal thermometer in the IsM should be taken with care because the HcN optical depth is a big issue that can affect the ***,this tool should be utilized only after a careful analysis of the HcN spectrum,checking that no line,neither the main nor the hyperfine ones,presents absorption *** point out that the analysis of the emission of H^(13)cO^(+),Hc_(3)N,N_(2)H^(+) and c_(2)H could be useful to trace and distinguish regions among IRDcs,HMPOs and *** molecular line widths of these four species increase from the IRDc to the HMc stage,which can be a consequence of the gas dynamics related to the starforming processes taking place in the molecular *** results not only contribute with more statistics,acting as a probe of such chemical tools,useful to obtain information in large samples of sources,but also complement previous works through the analysis of other types of sources.

Electro-osmotic flow of a second-grade fluid in a porous microchannel subject to an Ac electric field

studies on electro-osmotic flows of various types of fluids in microchannel are of great importance owing to their multifold applications in the transport of liquids, particularly when the ionized liquid flows with respect to a charged surface in the presence of an external electric field. In the case of viscoelastic fluids, the volumetric flow rate differs significantly from that of Newtonian fluids, even when the flow takes place under the same pressure gradient and the same electric field. With this end in view, this paper is devoted to a study concerning the flow pattern of an electro-osmotic flow in a porous microchannel, which is under the action of an alternating electric field. The influence of various rheological and electro-osmotic parameters, e.g., the Reynolds number, Debye-Huckel parameter, shape factor and fluid viscoelasticity on the kinematics of the fluid, has been investigated for a secondgrade viscoelastic fluid. The problem is first treated by using analytical methods, but the quantitative estimates are obtained numerically with the help of the software MATHEMATIcA. The results presented here are applicable to the cases where the channel height is much greater than the thickness of the electrical double layer comprising the stern and diffuse layers. The study reveals that a larger value of the Debye-Huckel parameter creates sharper profile near the wall and also that the velocity of electro-osmotic flow increases as the permeability of the porous microchannel is enhanced. The study further shows that the electro-osmotic flow dominates at lower values of Reynolds number. The results presented here will be quite useful to validate the observations of experimental investigations on the characteristics of electro-osmotic flows and also the results of complex numerical models that are necessary to deal with more realistic situations, where electro-osmotic flows come into the picture, as in blood flow in the micro-circulatory system subject to an elect

New generation sequencing systems are changing how molecular biology is practiced. The widely promoted $1000 genome will be a reality with attendant changes for healthcare, including personalized medicine. More broadly the genomes of many new organisms with large samplings from populations will be commonplace. What is less appreciated is the explosive demands on computation, both for cPU cycles and storage as well as the need for new computational methods. In this article we will survey some of these developments and demands.

Manufacturing industries are facing challenges in the implementation of agile manufacturing in their products and processes. Agility is widely accepted as a new competitive concept in the manufacturing sector in fulfilling varying customer demand. Thus, evaluation of agile manufacturing in industries has become a necessity. The success of an organisation depends on its ability to manage finding the critical success factors and give them special and continued attention in order to bring about high performance. This paper proposes a set of critical success factors （csFs） for evaluating agile manufacturing considered appropriate for the manufacturing sector. The analytical hierarchy process （AHP） method is applied for prioritizing the success factors, by summarizing the opinions of experts. It is believed that the proposed csFs enable and assist manufacturing industries to achieve a higher performance in agile manufacturing so as to increase competitiveness.

synthesis of Highly ordered Large size Mesoporous silica and Effect of stabilization as Enzyme supports in Organic solvent

FsM 16, McM 41 and sBA 15 types of hexagonal mesoporous silica with a highly ordered 2 dimensional structure were synthesized by using different silicon sources and surfactants. In the 2 dimensional silicate framework, pore size can be uniformly controlled by the combined use of the surfactants having different alkyl chain lengths and the swelling agents(triisopropyl benzene). The pore diameter of FsM 16 and McM 41 can be expanded to be 10 nm, sBA 15 to be 15 nm. The crystal regularity was decreased with the increase of the pore diameter. In FsM 16 derived from kanemite(silicon source) and McM 41 from water glass, their anionic characteristics on the pore wall may be stronger than those of sBA 15 derived from oligomeric tetramethoxysilane(TMOs). We have successfully used FsM 16 and McM 41 to immobilize the enzyme having cationic residues below isoelectric point. The level of adsorption of enzymes in FsM 16 and McM 41 was relatively high, but was low in sBA 15 support. The mechanism of enzyme to be adsorbed in mesoporous silica was suggested to be the ionic interactions. In aqueous solutions, horseradish peroxidase(HTP) was immobilized in FsM 16 with 8.9 nm mesopores and the highest loading amount(183 mg/mg FsM) was obtained, but for the FsM 16 of pore diameter 30 nm only an amount of 28 mg/mg FsM was obtained. The catalytic activity in the organic solvent was high when HRP was immobilized in FsM 16 and McM 41, but it was low in case of sBA 15.

On the Variability and correlation of surface Ozone and carbon Monoxide Observed in Hong Kong Using Trajectory and Regression Analyses

This paper investigates, the variability and correlation of surface ozone (Os) and carbon monoxide (cO) observed at cape D'Aguilar in Hong Kong from 1 January 1994 to 31 December 1995. statistical analysis shows that the average O3 and cO mixing ratios during the two years are 32±17ppbv and 305±191 ppbv, respectively. The O3/cO ratio ranges from 0.05 to 0.6 ppbv/ppbv with its frequency peaking at 0.15. The raw dataset is divided into six groups using backward trajectory and cluster analyses. For data assigned to the same trajectory type, three groups are further sorted out based on cO and NOX mixing ratios. The correlation coefficients and slopes of O3/cO for the 18 groups are calculated using linear regression analysis. Finally, five kinds of air masses with different chemical features are identified: continental background (cB), marine background (MB), regional polluted continental (RPc), perturbed marine (P*M), and local polluted (LP) air masses. Further studies indicate that O3 and cO in the continental and marine background air masses (cB and MB) are positively correlated for the reason that they are well mixed over the long range transport before arriving at the site. The negative correlation between O3 and cO in air mass LP is believed to be associated with heavy anthropogenic influence, which results from the enhancement by local sources as indicated by high cO and NOx and depletion of O3 when mixed with fresh emissions. The positive correlation in the perturbed marine air mass P*M favors the low photochemical production of O3. The negative correlation found in the regional polluted continental air mass RPc is different from the observations at Oki Island in Japan due to the more complex O3 chemistry at cape D'Aguilar.
