Piezoelectric materials have advantages of fine-tuning photocatalytic performance through harvesting mechanical energy and open a new avenue in facilitating green catalytic ***,polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF),a flexible piezoelectric material,was introduced to synthesize a novel cd_(0.9)Zn_(0.1)S-ZnO@c/PVDF(cZS-ZO@c/PVDF)piezo-photocatalytic film by spin coating and immersion phase conversion *** from the piezoelectricity of PVDF and the internal electric field(IEF)of cZS-ZO@c Step-scheme(S-Scheme)heterojunction,cZS-ZO@c/PVDF was able to induce a hydrogen generation rate of 34.9 mmol g^(−1)h^(−1)activated by ultrasound and visible light(U-L),which is∼17.5 times of cd_(0.9)Zn_(0.1)S/PVDF(cZS/PVDF)and∼7.4 times of the photocatalysis rate activated by visible light only(L).Piezoelectric measurements and cOMSOL simulation illustrated the excellent piezoelectricity of cZS-ZO@c/PVDF film,which exhibits a piezoelectric.c.efficient(d33)of 9.9 pm V−1 and a piezoelectric potential of 874 mV(under 0.5 MPa).The reaction mechanism for the exceptional piezo-photocatalytic performance was finally disclosed through density functional theory(DFT)calculation and electrochemical *** study enriches the application scope of piezoelectric materials in sustainable energy catalysis and provides a new direction to develop efficient piezoelectric photocatalysts.

α-AlH_(3)is regarded as one of the most promising hydrogen storage materials due to its high hydrogen storage capacity(10.1 wt.%,148 kg·m^(-3)).However,in practical applications,the associated hydrogen release temperature remains relatively *** effectively address this issue,hollow structured Fe@c nanorods derived from Fe-MOF are introduced as highly efficient catalyst to optimize the dehydrogenation properties ofα-AlH_(3).comparatively,the initial hydrogen release temperature ofα-AlH_(3)+3 wt.%Fe@c is reduced to 94.2℃,which is significantly lower than that of pureα-AlH_(3)(137.8℃).At 100 and 120℃,it exhibits hydrogen capacities of 5.38 wt.%and 7.47 wt.%,respectively,whereas pureα-AlH_(3)only delivers hydrogen capacities of 0.24 wt.%and 5.94 wt.%under the same *** density functional theory(DFT)calculations further indicate that the existence of Fe@c.c.talyst can make the length of Al-H bond increase,which is more conducive to the release of *** results show that the synergistic effect of Fe and porous carbon in Fe@c nanorods can improve the hydrogen desorption kinetics ofα-AlH_(3),providing a good prospect for the application ofα-AlH_(3)in hydrogen storage fields.

The low ion transport is a major obstacle for low-temperature(LT)sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).Herein,a core-shell structure of bismuth(Bi)nanospheres coated with carbon(Bi@c)is constructed by utilizing a novel Bi-based complex(1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic dianhydride as the ligand)as the precursor,which provides an effective template to fabricate Bi-based ***-40℃,the Bi@c anode achieves a high capacity,which is equivalent to 96%of that at 25℃,benefitting from the core-shell nanostructured engineering and Na^(+)-ether-solvent cointercalation *** special Na+-diglyme cointercalation behavior may effectively reduce the activation energy and accelerate the Na+diffusion kinetics,enabling the excellent low-temperature performance of the Bi@c *** expected,the fabricated Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)//Bi@c full-cell delivers impressive rechargeability in the ether-based electrolyte at-40℃.Density functional theory calculations and electrochemical tests also reveal the fast reaction kinetic mechanism at LT,thanks to a much lower diffusion energy barrier(167 meV)and a lower reaction activation energy(32.2 kJ mol^(-1))of Bi@c anode in comparison with that of bulk *** work provides a rational design of Bi-based electrodes for rechargeable SIBs under extreme conditions.

Large-scale indoor 3D reconstruction with multiple robots faces challenges in core enabling technologies. This work contributes to a framework addressing localization, coordination, and vision processing for multi-agent reconstruction. A system architecture fusing visible light positioning, multi-agent path finding via reinforcement learning, and 360° camera techniques for 3D reconstruction is proposed. Our visible light positioning algorithm leverages existing lighting for centimeter-level localization without additional infrastructure. Meanwhile, a decentralized reinforcement learning approach is developed to solve the multi-agent path finding problem, with communications among agents optimized. Our 3D reconstruction pipeline utilizes equirectangular projection from 360° cameras to facilitate depth-independent reconstruction from posed monocular images using neural networks. Experimental validation demonstrates centimeter-level indoor navigation and 3D scene reconstruction capabilities of our framework. The challenges and limitations stemming from the above enabling technologies are discussed at the end of each corresponding section. In summary, this research advances fundamental techniques for multi-robot indoor 3D modeling, contributing to automated, data-driven applications through coordinated robot navigation, perception, and modeling. © 2024 The Authors. Internet Inter-Domain Path Inferring: Methods, Applications, and Future Directions

The global Internet is a complex network of interconnected autonomous systems (ASes). Understanding Internet inter-domain path information is crucial for understanding, managing, and improving the Internet. The path information can also help protect user privacy and security. However, due to the complicated and heterogeneous structure of the Internet, path information is not publicly available. Obtaining path information is challenging due to the limited measurement probes and collectors. Therefore, inferring Internet inter-domain paths from the limited data is a supplementary approach to measure Internet inter-domain paths. The purpose of this survey is to provide an overview of techniques that have been conducted to infer Internet inter-domain paths from 2005 to 2023 and present the main lessons from these studies. To this end, we summarize the inter-domain path inference techniques based on the granularity of the paths, for each method, we describe the data sources, the key ideas, the advantages, and the limitations. To help readers understand the path inference techniques, we also summarize the background techniques for path inference, such as techniques to measure the Internet, infer AS relationships, resolve aliases, and map IP addresses to ASes. A case study of the existing techniques is also presented to show the real-world applications of inter-domain path inference. Additionally, we discuss the challenges and opportunities in inferring Internet inter-domain paths, the drawbacks of the state-of-the-art techniques, and the future directions. © 2024 The Authors. Arrival of a new disease marks a yearlong destruction of human lives and economy in general,and if the disease turns out to be a pandemic the loss is ***-19 is one such pandemic that has claimed millions of lives till *** is a suffering throughout the world due to various factors associated with the pandemic,be it loss of livelihoods because of sudden shutdown of companies and lockdown,or loss of lives due to lack of medical aid and inadequate vaccination *** this study,we develop a six-compartmental epidemiological model incorporating *** motivation behind the study is to analyze the significance of higher vaccination effic.c. and higher rate of population getting vaccinated in controlling the rise in infectives and thereby the untimely demise of various *** work begins with an ordinary differential equation model followed by stability analysis of the same,after which a fractional-order derivative model of the same is formulated and the existence of uniformly stable solution for the system is *** addition to this,we present the stability of the equilibria in general for the fractional model *** sensitivity analysis of the basic reproduction number along with its correlation with various parameters is *** addition to this,sensitivity of certain state variables in the fractional model with respect to *** orders as well with respect to different infection rate is exhibited in this *** related to lockdown and usage of face shields are incorporated in the entire study,and importance of these is highlighted in the study as *** major takeaway from the study is that mere vaccination will not sufice in eradication of the *** vaccine effic.c. plays a major role along with other intervention included in the *** numerical simulations are carried out in MATLAB software using ode45 and fdel2.

Urotensin-I(UI)is a peptide belonging to the corticotropin-releasing hormone family,produced in the urophysis of *** investigation was undertaken to examine the effect of UI on the hypothalamo-hypophyseal-ovarian axis in the Mozambique tilapia,a c.c.lid *** the first experiment,administration of UI(2μg/100μL saline)for 22 days caused a significant reduction in the number of follicles at stages I,II,III(previtellogenic),IV(vitellogenic),and V(preovulatory),concomitant with a significant increase in the percent atresia of follicles at stages II,III,and IV than in *** the pituitary,gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH)-positive fibres were detected in the proximal pars distalis(PPD)in both controls and UI-treated fish;however,there was a significant reduction in the intensity and percent area of GnRH-immunoreactive fibres in fish treated with UI compared with *** serum luteinizing hormone(LH)level was significantly lower,whereas a significant rise in the serum level of cortisol was noticed in UI-treated fish compared with *** the second experiment,treatment with a low dose of UI(10 mM)did not affect the number of AcTH-secreting cells in vitro,but the number of these cells was significantly higher in high-dose UI(50 mM)-treated pituitaries compared to ***,the present investigation reveals for the first time that the treatment of UI affects the follicular development process through the downregulation of the GnRH-LH axis and activation of the pituitary-interrenal pathway in teleosts.

cracks have consistently been a significant challenge limiting the development of additive manufactured nickel-based *** is essential to investigate the location of cracks and their forming *** study extensively examines the impact of solidification process,microstructural evolution,and stress concentration on crack initiation during direct energy deposition(DED).The results emphasize that the crack formation is significantly related to large-angle grain boundaries,rapid cooling *** caused by large-angle grain boundaries and a fast-cooling rate predominantly appear near the edge of the deposited *** cracks are more likely to form near the top of the deposited sample,due to the presence ofγ/γ'*** secondary dendritic arm and the carbides in the interdendritic regions can obstruct liquid flow during the final stage of solidification,which results in the formation of solidification cracks and *** work paves the way to avoid cracks in nickel-based superalloys fabricated by DED,thereby enhancing the performance of superalloys.

Single-atom catalysts(SAcs)provide an oppor-tunity to elucidate the catalytic mechanism of complex reactions in heterogeneous *** low-temperature water-gas shift(WGS)reaction is an important industrial technology to obtain high purity ***,we study the catalytic activity of Pt1@Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(2)(T=O,S)SAcs,where one subsurface Ti atom with three T vacancies in the functionalized Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(2)(T=O,S)MXene is substituted by one Pt atom,for the low-temperature show that Pt1@Ti_(3)c_(2)T_(2)provides an excellent platform for the WGS reaction by its bowl-shaped vacancy derived from the Pt1 single atom and three T defects surrounding ***,Pt1@Ti_(3)c_(2)S_(2)SAc has higher catalytic performance for the WGS reaction,due to the weaker electronegativity of the S atom than the O atom,which significantly reduces the energy barrier of H*migration in the WGS reaction,which is often the rate-determining *** the most favorable redox mechanism of the WGS reaction on Pt1@Ti_(3)c_(2)S_(2),the rate-determining step is the dissociation of OH*into O*and H*with the energy barrier as low as 1.12 *** results demonstrate that Pt1@Ti_(3)c_(2)S_(2)is promising in the application of MXenes for low-temperature WGS reactions.
