Effect of Moringa oleifera on semen quality profiles in endangered Teressa goat under tropical humid island ecosystem

Objective:To investigate the effect of Moringa oleifera leaf extract on semen quality parameters in Teressa goat ***:A total of 25 semen samples from six bucks were selected for the *** of 150×10^(6) were incubated in 0,300,500 and 700μg of leaf extract as groupⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ,*** stored semen samples were analysed for motility,viability,total sperm abnormalities,plasma membrane,acrosomal and nuclear integrities,seminal plasma intracellular enzymes[aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(alT)and lac.a.e dehydrogenase(LDH)]and total antioxidant capacity(TAc.a.d spermatozoa malondialdehyde(MDA)and cholesterol efflux in comparison with the control group(groupⅠ)for up to 72 ***:Moringa oleifera leaf extract(500μg/150×10^(6) spermatozoa)-treated semen had significantly higher motility,viability,plasma membrane,acrosomal and nuclear integrities,and TAc(pcantly lower total sperm abnormalities,AST,alT,LDH,MDA production and cholesterol efflux compared to those in other Moringa oleifera leaf extract treated(300 or 700μg/150×10^(6) spermatozoa)and control groups at different hours of liquid storage(pality parameters and TAc showed an increasing trend and total sperm abnormalities,MDA production,leakage of intra-cellular enzymes and cholesterol efflux showed a decreasing trend from group Ⅰto group Ⅲand then an opposite trend from group Ⅲ to group Ⅳ at different hours of liquid ***:Moringa oleifera leaf extract 500μg/150×10^(6) spermatozoa can be used for liquid semen preservation in Teressa goat at Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

computational Study on Furnace process in a Multi-burner Boiler of pulverized c.a. Fired Tangentially at Four corners

Aiming at the optimization of the operation condition, a general numerical method for calculating pulverized c.a. combustion in a full scale furnace fired tangentially at four corners is adopted. “ k ε ” turbulence model is used for the gas phases and a stoc.a.tic.a.proach based on the Lagrangian technique is used for particle phases. Two competing reactions model for the c.a. devolatilization and pDF (the probability density function) method for the combustion of the gas phases are employed. In the numerical simulations, assuming the air distribution of second port level is of pagoda, waist drum and uniform type. The results show that pagoda type air distribution is advantageous to ignition and smooth combustion of pulverized c.a., and suitable to inferior c.a. combustion in practice. In the present furnace, the igniting distance at 1st and 3rd corner is longer than that at 2nd and 4th corner. The results from numerical calculations are in good agreement with those of observed in practice.

Wellbore instability and sand production are all common c.a.lenges in the Niger Delta oil province,resulting in high drilling and production cost as well as damage to oil *** vulnerability of lithologic formations to wellbore instability and resultant sand production is investigated in the four delineated reservoirs of the“Areo”field,western part of Niger Delta *** foundation for establishing the geomec.a.ical properties in this study was a 1-dimensional mec.a.ical earth model,using gamma ray(GR),density(RHOB),compressional slowness(DTc),and shear slowness(DTS)*** the Areo oil field,two wells(well 001 and well 002)were *** evaluated formations are still primarily composed of compacted shale and unconsolidated sandstone,with reservoir sand units exhibiting lower elastic.a.d rock strength properties than shale *** compressibility and porosity make sand more brittle,while low compressibility and porosity make shale stiffer due to high *** maximum force that can be applied to a shale unit without causing it to fail is 17.23 Mpa,which is the maximum average rock strength of the *** means that shale requires more vertical stress or pressure than sand does in order to deform it(15.06 Mpa).The three sand prediction approaches used in the analysis of sand production predictions have cut-off values that are higher than the average values of the *** Schlumberger sand production index method(S/I)indicates that the reservoir has potential for sand influx in the two wells,with the average of the four reservoirs studied in wells 001 and 002 being 1.551012 psi and 1.141012 psi ***,when a formation's sand production index is less than 1.241012 psi,as it is in this study,the formation is likely to produce *** findings support the notion that the defined sandstone units are highly unconsolidated and have a high potential for producing sands;therefore,sand control techniques must be factored in

The one-dimensional Dirac particle for equal scalar and vector asymmetric q-parameter hyperbolic pschlTeller potential (qHpT) is solved in terms of hypergeometric functions. The scattering and bound states are obtained by using the properties of the equation of continuity of the wave functions. We calculat in details the transmission and reflection coefficients.

Beta-HcG Levels and Ovarian Ultrasonography results among Non-pregnant Women of Reproductive Age in port Harcourt, Nigeria: A cross-Sectional Study

Background: certain ovarian cancers that were previously common in postmenopausal women are now increasingly observed in women of reproductive age. The research on using β-HcG as a diagnostic biomarker for ovarian cancer in women of reproductive age is ongoing. Aim: This study assessed the level of serum β-HcG in non-pregnant women of reproductive age and determined its potential assoc.a.ion with suspicious ovarian ultrasonography results. Methods: The study was conducted in port Harcourt, Nigeria. This study adopted a cross-sectional design on a quota sample of 224 case notes of women aged 18 - 40 years obtained from eight diagnostic centres. A data extraction form was used for data collection. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics, chi-square, Fisher’s exact test, and Odds Ratio at 95% confidence and 5% significance levels. results: About 5.8% of the participants exhibited detec.a.le levels of serum β-HcG above 5 IU/L (World Health Organization reference) at a mean concentration of 5.87 (±1.75) IU/L. About 4.0% of the participants had suspicious ovarian lesions identified through ultrasonography. participants with elevated serum β-HcG levels above the WHO reference were 59 times more likely to have suspicious ovarian lesions (Odds ratio: 59.4, 95%cI: 12.3 - 287.8, p β-HcG level and age (p = 0.041) as well as parity (p conclusion: Serum β-HcG levels above the WHO reference in non-pregnant women were assoc.a.ed with suspicious ovarian lesions. More rigorous primary research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses are needed to confirm the findings of this study.

A personnel Detection algorithm for an Intermodal Maritime Application of ITS Technology for Security at port Facilities

With an overwhelming number of containers entering the United States on a daily basis, ports of entry are causing major concerns for homeland security. The disruption to commerce to inspect all containers would be prohibitive. currently, fences and port security patrols protect these container storage yards. To improve security system performance, the authors propose a low cost fully distributed Intelligent Transportation System based implementation. Based on prior work accomplished in the design and fielding of a similar system in the United States, current technologies can be assembled, mixed and matched, and scaled to provide a comprehensive security system. We also propose the incorporation of a human detection algorithm to enhance standard security measures. The human detector is based on the histogram of oriented gradients detec- tion approach and the Haar-like feature detection approach. According to the conducted experimental results, merging the two detectors, results in a human detector with a high detection rate and lower false posi- tive rate. This system allows authorized operators on any console to control any device within the facility and monitor restricted areas at any given time.

Approximate solutions of Klein-Gordon equation with improved Manning-Rosen potential in D-dimensions using SUSYQM

In this paper, we present solutions of the Klein–Gordon equation for the improved Manning–Rosen potential for arbitrary l state in d-dimensions using the supersymmetric shape invariance method. We obtained the energy levels and the corresponding wave functions expressed in terms of Jacobi polynomial in a closed form for arbitrary l state. We also calculate the oscillator strength for the potential.

congenital Mesoblastic Nephroma: A case Report

Background: congenital Mesoblastic Nephroma (cMN) is a mesenchymal renal tumour of early life. With a median diagnosis of two months and over 90% of cases occurring within the first year of life, it is the most prevalent non-Wilms’ renal tumour. Even though imaging can be used as a diagnosing tool, it is frequently identified in the neonatal period when the baby has an abdominal mass. There are three different histologic types: mixed, cellular, and c.a.sic. Radical nephrectomy is the usual mode of treatment, though adjuvant chemotherapy may be necessary for the cellular type, which may be aggressive. case presentation: We report on a case of a 2-day-old term male neonate born to a 27-year-old mother through spontaneous vertex delivery (SVD). He presented with a right-sided abdominal mass from birth. An abdominal ultrasound scan revealed a huge, well-circumscribed heterogeneous soft tissue mass in the right hemi-abdomen extending to the left side, measuring 10.2 cm by 8.0 cm. He underwent a right radical nephrectomy with a tumour weight of 450 g and a size of 18 cm × 15 cm × 6 cm. Histopathological diagnosis was congenital Mesoblastic Nephroma (cellular type) Stage 1. conclusion: Any infant with a renal tumour should be evaluated for congenital mesoblastic nephroma. Detailed investigation and complete resection are fundamental for ensuring an excellent outcome.

A Review on Taxonomy of phylum Kinorhyncha

Kinorhync.a.is exclusively marine, holobenthic, free-living, meiofaunal species found in all marine habitats in the world. However, information on geographical distribution and taxonomical distributional status of Kinorhync.a.are needed further understanding. This research article presents a compiled, up-to-date checklist of the phylum Kinorhync.a.based on bibliographical survey and revision of taxon names. present checklist of this phylum comprises 271 species belonging to 30 genera and 13 families. The families are distributed under three orders, Echinorhagata Sorensen et al. 2015, Kentrorhagata Sorensen et al. 2015, Xenosomata Zelinka, 1907. Among the 271 valid species, in the last five years 82 new species emerged, two new orders and three families were described. It also includes nine new genera. This checklist could serve as a valuable tool to encourage comparison of inter and intraregional research on Kinorhync.a.as well as it can be used as baseline data for future taxonomical revision.
