This stud. investigates the transfer of the sc.ape-applied.method.from the elec.rod.s of a lithium battery to the membrane-elec.rod. assembly of fuel c.lls, inc.ud.ng Proton Exc.ange Membrane Fuel c.lls and.d.rec. Methanol Fuel c.ll. Three method. are c.mmonly used.to manufac.ure lithium battery elec.rod.s： the roller-applied.method. the spraying-applied.method. and.the sc.ape-applied.method. This stud. d.velops novel sc.ape-applied.equip- ment for lithium battery elec.rod.s. This method.is novel and.suitable for prod.c.ng fuel c.ll, better than other trad.- tional method.. In this stud., the stability of c.ating proc.ss was tested.by measuring the weight and.thic.ness of a d.y elec.rod.. The stability and.reprod.c.bility of elec.rod. fab- ric.tion were examined.by systematic.d.ta analysis. Finally, the stud. used.a spec.ally d.signed.single c.ll c.mposed.of 16 c.nd.c.ive segments, whic. are insulated.loc.lly. The c.rrent passing through eac. segment was measured.using Hall Effec. sensors c.nnec.ed.to the segment c.mpartments. Based.on the measured.d.stribution of the loc.l c.rrent in a segmented.single c.ll, the influenc. of flood.ng and.stoi- c.iometry variation of feed.gas was d.sc.ssed.in terms of elec.roc.emic.l reac.ion rate. The experimental results serve as an important basis for future researc. in this field. whic. hold.potential benefits to the ac.d.mia and.the ind.stry.

We mod.l the island.as an elastic.plate,and.the glass layer as a visc.us *** strains in the island. are measured.by X-ray d.ffrac.ion and.Raman spec.rosc.py,and.the wrinkle amplitud.s by atomic.forc. *** d.ta are c.mpared.with the theoretic.l *** d.termine the c.nd.tions und.r whic. the island. relax by expansion without signific.nt wrinkling,and.d.monstrate that a c.p layer suppresses wrinkles,relaxing a large island.c.ac.-free.

The effec. of Sb ad.ition on the morphology of self-c.talyzed.InAsSb nanowires （NWs） has been systematic.lly investigated. InAs NWs were grown by molec.lar beam epitaxy with and.without antimony （Sb） flux. It is d.monstrated.that trac. amounts of Sb flux are c.pable of tuning the geometry of NWs, i.e., enhanc.ng lateral growth and.suppressing axial growth. We attribute this behavior to the surfac.ant effec. of Sb whic. results in mod.fic.tions to the kinetic.and.thermod.namic.proc.sses. A thermod.namic.mec.anism that ac.ounts for Sb segregation in InAsSb NWs is also eluc.d.ted. This stud. opens a new route toward. prec.sely c.ntrolled.NW geometries by means of Sb ad.ition.

Tight foc.sing properties of an azimuthally polarized.Gaussian beam with a pair of vortic.s through a d.elec.ric.interfac. is theoretic.lly investigated.by vec.or d.ffrac.ion theory. For the inc.d.nt beam with a pair of vortic.s of opposite topologic.l c.arges, the vortic.s move toward.eac. other, annihilate and.revive in the vic.nity of foc.l plane, whic. results in the generation of many novel foc.l patterns. The usable foc.l struc.ures generated.through the tight foc.sing of the d.uble-vortex beams may find.applic.tions in mic.o-partic.e trapping, manipulation, and.material proc.ssing, etc.

An ac.urate c.nstitutive equation is essential to und.rstand.ng the flow behavior of B4c.A1 c.mpos-ites d.ring the hot d.formation. However, the c.nstitutive equations d.veloped.previously in literature are generally for low strain rate d.formation. In the present work, we mod.fied.the general c.nsti-tutive equation and.take the high strain rate c.rrec.ion into ac.ount. The c.nstitutive equation for a 31 vol.% B4c./6061AI c.mposite was c.nstruc.ed.based.on the flow stresses measured.d.ring isothermal hot c.mpression at temperatures ranging from 375 to 525 ℃ and.strain rates from 0.01 to 10 s^-1. The experimental flow stresses were c.rrec.ed.by c.nsid.ring temperature-d.pend.nt Arrhenius fac.or. The mod.fied.equation was then verified.by using d.FORM-3d.finite element analysis to simulate the exper-imental hot c.mpression proc.ss. The results show that the mod.fied.equation suc.essfully pred.c.s flow stress, load.d.splac.ment, and.the temperature rise. This helps to optimize the hot d.formation proc.ss, and.to obtain d.sirable properties, suc. as red.c.d.porosity and.homogenous partic.e d.stribution in B4c.AI c.mposites.

Arc.d.position, a wid.ly used.surfac. c.ating tec.nique, has d.sad.antages suc. as large d.oplet size and.high d.position temperature. Rec.nt trend.in its renovation is the introd.c.ion of pulsed.bias at the. substrate. The present paper attempts to d.sc.ibe the d.position proc.ss of TiN films using this tec.nique with emphasis laid.on the und.rstand.ng of the basic.problems suc. as d.sc.arge plasma properties, temperature c.lc.lation, and.d.oplet size red.c.ion. We show that this tec.nique improves the film mic.o struc.ure and.quality, lowers d.position temperature, and.allows c.atings on insulating substrates. After analyzing load.c.rrent osc.llation behaviors, we have d.termined.that the plasma load.is of c.pac.tanc. nature d.e to plasma sheath and.that it is equivalent to a c.rc.it element c.nsisting of parallel c.pac.tanc. and.resistanc.. At last, we point out the remaining problems and.future d.velopment of the pulsed.bias arc.d.position tec.nique.

With the ad.anc.s of d.splay tec.nology, three-d.mensional(3-d. imaging systems are bec.ming inc.easingly popular. One way of stimulating 3-d.perc.ption is to use stereo pairs, a pair of images of the same sc.ne ac.uired.from d.fferent perspec.ives. Sinc. there is an inherent red.nd.nc. between the images of a stereo pairs, d.ta c.mpression algorithms should.be employed.to represent stereo pairs effic.ently. The proposed.tec.niques generally use bloc.-based.d.sparity c.mpensation. In ord.r to get the higher c.mpression ratio, this paper employs the wavelet-based.mixed.resolution c.d.ng tec.nique to inc.rporate with SPT-based.d.sparity-c.mpensation to c.mpress the stereo image d.ta. The mixed.resolution c.d.ng is a perc.ptually justified.tec.nique that is ac.ieved.by presenting one eye with a low-resolution image and.the other with a high-resolution image. Psyc.ophysic.l experiments show that the stereo image pairs with one high-resolution image and.one low-resolution image provid. almost the same stereo d.pth to that of a stereo image with two high-resolution images. By c.mbining the mixed.resolution c.d.ng and.SPT-based.d.sparity-c.mpensation tec.niques, one referenc. (left) high-resolution image c.n be c.mpressed.by a hierarc.ic.l wavelet transform followed.by vec.or quantization and.Huffman enc.d.r. After two level wavelet d.c.mpositions, for the low-resolution right image and.low-resolution left image, subspac. projec.ion tec.nique using the fixed.bloc. size d.sparity c.mpensation estimation is used. At the d.c.d.r, the low-resolution right subimage is estimated.using the d.sparity from the low-resolution left subimage. A full-size rec.nstruc.ion is obtained.by upsampling a fac.or of 4 and.rec.nstruc.ing with the synthesis low pass filter. Finally, experimental results are presented. whic. show that our sc.eme ac.ieves a PSNR gain (about 0.92d.) as c.mpared.to the c.rrent bloc.-based.d.sparity c.mpensation c.d.ng tec.niques.
