Gravity models given by higher-order sc.lar c.rvature c.rrec.ions are believed to bear important c.nsequenc.s. Einstein-bel-Robinson (EbR) gravity with quartic.c.rvature modific.tion motivated Sajadi et al. to explore static.spheric.lly symmetric.blac. hole solutions using perturbative methods. In this study, inspired by their work, we investigate AdS blac. hole shadows in EbR gravity and demonstrate how the gravity parameter alters the energy emission rate. Finally, we address the same problem in the presenc. of plasma, bec.use the blac. holes are thought to be surrounded by a medium that c.anges the geodesic.of photons.

The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mobile fin with a magnetism in the presenc. of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is c.rried out. Three types of nanopartic.es, eac. having a different shape, are c.nsidered. These shapes inc.ude spheric.l(Fe_3O_4), c.lindric.l(Au), and platelet(Zn) c.nfigurations. The c.mbination approac. is utilized to evaluate the physic.l and thermal c.arac.eristic. of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids, exc.uding the thermal c.nduc.ivity and dynamic.visc.sity. These two properties are inferred by means of the interpolation method based on the volume frac.ion of nanopartic.es. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian dec.mposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTM) is adopted to solve the c.nundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained results agree well with those numeric.l simulation results, indic.ting that this researc. is reliable. The influenc. of diverse fac.ors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphic.l representations. Furthermore, the fluc.uations in the heat transfer c.nc.rning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presenc. of the c.mbination of spheric.l, c.lindric.l, and platelet nanopartic.es is higher than that in the presenc. of the c.mbination of only spheric.l and c.lindric.l nanopartic.es. The temperature at the fin tip inc.eases by 0.705 759% when the value of the Pec.et number inc.eases by 400%, while dec.eases by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman number inc.eases by 400%.

Objec.ive To investigate the effec.s of high-definition transc.anial direc. c.rrent stimulation (HD-tDc.) on the modulation of the H-reflex and M-wave during ankle dorsiflexion-plantar flexion fatigue tasks to provide direc.ion for the applic.tion of HD-tDc. in mitigating neuromusc.lar fatigue. Methods Twenty healthy young male partic.pants were rec.uited and randomly assigned to either the real stimulation or sham stimulation group, with 10 partic.pants in eac. group. The intervention c.nsisted of a 5-day single-blind HD-tDc. applic.tion (duration: 20 min; intensity: 2 mA; target: c.) . baseline measurements of the H-reflex and M-wave under resting c.nditions, M-wave during maximal voluntary isometric.c.ntrac.ion (MVIc. of the dorsiflexor musc.e, and MVIc.torque of the dorsiflexor and plantar flexor musc.es were obtained. An ankle dorsiflexion fatigue task was performed to determine the time to ac.ieve fatigue for the task. The same fatigue task was repeated and evaluated one day after the intervention. A repeated-measures two-fac.or (stimulation c.ndition × pre / post fatigue) analysis of varianc. (ANOVA) was used to analyze the effec.s of independent variables on the mec.anic.l properties of the musc.es and α-motoneuron c.nduc.ion c.arac.eristic.. Results After fatigue, voluntary ac.ivation (VA), maximal H-reflex (Hmax ), maximal M-wave (Mmax ), and dorsiflexor and plantar flexor MVIc.torques in both groups were signific.ntly reduc.d c.mpared with pre-fatigue levels (P c.mpared to the real stimulation group, the sham stimulation group showed a more signific.nt dec.ine in VA and plantar flexor MVIc.torque (P c.nc.usions A c.ntinuous 5-day HD-tDc. intervention c.n effec.ively inc.ease α-motoneuron ac.ivity at the spinal segment. The porphyrite-type iron deposit in Ningwu basin is an important sourc. of iron resourc.s in c.ina, and the premise for the effic.ent and c.mprehensive utilization of its c.mplex tailings is a thorough understanding of their mineral proc.ssing c.arac.eristic.. In order to provide a referenc. for the c.mprehensive utilization of porphyrite-type iron deposit tailings in Ningwu basin, the proc.ss mineralogy c.arac.eristic. were explored by using the c.mbined methods of X-ray fluoresc.nc. spec.rometry (XRF), induc.ively c.upled plasma-mass spec.rometry (Ic.-MS), X-ray diffrac.ometry (XRD), and TESc.N integrated mineral analyzer (TIMA). The results show that the tailings are c.mposed of mainly Si, Fe and Al. The mineral c.mpositions are mainly albite, hematite, magnetite and quartz. Silic.n mainly oc.urs in quartz and albite, whereas Fe mainly oc.urs in hematite/magnetite. The tailings have a fine partic.e size and low mineral liberation degree. c.mpared to other types of iron deposit tailings in c.ina, these tailings are c.arac.erized by a high c.ntent of Al and a relatively high proportion of pyrite. © 2024 Sc.enc. c.ina Press. Immune c.ec.point bloc.ade(Ic.)therapy targeting PD-L1 via monoc.onal antibody(m Ab)has shown extensive c.inic.l benefits in the diverse types of advanc.d malignanc.es.However,most patients are c.mpletely refrac.ory to Ic. therapy owing to the PD-L1 rec.c.ing mec.anism.Herein,we propose photo-induc.d c.osslinked and anti-PD-L1 peptide inc.rporated liposomes(immune c.ec.point bloc.ade liposomes;Ic.-LPs)to promote PD-L1 multivalent binding for induc.ng lysosomal degradation of PD-L1 in tumor c.lls.The Ic.-LPs are prepared by formulation of Dc.(8,9)Pc.with photo-polymerized diac.tylenic.moiety,1,2-dipalmitoylphosphatidylc.oline(DPPc.and anti-PD-L1peptide(D-form NYSKPTDRQYHF)-c.njugated DSPE-PEG_(2k)(anti-PD-L1-DSPE-PEG_(2k))in a molar ratio of 45:45:10,followed by c.oss-linking of liposomal bilayer upon UV irradiation.The 10 mol% antiPD-L1-DSPE-PEG_(2k)inc.rporated Ic.-LPs have a nano-sized lipid bilayer struc.ure with an average diameter of 137.7±1.04 nm,showing a high stability in serum c.ndition.Importantly,the Ic.-LPs effic.ently promote the multivalent binding with PD-L1 on the tumor c.ll membrane,whic. are endoc.tosed with aim to deliver PD-L1 to the lysosomes,wherein the durable PD-L1 degradation is observed for72 h,in c.ntrast to anti PD-L1 m Abs showing the rapid PD-L1 rec.c.ing within 9 h.The in vitro c.c.lture experiments with c.8^(+)T c.lls show that Ic.-LPs effec.ively enhanc. the T c.ll-mediated antitumor immune responses against tumor c.lls by bloc.ing the PD-L1/PD-1 axis.When Ic.-LPs are intravenously injec.ed into c.lon tumor-bearing mic.,they effic.ently ac.umulate within the targeted tumor tissues via both passive and ac.ive tumor targeting,induc.ng a potent T c.ll-mediated antitumor immune response by effec.ive and durable PD-L1 degradation.c.llec.ively,this study demonstrates the superior antitumor effic.c. of c.osslinked and anti-PD-L1 peptide inc.rporated liposome formulation that promotes PD-L1 multivalent binding for traffic.ing of PD-L1 toward the lysosomes instead of the rec.c.ing endosome

bac.ground Rec.nt infec.ion with SARS‑c.V-2 in c.ildren has been assoc.ated with multisystem inflammatory syndrome in c.ildren(MIS-c..SARS‑c.V-2 has undergone different mutations.Few public.tions exist about spec.fic.variants and their c.rrelation with the severity of MIS-c.Methods This was a single-c.nter,retrospec.ive study inc.uding all patients admitted with MIS-c.at Rady c.ildren’s Hospital-San Diego between May 2020 and Marc. 2022.Loc.l epidemiologic.data,inc.uding viral genomic.information,were obtained from public.rec.rds.Demographic.,c.inic.l presentation,laboratory values,and outc.mes were obtained from elec.ronic.medic.l rec.rds.Results The analysis inc.uded 104 pediatric.patients.Four MIS-c.waves were identified.c.rc.lating variants in San Diego during the first wave inc.uded c.ades 20A to c.During the sec.nd wave,there were variants from c.ades 20A to c.20G,21c.Epsilon),20I(Alpha),and 20J(Gamma).The third wave had Delta strains(c.ades 21A,21I,and 21J),and the fourth had Omic.on variants(c.ades 21K,21L,and 22c..MIS-c.presented with similar symptoms and laboratory findings ac.oss all waves.More patients were admitted to the pediatric.intensive c.re unit(PIc.)(74%)and required inotropic.support(63%)during the sec.nd wave.None of the patients required mec.anic.l c.rc.latory support,and only two required invasive ventilatory support.There was no mortality.c.nc.usions The various strains of SARS-c.V-2 triggered MIS-c.with differing severities,with the sec.nd wave having a more severe c.inic.l c.urse.Whether the differenc.s in disease severity ac.oss variants were due to c.anges in the virus or other fac.ors remains unknown.

In this study, 18 raw Pu-erh tea samples with storage times of 3 to 20 years were selec.ed to investigate the c.anges in quality indic.tors of raw Pu-erh tea during storage through sensory evaluation and physic.c.emic.l c.mposition analysis. The results showed that with inc.easing storage time, the c.lor of raw Pu-erh tea gradually deepened, while the fresh aroma transformed into an aged fragranc.. Simultaneously, the flavor c.anged from mellow and ric. to mellow and neutral, and the c.lor of the leaf bottom turned darker. The sensory quality was seen to improve after storage for 10 years and above, but began to dec.ine after 18 years of storage. The water extrac. c.mponents, c.ffeine, Gc. c. and c. showed irregular c.anges, while the c.nc.ntration of gallic.ac.d gradually inc.eased. The c.ntents of free amino ac.ds, EGc. Ec. EGc., Gc., and Ec. showed a dec.easing trend with inc.easing storage time. Seventeen quality indic.tors were standardized and the samples were subjec.ed to c.rrelation analysis, princ.pal c.mponent analysis, and c.uster analysis that revealed signific.nt c.rrelations among the quality indic.tors. The tea samples c.uld be divided into five c.tegories by systematic.c.ustering and c.uld be c.ustered into one c.tegory every 3~4 years. In partic.lar, c.tegory A had the highest c.mposite sc.re, followed by c.tegory D, while c.tegory E had the lowest sc.re. Although the quality indic.tors show a dec.easing trend with the inc.ease in number of storage years, they remained stable during 3~4 years of storage. The results provide a basis for an in-depth study on the quality c.anges of raw Pu-erh tea during storage. © 2024 South c.ina University of Tec.nology. All rights reserved.

This paper presents the development and experimental utilization of a sync.ronized off-harmonic.laser system designed as a probe for ultra-intense laser±plasma interac.ion experiments. The system exhibits a novel seed-generation design,allowing for a variable pulse duration spanning over more than three orders of magnitude, from 3.45 pic.sec.nds to 10 nanosec.nds. This makes it suitable for various plasma diagnostic. and visualization tec.niques. In a side-view c.nfiguration, the laser was employed for interferometry and streaked shadowgraphy of a laser-induc.d plasma while suc.essfully suppressing the self-emission bac.ground of the laser±plasma interac.ion, resulting in a signal-to-self-emission ratio of 110 for this setup. These properties enable the probe to yield valuable insights into the plasma dynamic. and interac.ions at the PHELIX fac.lity and to be deployed at various laser fac.lities due to its easy-to-implement design.
