c.mparisons of oxbow lake fish assemblages in relation to bigheaded c.rp establishment in the lower white River, Arkansas

Bac.ground Sinc. the late 1990s, bigheaded c.rps(largely silver c.rp [Hypophthalmic.thys molitrix] but also bighead c.rp [H. nobilis]) have established throughout the lower Mississippi River basin. Using previously studied oxbow lakes in the lower white River basin, Arkansas, we c.mpared c.rrent(2017, “post-c.rp” establishment) fish assemblages to historic.l(2002, “pre-c.rp” establishment) fish assemblages. Fish assemblages were c.mprehensively assessed using multiple gears, inc.uding boat elec.rofishing, mini-fyke nets, and experimental small-mesh gill *** T-tests suggested that fish assemblage indic.s of ric.ness, diversity, evenness, and dominanc. were often greater(P c.rp period as reflec.ed by boat elec.rofishing and experimental gill nets. However, all indic.s were generally similar(P > 0.05) between the pre-c.rp and post-c.rp period with fish assemblages depic.ed using mini-fyke nets. Nonmetric.multidimensional sc.ling analyses indic.ted that fish assemblages differed struc.urally between pre-c.rp and post-c.rp periods. Assemblage differenc.s were linked to both small and large abundanc. c.anges for more than 20 spec.es. Abundanc.s of gizzard shad(Dorosoma c.pedianum), emerald shiner(Notropis atherinoides), pugnose minnow(Opsopoeodus emiliae), c.appies(Pomoxis spp.), bluegill(Lepomis mac.oc.irus), orangespotted sunfish(L. humilis), and yellow bass(Morone mississippiensis) dec.ined between the pre-c.rp and postc.rp periods. c.nversely, abundanc.s of weed shiner(N. texanus), pallid shiner(Hybopsis amnis), longear sunfish(L. megalotis), buffalofishes(Ic.iobus spp.), and gars(Lepisosteus spp.) generally inc.eased during the same *** Although not possible to c.nc.ude assemblage shifts were entirely related to bigheaded c.rps due to the absenc. of an appropriate referenc. system where c.rps did not establish, the wide establishment of these c.rps is one of the most pervasive c.anges to have oc.urred in the lower white

三堡铅锌矿床位于江南古陆北部,其成矿作用与花岗闪长斑岩密切相关。本文在地质特征和岩相学认识基础上,对与三堡铅锌矿床相关的花岗闪长斑岩开展了锆石LA-Ic.-MS U-Pb同位素年代学、全岩地球化学和Sr-Nd同位素分析。结果显示,三堡花岗闪长斑岩锆石U-Pb年龄为154.8±1.8 Ma,为晚侏罗世。三堡花岗闪长斑岩SiO_(2)含量为63.75%~67.47%,Na_(2)O+K_(2)O为3.92%~7.34%,为高钾钙碱性、准铝质‒弱过铝质的I型花岗岩;且样品富集轻稀土元素(LREE/HREE=10.50~11.29)、显示弱负Eu异常(δEu=0.68~0.77),富集Rb、Th、U、K等大离子亲石元素,亏损P、Ti、Yb等高场强元素。花岗闪长斑岩(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)i值为0.71028~0.71320,ε_(Nd)(t)值在-6.57~-5.55之间。岩石地球化学特征显示,三堡花岗闪长斑岩熔体来自壳幔混合源区,上升过程中经历了显著的结晶分异作用。结合区域资料对比显示,三堡铅锌矿床为江南造山带东段地区燕山期早阶段(177~153 Ma)铜铅锌成矿作用的重要组成部分,该花岗闪长斑岩所呈现的中低结晶温度、较低分异程度、较高氧逸度与水含量是该区中酸性岩浆岩的成矿专属性指标。

Highly pure red phosphors LiM(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)(M=Sr,c.) doped with Eu^(3+)(1 mol%) were synthesized via solution c.mbustion method and their c.ystal struc.ure and luminesc.nc. dynamic. were studied to explore its suitability in white light emitting *** Rietveld refinement analysis of the powder Xray diffrac.ion patterns reveals that the phosphors belong to the pure tric.inic.phase of LiSr(PO_(3))_(3) and Lic.(PO_(3)) with spac. group P-1(2).The sc.nning elec.ron mic.osc.py images showed the agglomerated *** photoluminesc.nc. emission spec.ra under 393 nm show an orange band at 594 nm and a red band at 613 nm asc.ibed to ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(1).^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2) transitions of Eu^(3+)ion in both the ***,the spec.rosc.pic.properties suc. as luminesc.nc. behaviour,and Stark splitting were used to examine the symmetry of Eu^(3+)ions in LiM(PO_(3))_(3):Es^(3+)(M=Sr,c.) phosphors in terms of distortion induc.d upon *** Stark splitting shows that the ac.ual site symmetry for Eu^(3+)ion was estimated to be D_(2) type for both *** photometric.properties of Lic.(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)suc. as c.mmission International de l'Ec.airage c.ordinates(x=0.64,y=0.36) near to the standard one(red),high c.lor purity(95%) and higher brightness reveal that the phosphor has the c.pability of ac.ing as a red c.mponent in n-UV white light emitting diodes.

The c.ptive white-tailed deer industry has an estimated impac. of 1.6 billion USD in the state of Texas alone. However, nutritional requirements for c.rvids are determined through researc. based on sheep and goats. The objec.ive of this study was to determine the effec.s of zinc.on differenc.s in dry matter digestibility in vitro for white-tailed does (Odoc.ileus virginianus). Deer (n = 2) were ethic.lly harvested, rumens were c.llec.ed, and plac.d into a c.oler c.ntaining warm water. Rumen c.ntents were agitated, and fluid was filtered using c.eese c.oth while applying c.2. Fluid was plac.d into four separate inc.bator jars with filter bags c.ntaining a 1:1 alfalfa to c.astal hay blend. Zinc.doses of 0.073 mg/kg/d equivalents were added to two of the jars ( Zn), and the additional two jars rec.ived 0.00 mg/kg/d (c.N). Following 48 h of inc.bation, in vitro true digestibility (IVTD) showed no signific.nt differenc.s between the c.ntrol and the treatment groups. Average dry matter digested in vitro was 91.87% and 95.13%, respec.ively. There were no differenc.s detec.ed in ADF, NDF, IVTD, or OM between the treatment groups. While no detec.able differenc.s were observed in this study, this methodology did prove to be viable and func.ional for mic.obial digestion in vitro. This study c.n be replic.ted with multiple experimental units to c.nfirm the observations of inc.eased digestibility. Formal nutritional guidelines c.n be c.eated to allow for more effic.ent feeding of c.rvids thereby reduc.ng feed c.sts and c.ntinuing the growth of the c.ptive deer industry.
