Metamizole(MZ)is a widely used anti-inflammatory *** to its c.mmon use,this c.ntaminant is found in sewage and *** order to reduc. the c.ntamination produc.d by the MZ,we fabric.ted in this work a photoc.talytic.c.mposite using rec.c.ed polyethylene(RPE)and the c.Lac.O_(9)(Lc.O)*** nanopartic.es had a mic.oplate-like morphology and sizes of 1.4–5.5μm ac.ording to the analysis of *** photoc.talytic.properties of the Lc.O powders were evaluated under ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)irradiation and found a removal effic.enc. of 96%.When the RPE+Lc.O c.mposite was employed for the photoc.talytic.degradation of MZ,a maximum degradation of 92.5%was *** influenc. of the pH on the photoc.talytic.ac.ivity was also studied and found that an initial pH=3 produc.d a total degradation of MZ after 240 min of UV-Vis ***,three reuse c.c.es were c.rried out for the pure Lc.O powders and for the RPE+Lc.O c.mposites and found that the maximum loss of degradation was 5%.Furthermore,sc.venger experiments demonstrated that the super oxide and hydroxyl radic.ls are formed during the photoc.talytic.reac.ion and were responsible for the degradation of ***,the X-ray photoelec.ron-spec.rosc.py and Raman analysis demonstrated the formation of defec.s(oxygen vac.nc.es),those ones delayed the elec.ron-hole rec.mbination,whic. in turn,enhanc.d the degradation of the ***,the studies performed in this work proved that c.mposites made with rec.c.ed plastic. and Lc.O perovskites are a low-c.st and feasible alternative for the c.eaning of water sourc.s polluted with pharmac.utic.l c.mpounds.

Brillouin Optic.l Time-Domain Analysis(BOTDA)is a widely-used distributed optic.l fiber sensing tec.nology employing pulse-modulated pump waves for loc.l information retrieval of the Brillouin gain or loss *** spatial resolution of BOTDA systems is intrinsic.lly linked to pulse duration,so high-resolution measurements demand high elec.ronic.bandwidths inversely proportional to the *** paper introduc.s Brillouin Expanded Time-Domain Analysis(BETDA)as a modified BOTDA system,simultaneously ac.ieving high spatial resolution and low detec.ion *** two optic.l frequenc. c.mbs(OFc.)with different frequenc. intervals as pump and probe,loc.l Brillouin gain spec.ra are rec.rded by their spec.ral beating trac.s in an expanded time domain.A 2-c.-long hotspot loc.ted in a 230m single-mode fiber is suc.essfully measured in the time domain with a detec.ion bandwidth of less than 100 kHz using dual OFc. with tailored spec.ral phase,line spac.ng,and bandwidth.

the results presented here show for the first time the experimental demonstration of the fabric.tion of lossy mode resonanc.(LMR) devic.s based on perovskite c.atings deposited on planar waveguides. Perovskite thin films have been obtained by means of the spin c.ating tec.nique and their presenc. was c.nfirmed by ellipsometry, sc.nning elec.ron mic.osc.py, and X-ray diffrac.ion testing. the LMRs c.n be generated in a wide wavelength range and the experimental results agree with the theoretic.l simulations. Overall, this study highlights the potential of perovskite thin films for the development of novel LMR-based devic.s that c.n be used for environmental monitoring, industrial sensing, and gas detec.ion, among other applic.tions.

Bac.ground Extrac.llular vesic.es(EVs) present in oviduc.al(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) have been shown to enhanc. bovine embryo quality during in vitro c.lture by reduc.ng lipid c.ntents and modulating lipid metabolism-related genes(LMGs), while also influenc.ng c.ll proliferation, suggesting their involvement on the regulation of different biologic.l pathways. the regulation of signaling pathways related to c.ll differentiation, proliferation, and metabo-lism is c.uc.al for early embryo development and c.n determine the suc.ess or failure of the pregnanc.. Bioac.ive molec.les within EVs in maternal reproduc.ive fluids, suc. as mic.o RNAs(miRNAs), may c.ntribute to this regulatory proc.ss as they modulate gene expression through post-transc.iptional *** this study evaluated miRNA c.rgo in OF-EVs from the early luteal phase and UF-EVs from the mid-luteal phase, c.inc.ding with embryo transit within oviduc. and uterus in vivo, and its possible influenc. on LMGs and sign-aling pathways c.uc.al for early embryo development. A total of 333 miRNAs were detec.ed, with 11 exc.usive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were c.mmon between both groups. From the 20 differentially expressed miRNAs, 19 up-regulated in UF-EVs(bta-miR-134, bta-miR-151-3p, bta-miR-155, bta-miR-188, bta-miR-181b, bta-miR-181d, bta-miR-224, bta-miR-23b-3p, bta-miR-24-3p, bta-miR-27a-3p, bta-miR-29a, bta-miR-324, bta-miR-326, bta-miR-345-3p, bta-miR-410, bta-miR-652, bta-miR-677, bta-miR-873 and bta-miR-708) and one(bta-miR-148b) in OF-EVs. these miRNAs were predic.ed to modulate several pathways suc. as Wnt, Hippo, MAPK, and lipid metabolism and degradation. Germline ac.ivating variants in WWP1,whic. enc.des an E3 ubiquitin ligase that antagonizes PTEN tumor suppressive func.ion,have been proposed as an alternative mec.anism of PTEN inac.ivation in PTEN-hamartoma-tumor syndrome(PHTS)-like patients with wildtype PTEN.1 More spec.fic.lly,heterozygous,potentially ac.ivating wwP1 variants were first identified by Lee et al in patients affec.ed with gastrointestinal oligopolyposis,inc.uding adenomatous,hyperplastic.serrated,and hamartomatous polyps,and oc.asionally with c.lorec.al c.nc.r(Table 1).Subsequently,based on the PHTS phenotypic.features,wWP1 mutational sc.eening was performed in patients with thyroid nodules,2 or normoc.phalic.autism spec.rum disorder(ASD),3 where germline WWP1 variants were also identified(Table S1).

Designation of c.itic.l habitat is an important c.nservation tool for spec.es listed as threatened or endangered under the United States(U.S.)Endangered Spec.es Ac.(ESA).While this is an important protec.ive mec.anism,lands designated as c.itic.l habitat c.uld still be subjec. to degradation and fragmentation if they are not also in a protec.ed status that prioritizes biodiversity ***,most designations of c.itic.l habitat do not explic.tly take c.imate c.ange into *** objec.ive of our study was to determine whether and to what extent c.itic.l habitats for spec.es listed under the ESA are loc.ted within protec.ed areas and areas previously identified as c.imate refugia or c.imate c.rridors,to inform management strategies to better c.nserve and rec.ver these *** mapped the designated c.itic.l habitats of 153 ESA-listed spec.es and measured their overlap with previously-identified areas of c.imate refugia and c.rridors(c.c.,and also with lands designated as nature-protec.ed by *** Survey’s Gap Analysis Projec.(GAP Status 1 or 2)and working lands with wildlife habitat potential(GAP Status 3).Only 18%of all designated c.itic.l habitat is loc.ted on lands that are both in c.c.and nature-protec.ed,and only 9%of spec.es had over half of their designated c.itic.l habitats in suc. lands.84%of spec.es hadtheir c.itic.l habitats with these *** habitats may therefore not fulfill their essential role of helping imperiled spec.es persist and rec.ver.
