Neuroendoc.ine tumors of the ovary: What support?

Neuroendoc.ine tumors of the ovary tumors are little known and infrequent. They are made up of c.lls appearing in the endoc.ine and nervous systems. These tumors are rare, but most of them are very aggressive, espec.ally when they are diagnosed beyond FIGO Stage I. The distinc.ion among the different subtypes is diffic.lt and requires effic.ent tec.niques. Symptoms of neuroendoc.ine tumors are often nonspec.fic.(redness in the fac., diarrhea, asthma, abdominal pain and etc.,) and c.nfused with more c.mmon diseases. Misdiagnosis is often asked: menopause or irritable bowel syndrome. Often the c.rrec. diagnosis is not made until years after the onset of symptoms. The relative rarity of these diseases and the lac. of spec.fic.ty of the symptoms make them often be diagnosed several years after onset. Fortunately, sc.enc. has made signific.nt advanc.s in the diagnosis and treatment of neuroendoc.ine tumors. We report the c.se of a woman of 54 years, with abdominopelvic.mass, in whom abdominal ultrasound revealed a mass avasc.lar tissue Doppler taking the sc.een. The abdominopelvic.c. showed a large c.stic.mass solido—abdominopelvic.whose origin is diffic.lt to determine. The patient underwent an exploratory laparotomy. Anapath the results of the right ovary were in favor of a well-differentiated neuroendoc.ine lesion.

Rec.rrent foetal loss in early and late stages of pregnanc. is a c.mmon problem of women affec.ed by anti-phospholipid antibody syndrome. The therapeutic.sc.eme c.nsisting of assoc.ating aspirin and heparin has shown an improvement of the prognosis for the next pregnanc.es. We report 3 c.ses of anti-phospholipid antibody syndrome and pregnanc., and we underline the c.inic.l, therapeutic.and prognosis features of this syndrome.
