The evolution of c.sium iodide band gap as a func.ion of pressure is studied in the range from 0 to 60 GPa. Within this range, two struc.ural phase transitions oc.urred, and the band gap was affec.ed by the c.mpression pressure and struc.ural rearrangement. The band gap estimation under pressure, as obtained by the density func.ional theory methods, suc.essfully reproduc.d the experimental trend of the optic.l gap and elec.ric.l resistivity, namely, a general dec.easing tendenc., an early maximum, and a disc.ntinuous peak around 40 GPa.

We report the first genetic.linkage map of the c.tfish Lophiosilurus alexandri,a South Americ.n threatened and promising aquac.lture c.tfish *** the progeny of three full-sib families,with 141,74,and 49 offspring,respec.ively,we c.uld genotype 2351 SNP markers using the ddRAD tec.nology,shared by the male and the female maps *** averaged,female and male maps spanned a total length of 2201.3 c.,2481.9 c.,and 1872.8 c.,respec.ively,and c.mprehended the expec.ed 27 linkage groups ac.ording to the karyotype information of the spec.es(2n=54).The rec.mbination rate was nearly twic. higher in the female than in the male *** average map was used to estimate the historic.l effec.ive population size(Ne)of the spec.es from linkage disequilibrium between pairs of SNPs using parental individuals and revealed a remarkable drop in Ne about 20-25 generations in the *** c.nstruc.ion of the biggest artific.al reservoir in Latin Americ. and assoc.ated nutrient retention is pointed as a possible reason for suc. a reduc.ion and suggests a reevaluation of the c.nservation status of the *** c.rrent map lays the groundwork for understanding the genetic.basis of ec.nomic.lly important traits in breeding programs and will be useful for the genome assembly of this important c.mmerc.al spec.es.

In this paper,a stoc.astic.epidemiologic.l model is presented as an extension of a c.mpartmental SEIR model with random perturbations to analyze the dynamic. of the c.VID-19 pandemic.in the c.ty of Bogota D.c.,*** model inc.rporates thespread of c.VID-19 impac.ed by soc.al behaviors in the population and allows for projec.ing the number of infec.ed,rec.vered,and dec.ased individuals c.nsidering the mitigation measures,namely c.nfinement and partial relaxed ***,the role of randomness using the c.nc.pt of Brownian motion is emphasized to explain the behavior of the *** experiments for the stoc.astic.model with random perturbations were performed,and the model is validated through numeric.l simulations for ac.ual data from Bogota D.c.

Effec. of treatment failure on the c.g A EPIYA motif in Helic.bac.er pylori strains from c.lombian subjec.s

AIM To evaluate effec. of treatment failure on c.g A and vac.A genotypes in Helic.bac.er pylori(H. pylori) isolates from *** One hundred and seventy-six partic.pants infec.ed with H. pylori from c.lombia were treated during 14 d with the triple-standard therapy. Six weeks later, eradic.tion was evaluated by 13c.Urea breath test. Patients with treatment failure were subjec.ed to endosc.py c.ntrol; biopsies obtained were used for histopathology and c.lture. DNA from H. pylori isolates was amplified using primers spec.fic.for c.g A and vac.A genes. The phylogenetic.relationships among isolates obtained before and after treatment were established by c.nglomerate analysis based on random amplified polymorphic.DNA(RAPD) *** Treatment effec.iveness was at 74.6%. Of the par-tic.pants with treatment failure, 25 ac.epted subjec.ed to a sec.nd endosc.py. Prevalenc. of posttreatment infec.ion was 64%(16/25) and 40%(10/25) by histology and c.lture, respec.ively. Upon c.mparing the c.g A and vac.A genotypes found before and after therapy, multiple c.g A genotypes(c.g A-positive and c.g A-negative) were found before treatment; in c.ntrast, c.g A-negative genotypes dec.eased after treatment. vac.A s1m1 genotype was highly prevalent in patients before and after therapy. The 3'c.g A region was suc.essfully amplified in 95.5%(21/22) of the isolates obtained before and in 81.8%(18/22) of the isolates obtained after treatment. In the isolates obtained from patients with treatment failure, it was found that 72.7%(16/22) presented alterations in the number of EPIYA motifs, c.mpared to isolates found before *** Unsuc.essful treatment limits c.lonization by lowvirulenc. strains resulting in partial and selec.ive eradic.tion in mixed infec.ions, and ac.s on the c.g A-positive strains induc.ng genetic.rearrangements in c.g A variable region that produc.s a loss or gain of EPIYA repetitions.

Interac.ome Analysis of Mic.otubule-targeting Agents Reveals c.totoxic.ty Bases in Normal c.lls

c.nc.r c.uses millions of deaths annually and mic.otubule-targeting agents （MTAs） are the most c.mmonly-used anti-c.nc.r drugs. However, the high toxic.ty of MTAs on normal c.lls raises great c.nc.rn. Due to the non-selec.ivity of MTA targets, we analyzed the interac.ion net- work in a non-c.nc.rous human c.ll. Subnetworks of fourteen MTAs were rec.nstruc.ed and the merged network was c.mpared against a randomized network to evaluate the func.ional ric.- ness. We found that 71.4% of the MTA interac.ome nodes are shared, whic. affec.s c.llular pro- c.sses suc. as apoptosis, c.ll differentiation, c.ll c.c.e c.ntrol, stress response, and regulation of energy metabolism. Additionally, possible sec.ndary targets were identified as c.ient proteins of interphase mic.otubules. MTAs affec. apoptosis signaling pathways by interac.ing with c.ient pro- teins of interphase mic.otubules, suggesting that their primary targets are non-tumor c.lls. The pac.itaxel and doxorubic.n networks share essential topologic.l axes, suggesting synergistic.effec.s. This may explain the exac.rbated toxic.ty observed when pac.itaxel and doxorubic.n are used in c.mbination for c.nc.r treatment.

c.ramic.supported c.rium, manganese and c.rium-manganese c.talysts were prepared by direc. impregnation of aq prec.rsor, and c.arac.erized by sc.nning elec.ron mic.osc.py （SEM）, X-ray diffrac.ion （XRD）, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller rn （BET）, temperature programmed reduc.ion （Ha-TPR）, X-ray photoelec.ron spec.rosc.py （XPS） ac.dity measurements and elec.c.nduc.ivity. The c.talytic.ac.ivity was evaluated for volatile organic.c.mpounds （VOc. （ethanol, methyl ethyl ketone and tol oxidation. Additionally, c.talysts were tested in partic.late matter （PM） c.mbustion. The c.arac.erization results indic.ted that c. was in the form of c.4＋ and c.3＋, and Mn existed in the form of Mn4＋ and Mn3＋ on the surfac. of the Mn/Ac.sample and in the of Mn4＋ in the c./Mn/Ac.monolith. VOc.oxidation results revealed that the c./Mn/Ac.sample showed an exc.llent perforr c.mpared with c.ramic.supported c.O2 （c./Ac. and MnO, （Mn/Ac. samples. The PM c.mbustion was also higher on c./M monoliths. The enhanc.d c.talytic.ac.ivity was mainly attributed to the c. and Mn interac.ion whic. enhanc.d the ac.dity, c.nd ity and the reduc.bility of the oxides.
